Daphne, Blaise, and Pansy
Daphne Greengrass slipped out of the Ministry car after her sister and straightened the grey skirt she was wearing with a teal sweater. She grabbed her owl’s cage from her father and followed her mum and sister to the entrance of King Cross Station. Daphne was very excited about going back to Hogwarts for her sixth year but she was still worried about Draco. The past few weeks have only been filled with visions of Draco serving Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and of course of Blaise Zabini. When she told Astoria about Draco, her sister had said to leave him alone and The Dark Lord better not dare hurt a hair on his handsome face or he would have to face her. I think the most evil wizard in the world could take on a fourteen year old witch with his hands behind his back and his eyes closed.
“Watch Out! Freak!” Daphne was surged from her thoughts as she hit into someone with Francreskia’s cage.
“Sorry,” she whispered softly, to the man she hit but he only gave her a dirty look before walking angrily to his train.
“Wow! See much, Daph?” Astoria smirked. Daphne rolled her eyes and followed her family to Platform 9 ¾.
She stood back as Astoria, always having to be first, took off though the portal followed by their father.
“Ok, Daph your turn,” Her mum said smiling.
Daphne took a deep breath then took off through the wall and ended at the Hogwarts Express. She smiled despite herself as her mother stood next to her. Daphne looked around and saw her best mate Pansy Parkinson standing with Millicent Bulstrode. Daphne was still hurt from when Draco told her that Pansy thought her annoying. Daphne walked over to Pansy and tapped her on the shoulder.
“Daphne!” Pansy exclaimed, hugging her, “I have missed you!”
Once she was released she replied, “As I did you Pans, I have to tell you something.”
“Ok, bye Millicent see you later,” Pansy said following Daphne to a quiet spot, “Spill”
“When I was in Diagon Alley, Draco and his mum were there too and my mum went to tea with his mum and left us alone to get our books, well Draco went off and I followed him to Knockturn Alley and I saw he had went into some dingy shop and when he came out I questioned him and I found out he is a Death Eater,” Daphne said breathlessly. She expected Pansy to be surprised but she looked angry.
“It is none of you bloody business, what he is Daphne, the Dark Lord needs him and I expect you to keep your nose out of things too serious and big for you,” and with that Pansy walked to the train and then boarded it.
Daphne stood there speechless, staring after her supposed best mate until she heard the train signal that it was about to leave. She ran and hopped aboard as the train started to pull away. She made her way back to the compartment she shared with the other Slytherin’s in her year.
She opened up the door and saw only Millicent and Tracy sitting in there. “Where are the others?”
“Sitting in the very back, they don’t want to be bothered,” Tracy said in her girly voice. Tracy was a very girly, bubbling girl with short, white blonde hair and big blue eyes. She was not someone that you would suspect to be a Slytherin, but she could be a major bitch when she had to be.
“Oh, are the coming back?” Daphne asked sticking her owl on the rack and sitting opposite Millicent.
“No, they all hate you,” Millicent said, not looking up from “How to Charm a Wizard.” Now Millicent was someone people were scared of, she was not ugly, well anymore thanks to her mum fixing her acne with a potion, but she was strong and always had a sour look on her face.
“They hate me, why?” Daphne asked confused.
“Because you pissed off Draco, but don’t worry we don’t hate you, we think Draco is rather immature and bossy,” Tracy said smiling.
Daphne liked Tracy but she always got a headache from her voice after ten minutes of her blabbing on about her life.
Daphne took out a book and was about to open it when she saw Blaise pass by.
“Hey Blaise!” Daphne said excitedly, going red in the face
Blaise looked at her and said in a bored tone, “Hi Daphne,” still walking.
“Wait!” Daphne yelled standing up and going into the corridor, “Why does everyone hate me?”
Blaise stopped and looked at her and replied, “I think you know, Draco hates you so every other Slytherin does too.”
“No, but when I am with him then yes,” and with that he walked away.
Daphne fell back into her seat with a wide smile on her face. Blaise did not hate her oh the joy.
