The next morning was pure madness; Imogen couldn't find her wand; Vienna was never out of the bathroom having to do her make-up over and over due to her being sick and Cataline accidentally hit off than snooze on her alarm.
"Vi! Have you seen it?" Imogen shrieked, throwing her pillows and Simba, her flying seahorse soft toy off of her bed in search of her wand.
Vienna came running in with her white blouse half buttoned off revealing her pink swirly bra, "Check in your trunk?" she suggested, quickly pulling off her pyjama bottoms and slipping into a black pencil skirt.
Imogen pushed open the lid of her trunk and frantically sifted through everything, trying to stop herself from emptying it, "Oh thank Merlin!" she sighed, hugging her wand to her, "mummys never letting you go again".
Vienna froze at the word "mummy" but shook her head and quickly brushed her long blonde hair into a ponytail. "Girls! Ready to go in five minutes please!" their Mum shouted from the hall.
"Just for once I would like to be organised for going back to school" Imogen grumbled "not even for our last year am I organised". Vienna smiled weakly, "Some things never change 'sis".
The Twins dragged their trunks out to the hall where their Mum was waiting: she had her baggy black trousers and a red strappy top on with her hair a mess but still managed to look casually beautiful. Their Dad often remarked there must of been Veela blood somewhere in her family.
"Okay, you'se two go get coats on and I'll get these out to the car" Cataline said, she brought out her wand and with a simple "Alohamora" charm levitated the two heavy trunks out to the car.
Imogen grabbed her brown leather jacket that was actually Olivers, as it was well too big for her. She had nicked it off him during a party in the Common Room and refused to give it him back, she smiled slightly remembering:
*Flashback*
"Hey, Imogen is that not Oliver's jacket?" Angelina asked, as she tentively sipped her Butterbeer which was actually Firewhiskey.
"Yep, but I'm cold" Imogen slurred, she had had a bit too much to drink, "so technically it's now mine".
"Oh really?" came a Scottish voice from behind them. Imogen turned around and grinned at the Quidditch Captain, "Oh come on Ollie" she smirked, she was the only person who could call him that "we both know I look well better in this than you do".
Oliver snorted and tilted his head "No denying that".
*Flashback Ends*
It had been called her 'lucky' jacket, she and Oliver had went on their first date the day after and when they shared their first kiss, and on the train station before he left Hogwarts forever he told her to keep it.
Vienna couldn't help feel slightly jealous as she saw her sister smile slightly at the leather jacket, it was the stuff she read in her books, the ones Imogen made fun of, the boy would always give the girl his leather jacket -just look at Grease- and Vienna wished for her fairytale romance.
But with a sad heart ,as she put one hand on her stomach, she realised she may never get it.
She pulled on her black and white chequered coat and was glad of its warmness as she saw the trees waving in the wind. Imogen put an arm around her sister and smiled "Ready for one last year?" she asked. Vienna squeezed her shoulder "Bring it on".
The ride to the train station was relatively short and in no time the Twycross women found themselves running to Platform 9 and 3/4.
"Okay girls have a good year and owl me" their Mum sniffed, she was always emotional when seeing them off at the train "I'll see you at Christmas".
Imogen hugged her Mum "Bye Mum, I'll owl soon don't worry", she then climbed onto the train but waited at the door for her twin.
Vienna hugged her Mum too "Mum, theres something I need to-" the train's whistle cut her off, "Honey, you can tell me later, you need to get on" Cataline said.
Vienna jumped onto the train and she and Imogen waved from behind the closed door with a window. Soon their mum became a little speck in the distance.
"Tell her in an owl, yeah thats a great way of telling her I'm ... you know" Vienna said in a low voice as a pair of Hufflepuffs walked by. "Well, you'll have too" Imogen shrugged "and Dumbledore and Pomphry".
Vienna looked down and nodded "I know, I know", Imogen smirked "Wanna come sit with me and the guys?". The guys meaning her friends, Fred and George and Lee. Vienna raised an eyebrow, "I'd sooner tell the whole school my dilema".
The sisters gave each other a hug and went their seperate ways. Vienna headed off to find her best friend Valerie Morgen, she was a fellow Ravenclaw and the two had been best friends since first year.
Valerie was a slender built girl with long straight brown hair with matching brown eyes and gorgeous skin. Vienna usually called her 'Vintage Val' as she had a very vintage look about her.
She found her sitting in a carriage with Fallon Turnich, Greg Davies and Kyle Lafferty, Kyle and Greg were the Ravenclaw Beaters while Fallon had replaced Rodger as Quidditch Captain.
Fallon had a tall, athletic build to him but was not a jock in any way; he had black hair that was longish and fell into his amazing blue-wolf eyes. He was Vienna's best boy who was a friend and her confidante.
Greg was just like his cousin Rodger, tall, blonde, sporty and in love with Valerie despite her dating Rodger, only Vienna knew how he felt and she gave her word to never tell.
Kyle was the complete opposite of Greg even though they were best friends; he was the strong, silent type and had an indie style about him with his brown hair and dark eyes, and the fact he played acoustic guitar beautifully.
"Hello Vi" Valerie smiled widely and stood up to hug her friend, "how have you been darling?", Vienna smiled back "Hey Val, usual really and yourself?".
"Oh don't get her started" Fallon rolled his eyes "she's been going on about her holiday in Greece, complaining about the manners of the hotel staff".
Valerie wheeled around "Exscuse me Fallon dear, but waiters should not rub a young lady's shoulder intimately while she is ordering her meal", Valerie was completly old-fashioned and belived in the old virtues - except the no sex before marriage one however.
"Whatever, move over so I can say hi to my girl" Fallon winked at Vienna who giggled back, Fallon was a complete sweetheart and Vienna had had a crush on him before they became friends. "Hey you" she said into his shoulder as he gave her a tight hug ...
Which pressed into her stomach and made her feel nauseaus, reminding her of the life form growing inside of her.
"Hey Vi!" Kyle nodded, "How's it going Vienna" Greg smiled.
Vienna smiled at them both before sitting next to Valerie with Fallon on her right, "You okay Vienna?" Valerie frowned worryingly "you'r rather pale".
Vienna bit her lip, she couldn't lie to Valerie, not after seven years of friendship. "I've just got a stomach upset" she said, but widened her eyes.
Valerie nodded quickly, showing she understood she would talk about it later, "Oh dear, hope you feel better soon".
Down the corridor of the train, near the bottom, loud laughter could be heard from one carriage. Imogen was snorting with laughter, something she only did to something she found extremely funny, while the boys just smirked.
"Okay, okay okay!" she squealed "I'll admit I missed you if you take off this bloody Tickling Charm!".
Fred waved his wand and Imogen let out a tired breath, "You'll think twice Twinkle before saying you didn't miss us" George winked. Imogen pulled a face but laughed again before opening her box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.
"So whatcha do over the summer?" she asked them, shaking the box as she offered them one. Fred shook his head, "Had to stay at the bloody He-"
"Hellhole with the family upset over Percy" George interrupted, popping a bean into his mouth, "Mum won't stop crying when his name is mentioned".
Imogen felt the twins weren't being completly honest over their summer but she didn't press any further, "How about you Lee?".
"Went to Barbados to visit my Nana and Papa .." Lee trailed off "Shit, sorry 'Gen". Imogen opened her mouth to ask what he was talking about then remembered. Her Grams had been murdered.
"Hey, its okay" she said, but felt tears build up behind her eyes, "you don't need to avoid mentioning grandparents forever, everyone dies at somepoint".
Simotaniously, the boys came over and comforted Imogen as tears ran down her face. Fred took her left, George her right and Lee kneeled down in front of her and took her hands in his.
Imogen shook slightly, she hadn't cried when she had first found out about her Grams, not like Vienna and her Mum, she was more like her dad not allowing her feelings to take over: especially grief.
"It's okay" Fred said comfortingly, hugging her tight. "Hey, it's my turn to hug her" George retorted, Lee snorted "At least you have a shoulder I only have hands" he said, squeezing them.
Imogen laughed through her tears, "I love you guys" she said quietly, smiling waterly at them, "Well duh" Fred rolled his eyes, "Who wouldn't?" George winked at her, Lee just laughed along with Imogen.
The Train ride was over as soon as it had started and both girls wished it were longer, it seemed their last year was determined to speed along.
It seemed only a matter of time that they were sitting in the carriages with their friends heading up to the castle.
"So hows your Grandad?" Greig asked Vienna, she was sitting on top of Fallon as Marietta Edgecombs and Cho Chang had asked to sit with them also, "He's doing okay" Vienna answered quietly "Mum and Dad don't want him alone but he's stubborn" she smiled slightly.
Fallon gave her a gentle squeeze around the waist, "If he's anything like you, he'll be okay" he whispered in her ear.
Vienna smiled fully at him, and leaned against his shoulder, for that, she recieved a glare of off Marietta, who had fancied Fallon since first year and had always been jealous of Vienna.
"So, our last year Vienna, sad isn't it darling" Valerie sighed, looking up to the luminous castle that shone in the dark, "I still haven't decided on a paticular career".
Cho nodded "At least we have another year before we need to decide" she said motioning her and Marietta "I'd be lost if this was my last year at Hogwarts".
"Stay another year?"
Imogen rolled her eyes, for about the whole of the carriage ride, Fred, George and Lee had been begging her to stay at Hogwarts. "Guys, this is my last year" she said smiling sadly, "you knew this day would come when you made friends with me".
"But you never said how hard it would be-"
"-how can I put up with the twins and their secret langu-"
"-who'll help me with Charms no-"
The endless babble continued and Imogen just shook her head, she would miss them. By Merlin she would.
It was a day she had dreaded for years but she was also quite excited about graduating Hogwarts.
Getting a job, doing magic outside of school and most of all seeing Oliver more.
It was just telling her parents that she and Oliver were moving in together that she dreaded doing.
