I set out on a narrow way many years ago

I saw her laying there in the Chamber of Secrets, no she can’t be dead, no Ginny cannot be dead, and who could kill her. “Ginny!” I called racing forward throwing myself at the floor right next to her she looked so dead, unmoving and she felt cold to the touch. I wanted to cry, I wanted to find the Heir of Slytherine and pay them back.

And that is what I did for Ginny, I killed the basilk for her, praying that maybe it would wake her up, but when that didn’t work I wanted to destroy what was going to be the death of her and me. So I stabbed the book, bringing her back to life, and Fauxes saving me. After that it was set that I would marry her.  

Of course, I didn't know that back then, I was to stupid to relise it, to dumb to see the greatness sitting right before me. As Sirus would say 'There is something about those Potter men and redheads."

As weird as it is, when I saved her, I knew, deep down, so deep it took me I awhile to realize, that Ginny Weasley would one day be my wife, no one else’s, mine. It was a great feeling knowing I saved her, the small, beautiful, shy Ginny Weasley. Everything always led to Ginny, the Chamber, my best friends, going to the Quidditch World Cup, everything, even fighting Voldemort. I think about the years I spent just passing through. When things didn’t work out with Cho I found her.

Ah Cho, she was beuatiful and I really thought I loved her, in the begining of fifth year most defianitly. She liked me too, and Hermoine didn't help me with all of her encourgment, I could see Ginny glaring at her when she did so. But sometimes it is harder to see the things right infront of you.










I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you

It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

The worst part is that it took me so long to realize it, if I only found out sooner we could have had longer together. Though whenever I tell her this she smiles, takes my hand and says “ You gave me you, and that’s fine, I don’t care how long we have, I care that I am with you.”

I also smile at this, Ginny has never been one to cry, or be shy about her feelings and thoughts. She is always upfront a frank, never brutal, never rude or mean, she was too Ginny to be rude, or brutal.

I love Ginny, and James, Albus, Lily and Teddy, they are my family, the people who know me, not the Chosen One. I love them so much, god bless that broken road that brung me to them, home. I couldn’t be happier it makes everything I’ve been through worth it.They are my sole reason for staying alive, for fighting Tom, for getting through the after math.

There is just something about those redheads and us Potter men, because it seems to be always happening. I remeber James' first girlfriend, she was no redhead and it only lasted a month.
