"Molly" Nate sighed, she was being incredably difficult, he was almost afraid she was going to keep him hostiage. Understandable, of coure, Ron and Harry were gone and she didn't have any control over that, she didn't want to let her friend's son go out into the unknown when there was something she could do about it, even though there wasn't, Nate's mind was made up and nothing she said would change that. "I told you, I know I don't have to leave, I want to, I want to fight."
"You're very stubborn." Mrs. Weasley said, "Like Ron." Nate smiled, "I'm going to miss you, Nathan."
"Thank you so much for everything you've done for me," Nate said, hugging Mrs. Weasley. "I can't never repay you for that."
"You don't have to, just try to be safe."
"I will." Nate promised.
Mrs. Weasley patted his face and hugged him again, then he turned to Autumn. Her moon pale face anticipating, her red curls blowing in the breeze, her blue eyes holding back tears, but her rose petal lips stretched in a smile. She stared at him waiting for him to make the first move. She looked strong and emotionally unstable at the same time. She was trying so hard to be strong, he could tell.
Nate stepped towards her and put his hand on her warm cheek. "I love you," he whispered. "I love you, Autumn Weasley, and I'll see you as soon as this is all over."
"Be safe." she said.
"I will," he said. "Be happy."
"I'll try." she smiled, "I love you so much."
Nate gently lifted her face up and put his lips on hers, he felt a now familiar but no less shocking bolt of electricity surge from his lips to his toes making his feet bolt themselves to the floor and make his heart soar. Fear fell away momentarily nothing mattered but her. Ringing in his ears blocked out everything. Then a tear fell on Nate's thumb.
He broke away from her, "No," she said, quietly, wiping the salty drop of water from her face, "I'm sorry, I'm just, I'm going to miss you so much, but I'm going to be okay."
"I'm going to miss you, too." Nate whispered. She ran her hand down the side of his face. Tears continued to trace they're way down her pearly cheeks, then she hugged him again, burying her face into his chest.
"I said I wasn't going to cry," she murmured it was muffled his jacket, "I'm sorry, I truly am."
"It's okay." Nate whispered rubbing her back, he felt tears trickling down his own cheeks, too. "It's okay. I have to go."
"I know, I know, I'm sorry."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
She shut her eyes another tear running down her face, "Good-bye." Nate picked up his rucksack and slung it over his shoulder. then he apparated.
Author's note: The more I think about it the less I like this story, I'm suffering major writers block, but I will try to finish it for the 3 people that are actually reading it :(
And I know it's short, I'll get a longer chapter soon
(And yes I am bitter, i'm not having a good day today. High school sucks)
