Chapter 16- The Honeymoon
“Hurry up and leave love birds.” Fred said.
Harry glared at him, but before he could say anything Ginny cut in. “You two should go and relax.”
“Go make us some more nieces and nephews.” George said grinning.
“But most importantly. Enjoy your honey moon.” Bill said.
“In other words,” Charlie reiterated. “They’re going to tease the hell out of you Harry when you get back.”
“You guys better leave Harry alone when we get back.” Hermione said glaring.
“Fine.” The guys said without protest, but when Hermione turned to talk to Ginny the guys grinned at Harry who glared at them. Charlie went to stand next to him. “Don’t worry Harry your secret is safe with me.”
Harry turned to him. “About that Charlie…it wasn’t how it looked like.”
Charlie raised an eyebrow before shrugging. “Oh well…I’ll see you when you get back.” With that said Charlie patted his back before heading to the bar section. “Don’t get too drunk.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll drive them home in case they get drunk.” Ginny said glaring at them men who followed Charlie.
“Where’s James?” Hermione asked, feeling worried.
“James is with Fleur. I’ll pick him up tomorrow morning.”
“Thanks Ginny.” Harry said.
“Don’t worry about anything. I’ll take care of everything over here. Now get going.” Ginny said with her hands on her hips.
“We will.” Hermione said tugging Harry to the door where a limo waited for them.
Ginny couldn’t help but smile as she watched them go and waved when Hermione rolled down to window to wave at her.

Hermione and Harry lay panting on the bed in the presidential suite that Ginny had rented for them in a five star hotel. “Hermione you’ve gotten heavier.”
“Go to hell!” she hissed hitting him on the chest.
“Abusive woman.” Harry growled as he got off the bed. “This is the thanks I get for carrying from the limo to here.”
“I didn’t ask you to.” Hermione said sticking her tongue out at him. Harry shook his head. “I’m going to wash up before heading to bed.”
Hermione watched him as he grabbed his pyjama bottoms as headed toward the bathroom. She quickly got up from the bed as soon as he closed the door. She grabbed her nightgown and placed it on the bed before trying to take off her dress, but her hands couldn’t reach the zipper. She began to curse.
It was the second time in a day, that Harry caught Hermione cursing at her gown trying take it off. She turned to him glaring. He stood by the doorway to the bathroom smirking.
“You’re going to make me ask, aren’t you?”
Harry shrugged. “The last time I did something for you willingly, you threw it back at my face.”
Hermione sighed. “Can you help me with my zipper? Please.”
“Okay, but only because you asked nicely.” Harry said smirking before helping her with the zipper.
After he was done Hermione quickly grabbed her nightgown and ran into the bathroom holding her dress in place. “Thanks.” She said before closing the door with her foot.
Harry shook his head before getting into the bed and waiting for her to come out.
“You stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine.” Hermione said as she got in the bed.
“Fine.” Harry said turning the light off causing the room to become pitch black. Harry tried to see where he was going as he made his way to the bed. He cursed as he almost tripped.
“What’s wrong?’ Hermione asked.
“Nothing.” Harry hissed grabbing the covers as he finally reached the bed.
“Night.” He said settling in.
“Night.” Hermione whispered. During the night Hermione had gotten cold and so she snuggled to the closet thing that could provide her warmth, which happened to be Harry. Harry felt something dig itself on his side, but was too tired to open his eyes and see what it was.
The next morning Harry woke up to the sunlight hitting his face. He groaned trying to move to his right, but felt that his body was heavier than usual. He opened his eyes slowly blinking the sleep from them. Harry looked to his side to see Hermione had snuggled up to him. He felt one of her legs wrapped around his waist. Her left hand rested on his chest and she was using his left arm as a pillow. As Harry looked at her, he wondered how the hell they had gotten into that position.
Harry sighed before trying to pull his arm back, which he succeeded in, but the problem was trying to get her off of him without waking her. After all he didn’t want to have her yelling at him this early in the morning. He tried to pull his body slowly away from her, but her hold on him on kept getting tighter until she pinned him to the bed by laying her head on his shoulder.
Harry cursed knowing there was only one way to get out of this problem. He gulped. “Hermione.” He whispered, but she didn’t stir. “Hermione.” He said much louder and shook her a little.
“What?” she grumbled still half asleep.
“Can I get up now?”
“Sure, do whatever you want, just let me sleep.” She said snuggling more on to him.
He waited for her to understand their problem. “I can’t.”
Hermione growled. “Why can’t you?!”
“Because you practically have me pinned to the bed.” Harry growled back. He watched as she slowly moved her head to look at him then she watched her gaze travel downward to where her leg was. He watched as she disentangled herself from him and glanced at him. “Sorry.” He smirked because she wasn’t fast enough to hide her blush from him. “If you wanted me that bad, all you had to do was ask.”
“Shove it!” Hermione said aiming to hit him. Harry chuckled as he quickly got off the bed narrowly missing her fist. He grabbed a towel and ran into the bathroom.
“I can’t believe the nerve of him.” Hermione hissed as she sat by the bar. The bartender turned to her. “What would you like?’ he asked smirking.
“A virgin margarita.” Hermione sighed. The bartender nodded and turned to make the drink. Her thoughts returned to her husband.
“I can’t believe him. At times he can be romantic, kind and then there were times that he can be an insensitive jerk. I’m not going to talk to him for the rest of the night.” Hermione thought to herself frowning as she remembered how they spent most of the day arguing because he kept bringing up their morning incident whenever he had an opportunity. “That jerk, he can rot in hell for all I care.” Hermione growled.
“What is a beautiful girl like doing all by herself frowning?”
Hermione turned to see a handsome man taking a seat next to her. He had light brown hair and green eyes that seemed to glow with mischief. The grin he had only made him look more attractive. She shrugged. “Nothing.”
The man chuckled. “You don’t mind me sitting here, that is unless you’re waiting for someone?” he asked standing up.
Hermione looked at him.
“Maybe some company isn’t so bad.” She thought to herself. “Go right ahead.” She said smiling at him.
“Thanks.”
The hairs at the back of Hermione’s neck stood up, it felt like someone was watching her, but brushed it off and glanced at the man next her. The bartender brought her drink. “Thank you.” She drank the liquid down and finished it in less than three minutes.
“Want another one?”
Hermione glanced at the guy next to her. “Sure.” She watched as he ordered her another one. “What’s your name?” she asked.
For a moment he looked at her surprised before smiling. “Lex. And yours?”
“Hermione.”
“It suits you.”
“Thanks…I guess.” Hermione said looking away from him. She felt guilty talking to a strange and letting him buy her drinks when she didn’t even know were Harry was after he left their room by himself.
“Oh well…it’s his own fault.” Hermione thought to herself. She smiled once at more at Lex as he handed her a drink. She thought it was strange the way he kept looking at her as she drank it.
An hour had pass and Hermione was feeling lightheaded. She didn’t know why if she continued to get virgin margaritas, it contained no alcohol. She looked around her surroundings only to see the room around her spin. For a weird reason she wanted to laugh. “I should get going.”
“Come on Hermione just one more drink.” Lex said handing her another one. Hermione stared at it.
“I think she’s had enough.”
Hermione and Lex turn to look at the person who was standing behind their chairs. “Harry.” Hermione whispered his name feeling giggly. She quickly got up from the chair and tripped over her feet while trying to reach for him. “I was just thinking about you.” She tried whispering, but it came out kind of loud causing Lex and two other people around them to stare.
“Your drunk.” Harry said.
Hermione shook her head. “No I’m not! I’m happy…especially now that you are here.” She said hugging him. Harry not used to Hermione being affectionate toward him hugged her back awkwardly. He turned to the bartender. “Has she had any alcohol?”
“I only gave her virgin margaritas, I swear.” The bartender responded.
Harry looked at Lex. “That only leads to you.”
“Leads what to him?” Hermione asked as she pulled away from him.
“Nothing.” Harry said quickly. “Lets go back to the room.”
“Okay.” Hermione said smiling grabbing his hand, but Harry pulled his hand away gently. “Aren’t you coming?”
Harry nodded. “I am just wait for me by the elevator.”
“Okay.” Hermione said leaving the men alone.
Harry watched Hermione until she was out of his sight before turning to Lex glaring. “If I see you anywhere near my wife again. I will personally hunt you down. You’re lucky I’m letting go after the stunt you pulled on her.”
“How did you know?” Lex asked nervously.
“I was watching the both of you from afar. The only thing that is stopping me from going after your throat is her waiting for me. Make sure I never see your face again.” Harry growled before leaving the man by himself.
“There you are. I was wondering what was taking you so long.”
Harry looked at Hermione as she walked up to him. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be.” She said as she grabbed his hand. Harry looked at their linked hands before looking back at her as she pulled him toward the elevator. The doors opened as she shoved him in them.
“Aggressive, don’t you think.”
Hermione winked at him. “You know you like it.”
Harry shook his head. When the doors opened once more Hermione began to lead him again. “Why are you in such a rush?”
“I want to be alone with you.” Hermione said.
Somehow those words raised a red flag. Harry watched her as she opened the door. They both went inside and Hermione closed the door behind her making sure to lock it. Harry raised his eyebrows as Hermione turned around to face Harry. What she saw shocked her, as she frowned confused.
Harry was sitting at the table reading a newspaper.
“Harry.” She mumbled, stumbling towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Come to bed.” She slurred.
“I’m not very sleepy.” Harry said without looking away from the newspaper.
“Neither am I.” Hermione giggled. That was what worried Harry.
“Hermione.” Harry sighed.
“Come on Harry!” Hermione begged.
“Not while you’re drunk.” Harry frankly told her. He wasn’t about to take advantage of his wife. “Come on, let’s get some sleep.” Harry stood, taking Hermione’s hand.
Hermione ripped her hand from Harry’s. “I don’t wanna sleep! I wanna party! Whoo!” Hermione cheered, and began to dance even though there was no music playing. Harry laughed at his crazy wife as she danced around the room drunk.
Eventually, she got tired, collapsing into a chair, and bursting into a fit of giggles.
“I wanna go swimming!” Hermione excitedly said, standing up, and making for the door. Harry sprung up, trying to stop her, but she was already out the door.
“Hermione!” Harry called as he saw Hermione disappear into the elevator. It was going up. Harry impatiently waited as the next lift came, and he tried to find his wife. He searched all the top floors, before searching the lobby. He couldn’t find her anywhere.
“Where is she? What is something happens to her? She isn’t in her right mind. She’s drunk. Oh Merlin!”
“I’m bringing sexy back! Yea!” Came Hermione’s sudden voice. She was singing sexy back by Justin Timberlake. Now he had heard everything. Harry’s eyes widened as he followed the voice. It was then he found Hermione outside. She really did want to go swimming. Hermione was currently standing on a diving board, about 10 m high, dancing around, and singing Sexy Back. That girl was crazy.
“Hermione!” Harry called.
“Hi Harry!” She waved madly, before giggling, and continuing her singing and dancing. Harry groaned as he rushed towards the ladder, climbing onto the diving board.
“Hermione!” He called to her, stretching out his arm as he carefully walked forward. He wasn’t a fan of heights.
“Harry.” She sighed, as she placed her arms around his neck, hugging him.
“Come on Hermione, let’s get back to the room.” Harry told her, trying to lead her off the board, but Hermione wouldn’t go.
“No! I wanna jump. Come on Harry, jump with me.” She giggled.
“Hermione, you’re crazy. Now come on!” Harry insisted, but Hermione latched herself onto his arm, and before he could do anything, she jumped off the board, pulling him with her.
“ARGH!” Harry screamed as he hit the water, with a loud splash. Once resurfacing, he found Hermione lying down beside the pool.
“Harry.” She mumbled as he approached her.
“What Hermione?” Harry was now very pissed off.
“Nothing.” She smiled, closing her eyes. Harry took this opportunity, picking her up, swinging her over his shoulder and carrying her back to their room. Harry kicked the room to their suit closed, placing Hermione’s wet body on the bed. He let go of her to go get some dry clothes, but she grabbing his arm.
“’ey!” She slurred. “Don’t leave me. Stay here with me. It’s warm.” She mumbled, lying back down as Harry sat by her bed. He stayed there for about a minute to ensure that she was asleep, before grabbing her PJ’s, and changing her into them.
It was nearly 2am by the time Harry hit the bed, very tired from that nights expedition.
“Harry.” Hermione mumbled, turning over to face him, but her eyes remained shut. “I like you.”
“What?” Harry asked, but Hermione was already asleep. Harry sighed, leaning back and letting sleep take over.
A/N- Not my best chapter. I know. I wanted something to happen between them, but then I would have to change the rating of the story, and I wasn't quite sure what you guys wanted. Also I am very sorry it took me soooo long to update, but I have been very very busy. I curse my english teacher for giving me an endless amount of essays to write!! Anyway, Sorry if this chapter was a dissapointment. I was to me. I would be furious with myself if i was the reader, but im not. Tell me what u think. Oh some of u were wondering why i put Hermione's cousin in the wedding, and just to tell you now that he doesn't play a major part in the story. But he will come back later on. Mainly he's here to prove that there is someone to kick Harry if he screws up. =) Thanks for reading, and don't forget to review!!
