“Ted Remus Lupin, get down here now!” I shrieked at the top of my lungs from the bottom of the boys’ dormitory staircase. A few small second years cast me a scared glance as I stood huffing angrily.

“What are you looking at?” I hissed harshly at the second years. They quickly scrambled to their feet and ran out of the common room. The door shut with a loud slam followed by a set of panicked footsteps.

“LUPIN!” I screamed louder actually stomping my foot, “You better get your soon-to-be-dead-arse here NOW!”

After a couple of seconds, a good looking tall blonde boy came popped his head out and grinned at me cheekily.

“Oh, it’s you, Weasley,” he chuckled with an amused grin, “I should’ve known. Who else has a temper like that? You should try to keep it down though, you’re going to wake up all of Gryffindors and we have classes tomorrow.”

“Cut the crap, Lupin,” I said flatly, marching up the stairs straight up to him, my blonde curly hair bouncing flying everywhere. I readjusted my baggy t-shirt as I snarled at him menacingly. And do you know what the bloody prick did? He smirked at me and casually leaned against the wall.

That made me (if possible) angrier.

Damn Lupin.

“Who the hell do you think you are!?”

He opened his mouth to respond but I continued to talk. “You can’t keep breaking up with the entire Hogwarts female population! They have feelings, you know!? You can’t just-”

“Is this about Emily?” he interjected quickly catching on.

“You actually need to ask who it’s about!?” I screeched in disbelief. “How many girls have you dumped in the past week!?”

“I’d rather not talk about that-”

“Yeah!? Well, that’s what we’re going to talk about!” I shouted bringing my face threateningly close to his face. I was so close I could smell his disgustingly minty breath. “Who do you honestly think you are!?”

“You already asked that-”

I cut him off. “Do you feel nothing when you shatter someone’s heart? Do you even have a heart?”

“If I say ‘yes’, can I leave?” he grumbled rolling his eyes.

I ignored him. “You arrogant prick! Do you think I’m going to take your crap! Do you think that I’m just going to let you screw with all of these girls lives!? Do you honestly think that I’m just going to let you pick your next victim!? Who’s it gonna be anyways? Some random chick with big boobs? What’s next!? Are you going to pick on some little first year! You’ve already dated everyone from fifth year and higher!”

“Why do you even care?” he sighed in annoyance, “Is someone jealous?”

Lupin stood there looking proud of himself. He grinned as if he actually thought that he was that amazing that I was actually jealous! That arrogant self absorbed prick! Standing there like he’s a gift from God! Gah! I wish I could just rip off his pretty little face! But since I’d probably get kicked out of school for that, I drew back my fist and buried it deep in his gut. Lupin cursed and clutched his stomach.

“You break up with my friend and you think I’m jealous? I yell at you for being such a man whore and you think I’m jealous!” I barked at him. “You may be Head Boy, Quidditch Captain and you may have a nice arse, but to me you’re just another cocky, smug git.”

Remarkably, Lupin grinned again. “So, you think I have a nice arse?”

I blinked twice when I realized what I said. I growled at him as he continued to smirk proudly.

I hate that smirk.

And I hate him.

“So, since I have such a nice arse,” he started pompously, “How about you come with me to the Hogsmeade next Saturday?”

My eyes nearly popped out of my eyes with indignation. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they just popped out of my eye sockets.

“You’re asking me on a date!?” I howled.

“I know it’s a big moment for you in your life, but all you have to do is nod,” he said confidently and flashed a dashing smile at me, “I know I don’t usually go for the tomboy type but I might as well do a girl a favor.”

And then with all the force I had, I slapped him across the face leaving a tremendously red mark on his cheek. I hit him so hard my hand was stinging. But it was definitely worth it if I could wipe that smug grin off of his face. Lupin reached up with one of his hands and touched his cheek.

His mouth dropped in shock. “Did you just slap me?” he asked incredulously.

I swear on my life that I will never be as happy as I was in that moment. I smiled cheekily back at him. “Let’s just say I high-fived your face.”

Finally satisfied with the damage I had caused, I started my way up the girls’ dormitory staircase when-

"So, was that a ‘yes’?”

I turned around angrily. Lupin was still standing there with his cocky smile. Damn Lupin. “Let me make this completely clear. That was a ‘hell no’, a ‘never going to happen’, a ‘stay the hell out of my way or I’ll curse you into the next century’. And if you ever hurt one of my friends again, I will make sure that your pretty face isn’t so pretty anymore,” I snarled at him.

And with that, I stomped loudly up the stairs muttering violent curses under my breath. Just as I was making my way into my room, I heard I muffled, “See you at breakfast, Weasley!”

Damn Lupin.

***

When I made it to my room, I was fuming. I threw the door open and then slammed it shut as I entered into the room. Three girls were in the room. One of them was crying profusely, another was comfortingly patting the other’s back and the last one was lying on a bed reading a magazine.

The one who was comforting the other, named Kristen looked up at me and said, “Hey, Victoire. How’d it go with Teddy?”

I rolled my eyes irritably. “It’s a wonder how his big fat head of his can balance on his tiny little body.”

“Well, he is magical, you know,” the girl on the bed, Lindsay, muttered.

Emily wailed loudly and continued to cry into Kristen’s shirt. Kristen tried to soothe Em by saying things like, ‘Teddy’s scum, he doesn’t deserve you,’ or ‘If he can’t see what a wonderful girl you are, it’s his loss.’ Lindsay just rolled her eyes.

“Did you honestly think that this relationship would last? He dumped me for goodness sakes. Why on Earth would he stay with you?” Lindsay said harshly.

I plopped myself onto my bed as Em cried louder. “Stuff it, Lindsay,” I hissed at her, “You’re just bitter that you actually got dumped by someone.”

Lindsay muttered incoherently and tossed her short brown hair over her shoulder as she flipped the page of her magazine.

Kristen sighed exasperatedly. “What did he say?” she asked.

“Nothing notable,” I said flatly. “He was just being the giant prick he’s always been.”

Em sniffed again and Kristen just patted her head. “I can’t believed he dumped me,” she sobbed, “I-I thought he actually liked me.”

“Puh-lease,” Lindsay grumbled under her breath, “He only liked your arse. You know his reputation. You knew what you were getting into.”

“Shut up,” I snapped at her over Emily’s sobbing. “Could you try to be a human being for once?”

Lindsay growled at me back. “Look. I already warned her. Kristen’s warned her. If that little baby didn’t listen to what we had to say it’s her fault. I warned her.”

“So!?” I stood up yelling again. “Just because you told her so does not meant that you get to rub it in her face! You’re being a horrible friend!”

“Well she was being a horrible friend when she didn’t listen to me!” Lindsay shouted back standing up too. Emily bawled over both of us screaming at each other. “If you wanted to be a good friend you would’ve stopped her from seeing that creep!”

I closed the distance between us, storming angrily up to her. “So, now I’m the bad friend!? I told all THREE of you that Lupin is a selfish arse that was only going to shag you then dump you! All THREE of you! I warned each and every one of you! And none of you listened to me! I know him better than all of you! I grew up with the prick! And all of you insisted that ‘he’s different now! He would never hurt me!’ Well guess what!? He hurt all of you! Like I knew he would! Because Lupin’s the same conniving jack arse that he was when we were little! And he will never change! I knew that which is why I’m the only sensible one here who hasn’t dated him!”

“Don’t try to act all noble on me!” Lindsay yelled back, “The only reason you didn’t date him was because you’re just a plain-”

“Shut up.”

“Boring-”

“Shut UP!”

“Selfish, ugly girl who has no talents whatsoever! Why would he date you!?” Lindsay cackled cruelly.

“I said, SHUT UP!” I hollered and whipped out my wand.

Kristen stood up quickly trying to get between us the second I had pulled out my wand. “Stop it! Stop it!” she shrieked planting her feet firmly on the ground. I tried to get past her and get a clear shot at Lindsay but Kristen kept getting in my way.

“You better move, Kristen,” I warned, “Otherwise, I’ll be forced to give both of you giant moles that won’t come off until your skin rots off your face!”

“Victoire! Stop it!” she glared at me. I still held my wand up aimed at Lindsay.

“Did you hear what that little bitch said about me!?” I screamed at her.

“Yes, Victoire, and I agree that that was out of line,” Kristen glared at Lindsay who was looking very proud of herself. “But Teddy’s already done enough; we don’t need to be at each other’s throats.”

I lowered my wand reluctantly. Lindsay smiled triumphantly as I put my wand away. I glowered at her.

Control yourself, Victoire. She’s only trying to grind your gears.

Lindsay continued to smirk at me with her proud cocky little smile.

Kristen lowered her arms hesitantly and backed away making sure that I wasn’t about to kill Lindsay.

Stupid smirking little bitch.

“Aw, screw it,” and I lunged at her, punching her left eye.

***

“I told you not to do anything!” Kristen yelled at me as she tried to nurse Lindsay’s black eye.

I rolled my eyes irritably. “It was only one punch!” I reasoned, “It’s not like I permanently damaged her.”

“You blackened my eye!” Lindsay shrieked indignantly.

“How am I the bad guy!?” I shouted in outrage, “Did you hear what she said to me!?”

“You punched her!”

“Only once!”

“You still punched her!”

“Yeah… well… she was being a bitch!”

“Victoire!”

“Oh, shut up.”

“I’ll never be able to walk out of this room again!” Lindsay cried dramatically. “I’m hideous! All of the guys will laugh at me!”

“They laugh at you now,” I muttered very quietly under my breath and rolled my eyes.

“Victoire!”

“Sorry, sorry.”

Kristen ran a hand through her frizzy dirty blonde hair distraughtly. “Do you see what you guys have let Teddy do to us!? He’s tearing us apart!”

“To be fair, me and Lindsay were never friends.”

“Victoire!”

“You can’t deny it!”

“Ugh!” Kristen groaned frustrated. Emily had finally stopped screaming but instead decided to crawl up onto her bed into the fetal position. She weakly sobbed into her pillow.

“Oh my God,” Lindsay said in disgust looking at Emily’s pathetic form, “Look what that prat has done to you.”

“And he’s still gonna keep doing it,” Kristen grumbled bitterly under her breath.

Lindsay grinned evilly. “Maybe he’s not going to…” she began. Her eyes widened with a menacingly gleeful look in her eye.

“That look doesn’t make me feel very comfortable,” I said, eyeing Lindsay’s mad look.

“What if we give him a taste of his own medicine?” Lindsay trailed of again.

“What are you talking about, Lindsay?” Kristen asked skeptically.

“What if one of us can break his heart?” Lindsay said with an evil smile plastered on her face.

Kristen’s face lit up as well.

“That’s perfect.”

“We can finally show him what it feels like.”

“He won’t even see it coming.”

“Brilliant!”

The two burst out in excited conversation, wickedly planning. I sat on my bed, dumbly trying to understand what was happening.

“Woah, woah, WOAH!” I interrupted. “What are you talking about!?”

Lindsay looked at me with a triumphant grin. “We’re talking about the demise of Teddy Lupin.”

To be honest, I was a little frightened. Both of them had a mad look in their eyes and were practically cackling evilly.

“We’re talking about,” Kristen continued, “Being the first ones to break the Teddy Lupin’s heart.”

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. “How are you going to do that?” I asked curiously as they continued to smile.

“One of us,” Lindsay started, “Is going to make Teddy fall for him, then dump him.”

“Oh, really?” I said interestedly, “I find it hard to believe that any girl on this universe can make Lupin fall for her.”

Kristen waved a dismissive hand, “I’ll do my research. If I find out why Teddy went out with the different girls and why he dumped them, I’m pretty confident we can create Teddy’s perfect woman.”

“One more problem,” I added, “How can one of you do that? He’s already dated all of you.”

“No…” Lindsay said with a crazed smile, “Not all of us…”

I frowned. “Yeah, he has. He’s dated you, Kristen and Emily. Who hasn’t he dated?”

Both of them looked up at me and grinned. I tilted my head at them wondering what they were thinking.

And then it all came to me.

“Oh no. No way. Hell no,” I whispered in shock. “There is no way that I’m going to… seduce Lupin! No! That’s just evil.”

“No, it’s not, Victoire,” Lindsay cut in, “What’s evil is that Teddy can just going around destroying every girl in Hogwarts! You’re one of the only ones he hasn’t gone after!”

“Oh, thanks,” I said sarcastically, “It’s really nice to know that I’m that undesirable that even the Hogwarts’ playboy won’t date me.”

“You know she didn’t mean it like that…” Kristen cut in.

“Yes, she did! Did you hear her!? I’m too plain, boring, ugly and untalented to spark his interest! This will never work!”

“Come on, Weasley!” Lindsay growled angrily. “You’re going to let Teddy do what he’s done to Emily again!”

“If it involves me doing this, then YES!”

“I knew it,” Lindsay muttered, “She is just an ugly, untalented, bitter, selfish little nobody.”

I was fuming again and was reaching for my wand.

“Shut up, Lindsay! Do you want another black eye!?” Kristen intervened quickly before I was able to do any serious damage.

“I want her to help us with this one thing. And she won’t because she’s a selfish little-”

And once again I was on my feet heading towards Lindsay with my wand pulled out. I pushed my wand against her throat.

“Do you really want to finish that sentence?” I threatened harshly.

“I think we all need to calm down!” Kristen yelled at both of us.

“You’re right, Kristen,” Lindsay said with an evil smirk, “I don’t think we should use her for this anyways. She’s not worthy enough for Teddy.”

“Not worthy?” I shrieked in outrage. I tossed my wand aside. If I was going to kill her, I was to savor the moment and do it with my bare hands. “If you say one more thing about me, I will personally take care of your black eye by ripping it out of you face!”

“Victoire, please calm down!” Kristen pleaded. I breathed deeply and folded my arms. “We really need you to do this. We need to stop Teddy.”

I looked at her sympathetically. This does seem like a good idea… And I would love to see Lupin’s face after it…

“Okay…” I said slowly, “I’m not saying yes. But, maybe I will…”

Kristen screeched excitedly and hugged me tightly. “Oh, thank you! This is going to be so awesome.”

I rolled my eyes at my friend’s spastic behavior.

“We can give you a makeover tomorrow! And we’ll teach you how to flirt with Teddy! Oh my gosh! This is going to be amazing! We’re finally going to be able to stop Teddy!”

Kristen babbled excitedly about what we were going to do. She was planning outfits, makeup and every other thing needed.

I sighed heavily.

I had a feeling it was going to be one hell of a year.

A/N: So, the other day I needed to make a reference from this chapter for one of the future chapters and I realized how any gramar mistakes there were. I also realized that I didn't really like this chapter. Apologies to anyone who liked it before but I wanted to make sure that you all understood the personalities in this story!

Also I would like to thank the lovely and talented Brooklyn from the Dark Arts who graciously created the fabulous banner that you see now ( : Many thanks!

Preview:

I really can’t explain it, but being around Lupin gives me this crazed state of mind that usually ends up in physical violence. For the third time in two days, I lunged at Lupin but this time, I punched him.

Breaking his nose.

Ha-ha. Take that one pretty boy!
