Disclaimer: I must say I’m happy that this little story is over 100 reviews. Yay me!!! Anyway, I’ll just say and get over it. Unfortunately I don’t own Harry Potter but I wish I did. I wonder if I can wish to own Harry Potter to a shooting start... kidding. Enjoy the chapter please. ^_^
After the game, Ron and Hermione didn’t go to her room because boys weren’t allowed to be in their dorms, but they went to the Room of Requirement. On the way, they would glance to each other and even give shy smiles. One thing for sure, they were blushing furiously and any person who would be on their way, their thoughts would be something like this 'What the hell is wrong with them? Why are they blushing? Are they being affected by some tampered love potion or what?'
Ten minutes later they arrived at the place where the door to the Room of Requirement would be. They gave one final glance before Ron nodded to Hermione. She took that as a 'Go on. You do it.' And she paced three times before a door appeared in front of them. Hermione looked at Ron, and walked in. Soon Ron followed her and saw he was at the Gryffindor Common Room. He looked shyly at Hermione, which she was sat at one of the couches in front of the fireplace, and walked to her. He sat closely to her and was quiet for a bit. Then he got tired of the silence and broke it.
“Hermione I...”
“Ron I...” they said their names in unison and laughed. Ron looked at Hermione in the eyes.
“You go first ‘Mione.” He said to her calmly. “R-Ron did you me-mean wh-what you said at the Common Room?” Ron looked confused for a minute before knowing what Hermione was talking about. “Yes ‘Mione. I meant it when I said I love you, because I have been feeling like this since er...”
Hermione looked anxious to know Ron’s answer. “Since when Ron?” she asked sweetly.
“Since er... since the first time we met on the train b-but I was too stupid and young to realise that and on our 4th year, I wanted to ask you to the Yule Ball but you said you were going with someone. I was so stupid! Why didn’t I realise I wanted you?! Why?” He asked shouting while pacing in the room.
Hermione looked stunned at Ron, “You wanted me to go with you?” she asked surprised. Ron looked shocked because he wasn’t ready to say some of the things he had told to Hermione.
As there was no way to deny everything he had confessed, he chose to tell her the truth.
He then looked at her. “Yes Hermione, I wanted you to come with me but I didn’t realise it until it was too late. That’s why I called Krum an enemy and also why I called him Vicky. I never wanted Lavender. It was always one girl that owned my heart.” He stated sadly, avoiding Hermione’s gaze.
“Ron? Ron, look at me. Please.” Hermione pleaded. He finally looked a t her with a scared look. She sighed, “Ron, I understand your behaviour. I hated seeing you with Lavender and it took some patience to control myself. Even then, when I saw you two snogging senseless, I always asked myself 'Why do I feel like strangling that slut with my bare hands?' At the time I didn’t want to admit it but...” Hermione said as she started to look at Ron.
He looked to her too and asked her to keep talking. “...but it was really hard Ron. It broke my heart and when I saw you two kissing.” Hermione replied, her tears were threatening to come out, but she wouldn’t have it.
Ron saw this and hugged Hermione. He hated it when it was him who made Hermione hurt. He whispered to her soothing words and ran his hands through her hair, which it wasn’t as bushy as it was when she was a small child. “Hermione, if you want, you can cry a little. I’m here for you. Do you know which witch stole my heart?” he asked her in an attempt of cheering her up. She looked at him curiously and shook her head.
“From the first time I saw this girl with a bushy hair and a look of being a little bookworm I think I fell in love with her. Do you know her?” Ron asked Hermione playfully. She thought for a few seconds and then she smiled at the thought.
She then kept playing with what Ron was saying. “Yes, in fact I happen to know her. Also, I want to know where that young boy with blue eyes and red-hair is, you know, the one who had a dirty little nose.” She said in a low voice. As Ron and Hermione talked to each other, they didn’t notice that they were moving towards one another. Ron whispered to Hermione in the same low tone she used. “That boy is right here.” She looked at those blue eyes. The eyes she became used to love.
Ron and Hermione were only centimetres away. “That girl with the bushy hair and with the look of being a bookworm is right here and she says she loves that boy she met.”
“He loves her too. Since the first time he saw her, only he was a doofus to not realise it. I love you so much Hermione.”
“I love you too Ron. Now I have one request.” Ron looked puzzled. “What is the request?” he asked her in a playfully yet serious voice. “The request is to you to shut up and kiss me, so do it!”
After Hermione said her request, Ron burst out laughing and acceded to her request. Their second kiss was electrical and magical and it was compared to a combination that was waiting to be discovered. Ron wrapped his arms around her waist and Hermione putted her hands on his face and hair. They kissed for a few minutes before they broke apart. After this, they snuggled and stayed in the Room of Requirement, sometimes talking or sometimes kissing each other senseless.
