Lily and Hermione’s plane landed around 12:00 on Saturday Afternoon. Hermione and Lily collected their luggage as soon as they got off the plane. When all their luggage was retrieved they headed to the outside of the Airport to get a taxi. When they got to the front doors and opened them, Hermione began to call for a taxi.
“How hard is it to get a Taxi around here?”, Hermione asked impatiently as she waved her hand to get the taxis’ attention.
“Mum let me help.”. Lily said and then Whistled for the next taxi heading their way.
“How on earth did you know how to do that?”, Hermione asked amazed at what her daughter did.
“In movies. I watched a lot of T.V. back home.”, Lily said and then got into the taxi.
“Right.”, Hermione said and then slid in the taxi next to Lily.
“Where to miss?”,The Taxi driver asked.
“The Rollins Hotel.”, Hermione replied. The taxi driver shook his head and began driving to their destination.
“ So have you talked Ron or your Father?”, Hermione asked.
“No I haven’t. Haley said that Dad would meet us later on since he is busy and that Ron will meet us in the Main Lobby.”, Lily said to her mum. Truth is, Haley never said anything about their dad. Their dad still had no clue on what was going on.
“Oh wonderful.”, Hermione said with a smile on her face. She was so happy that after 10 years, she was finally going to see her best friend again. She was also nervous as well. ‘ What is going to happen when Harry and I see each other again?’, Hermione kept thinking to herself all day. ‘It’s been a long time since we have seen each other. Both Harry and Ron. I miss them so much.’
“They missed you too.”, Lily said to her mum.
“I know.”, Hermione said with a sad look on her face.
“What’s wrong?”, Lily asked as she turned to face her mum who was staring out the window.
“It’s nothing.”, Hermione said still looking out the window.
“It’s about seeing Dad isn’t it?”, Lily asked knowing that was making her mum nervous. Hermione looked at her daughter for a few moments and shook her head.
“I’m kind of nervous about seeing your dad again.”, Hermione said honestly.
“ Why are you so nervous?”,Lily asked her.
“Because it has been 10 years since we spoke to each other. The last time I saw him, I ended up hurting him badly.”, Hermione said quietly as a tear rolled down her cheek.
“Mum don’t think about that. It was a long time ago. Dad has forgiven you by now. He missed you so much. Not having you around, Yes it hurt him, but he got over it. You might not be as close as you two once were, but I am sure once you see each other again you can at least start over and patch things up with one another and mend your friendship.”, Lily said as she took her mums hand in hers.
“You’re right. Maybe we can try to start over again.”, Hermione said and then gave her daughter a hug.
“Welcome to the Rollins Hotel.”, The Taxi driver announced as he pulled up into the drop-off area.
“Thank you very much.”, Hermione said and then paid the man. Once Hermione and Lily stepped inside the hotel, they began to search for their Red Haired friend.
“Lily! Over here!”, Ron called from the middle of the Lobby waving his hand for her too see him.
“Ron!”, Lily called and then ran over to him to give him a big hug.
“ It’s been ages since I last saw you.”, Ron said as he and Lily broke apart from their hug.
“ I know. It’s great to see you again. There’s someone else who would like to see you again too.”, Lily said and then pointed over towards where her mum was standing. When Ron seen Hermione , he started running towards her and scooped her up into a big hug.
“Hermione it’s so good to see you again. I missed you so much.”, Ron said as he continued to hug her.
“I’ve missed you too Ron. You haven’t changed a bit.”, Hermione said as they broke apart and looked at him.
“Neither have you.”, Ron said giving her a smile.
“ So let me got get mine and Lily’s keys to our room and I will be right back.”, Hermione said giving Ron a smile , then headed towards the Reception Desk.
“ Where’s Dad and Haley?”, Lily asked Ron in a whisper.
“ Your dad is somewhere with Miranda and Haley is upstairs with Luna and the kids.”, Ron said.
“ Dad still has no clue about anything right?”, Lily asked him.
“ No clue what so ever.”, Ron said smiling.
“ Good.”, Lily said as she let out a breath.
“Did you tell your mum about the Engagement?”, Ron asked her curiously.
“ No. That I have not told her. She still thinks dad knows about this whole arrangement.”, Lily said looking at the ground.
“ Lily, you know she is going to find out sooner or later.”, Ron said.
“ Yeah, but how am I suppose to tell her that dad is getting married and that he has no clue about us even being here? Let alone he still doesn’t know that Haley and I switched places.”, Lily had asked him.
“ I have no clue.”, Ron said.
“So you ready to go find our room?”,Hermione asked as she held up the keys.
“ Yeah sure.”, Lily said as she grabbed her bags.
“ Oh shoot. I left my purse at the Reception Desk. Ron could you take Lily upstairs to our room, Please?”, Hermione asked him as she handed Lily her key.
“ Sure. Come on Lils.”, Ron said and then took Lily to the Elevator. Hermione headed back to the Reception Desk to receive her purse. When she had retrieved her purse and started to walk back to the Elevator, She saw a man and a woman walk into an Elevator. The man had Green eyes and Raven Black hair. The woman had Dirty Blonde hair and Brown eyes. The woman had given the man a kiss and as he looked up and looked out of the Elevator, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
Standing right in front of him was the woman he had not seen in 10 years and was really shocked. The only thing Hermione could do before the elevator closed was wave and smile. When it closed, Hermione went to another elevator. When she reached her floor, she was going to get some answers for the questions she had going through her mind. Whether Lily wanted to give them to her or not.
AN: So what do you think? You like it? Someone was confused about the living arrangements. Yes, Harry does take care of Lily and Hermione takes care of Haley. Harry has no clue about was has happened at all about the switching. I hope you all have a great memorial weekend and I will be posting the next chapter next Saturday.
