Happiness filled my voice as I said 'I do' I couldn't believe that this was actually happening, that I was actually marrying him. I was barely aware of the preacher speaking when my husband fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood, a scream of horror ripped out of my throat before anyone was able to jump out of their seats. I sank to the ground and reached out to touch Blaise's face-
I awoke with a scream.
I instantly sat up straight in bed and my head began to spin as I tried to focus on the dimly lit room.
"Blaise?" My voice was hoarse, quiet.
I looked around the room nervously, discovering that he wasn't here at the moment. I took a deep breath and pulled the covers back placing my barefeet on the cold wood floor and proceeded towards the door. I reached out to grab the doorknob when it started turning and I jumped back, instantly regretting that I hadn't grabbed my wand.
A sliver of light came from the hallway as the door was opened and then his face came into view and I breathed a sigh of relief and threw my arms around him.
"Whoa, Asha. What's wrong?"
I shook my head and just listened to his heart beat a moment and then took a deep breath and pulled away, a smile on my face. "Nothing." I winked and then moved over to my closet to change. "But I think it's about time I pay someone a visit."
He stared at me in disbelief before I walked into the bathroom, changing quickly.
"Be back soon," I kissed his cheek and went skipping down the hall.
---------Hermione's POV-------
"So, have you had enough yet?"
I heard the cold voice that had once been sweet, speak to me and a small gasp escaped my lips. I dragged myself into a sitting position, looking up into her cold blue eyes. This had been what I was waiting for, the chance to talk to her. To beg her to let me go.
"Please..." I whispered, my voice barely audible, even to my own ears.
"Please?"
She raised an eyebrow and I watched her lean against the wall that was across from my cell with her ankles crossed. I realized right then that she was like an angel.
An angel of death.
Scary, yet beautiful. Evil, yet kind. The type of person who ends ones life quickly once they've decided to kill you.
I took a deep breath, trying to keep my eyes focused on her.
"Let me go." My voice was slightly stronger now, however there was a hint of desperation.
"Hmmm....." She studied me, her cold eyes taking in every aspect of my appearance. "I don't think so."
"Please...." I tried to stand up and failed. I noticed her push away from the wall and she took a step towards the stairs, her back to me. "Please.....I need him." I begged as I crawled towards the cell door.
She took another step towards the stairs. "That's not my problem."
"Please, Asha. Just listen to me, can't you....can't you understand how I feel?"
I swore I saw her pause before she took another step, however she didn't answer me. I knew I was grabbing at straws but right now I would take whatever I could get.
"What if.....what if you were in my shoes right now. What if.....what if I was keeping you from Blaise?." I asked frantically.
Asha stopped dead in her tracks less than five feet from the spiral staircase. "I'm listening." I thought I heard her say, but I couldn't be sure.
"What if you thought you would never see him again? Never hear him say I love you again?. What if.....What if you thought you'd never get to tell him how you felt?....Wouldn't you beg?" I took another breath, thankful that she hadn't walked away yet or interrupted. "Asha, please. I love him so much. I would do anything to be with him. Please, can't we.....can't we come to some sort of agreement?."
There was a long and deadly silence as I watched her. Even though I couldn't see her face, I could tell she was considering my words.
"You really do love him, don't you?." It was then that Asha turned to look at me. A very serious look on her pale face and for the first time I noticed the faint shadows under her eyes, I noticed how her once black and green hair was now jet black and perfectly straight. I took notice of how her eyes weren't just cold but they seemed to be haunted, like their was no light underneath. I almost felt sorry for her.
"Yes, I do." My hands wrapped around the steel bars and I watched her closely, trying to pick up some sign that would tell me she was giving in.
Without another word Asha left the basement, climbing up the stairs quickly with a determined air about her. A low moan escaped my lips as I realized that I probably wasn't getting out of this situation so easily.
---------------Draco's POV-----------------
As I paced the cottage, I listened to the bickering going on in the living room.
"Look, I don't like it either." Harry was saying in a voice filled with annoyance.
"Then why in the in the hell is he here?!" George hissed.
"Ugh, we've been through this!"
"Well, explain it again." Fred murmured.
"He's here because he wants to find Hermione just as bad as we do."
"I find that hard to believe." Muttered Ginny.
"You know, the entire house can hear you." I spoke for the first time as I moved from the hallway into the living room.
"Good, we want everyone to know how much of a prat you are." George retorted.
"Well, if you want to look like an idiot, then please con-" I was interrupted by a knock on the front door.
"Who in the bloody hell is that?" Ron asked even as I took a seat.
"Why don't you find out, Weasley."
"Sod off, Malfoy."
"I know your in there." A womens voice called. "And if you don't let me in, I'll kill her."
Silence filled the room before it dawned on everyone what was going on.
The moment Harry headed towards the door I moved to follow him. The instant we opened the door, we were greeted with a small smile and a relatively expressionless face.
"Hello, boys. Miss me?"
I lunged, I wasn't letting this bitch get away. If she knew where Hermione was, then I was going to find out and I was going to get her back. But right after I lunged, I fell.
"Is that anyway to treat an old friend, Draco?" I heard from behind me as I got up and turned around to discover her casually walking into the living room. Her black high-heeled leather boots clicking on the wood floor.
"Fred! George!. How's the pranking business?" A split second later I heard someone get slammed against the wall. Hurrying into the living room I discovered Asha pressed up against the wall by both Fred and George.
"Oh, fiesty today, aren't we?" A light laugh escaped her lips.
"Where's Hermione?" Harry asked from behind me.
And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart.
"Oh, she's....somewhere." Asha winked before disappearing and reappearing on the couch.
But as fast as she moved, I ended up being faster. The sound of my hand connecting with her face echoed in the room as I growled.
"Where is she?."
Can't read my,
Can't read my.
"Looks like the twins aren't the only ones who are fiesty today." She didn't even flinch when my hand connected with her cheek, and even now. She just sat there, not even bothering to rub her cheek or cuss me out. It was unnerving how calm she was.
"What about Blaise?" I whispered, studying her expression for any sign of weakness.
"What about him?"
No he can't read my poker face.
"Do you know where he is?."
"I know where alot of people are, Draco."
I continued searching her face before I threw my hands up in exasperation.
Can't read my,
Can't read my.
"Why must you be so damn calm?!" I growled in annoyance.
"Is that a serious question, or can I just pretend you didn't ask?" She raised an eyebrow at me as she titled her head to one side.
I stared at her a moment, until it hit me. She was mocking me!. Of all the people in the room, she chose to mock me. I supposed I deserved it, but then again. She deserved was about to call her too.
"You bitch."
No he can't read my poker face.
"Yes, I've been told I can be one of those."
A split second later six wands were pointed directly at her, and for once. No one seemed to mind that I was on their side.
"Quit playing games, Venable."
"I'm not playing." A wicked smile appeared on her face, and the gleam that appeared in her eyes for a split second sent a shiver down my spine. "I never play." Her voice was completely serious and her face was impassive.
P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face.
"Asha, please. Where is she?" I whispered.
"She's in the same place as Blaise." She murmured. "And if you'd lower your wands, I'd be willing to discuss this matter with you."
"Discuss?" Ginny screeched. "Our best friend has been kidnapped by you! and you want us to discuss it with you?!"
P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face.
"It's either that or I kill her."
"Mind explaining how your going to kill her from here?." Fred and George asked as they plopped down on the couch on either side of her, keeping their wands to her throat.
"I have my ways." She sent a meaningful look in my direction and I frowned.
"We had better listen to her."
I wanna roll with him a hard pair we will be.
"WHAT?!" Everyone in the room was suddenly talking at once, everyone that is except for Asha.
"What in Merlin's name is going on in here?" Professor Snape spoke as he stepped into the room causing everyone, including myself to go deathly quiet.
"Ah, Venable. It's been awhile."

A/N: Sorry I've taken so long to update. Hopefully this chapter helps to make up for it, though. Please R&R.
P.S. The song used is "Poker Face" By Lady Gaga, which is not owned by me, nor is Harry Potter. The only thing I own is the plot and Asha.
