Hermione knocked on the door of Fred and George’s apartment. For the past week she had been moving her stuff in, now was the day she was actually moving in.
“Hermione! You’re lucky you’re no later, we’re going to Ron’s bachelor party soon,” Fred said as he opened the door. Hermione frowned.
“Don’t be mean to him. And don’t try any funny pranks, either,” she scolded. Fred rolled his eyes as Hermione walked in. George walked out of the living room.
“What are you, our mother?” George asked. Hermione poked her tongue out at him.
“All right, if you’re going out later, may I please have my key? I’m going to Luna’s bachelorette party,” she said, holding out her hand. Both Fred and George starting fumbling around in their pockets. Finally, Fred held up a silver key.
“Aha! Found it!” he said. George raised his eyebrows as he held up a different key.
“Fred. You’re one is the shops key,” he said. Fred laughed.
“Right,” he said as George handed Hermione the key he was holding.
“Thank you. I’ll see you two later,” she said, and she continued walking up the hall towards the room that was now hers.

Hermione walked into the club, and found her friends.
“Hermione!” Ginny exclaimed, giving her friend a hug. Hermione smiled, hugging her, then hugging Luna. She then greeted the other girls.
“I can’t believe you moved in with Fred and George!” Ginny said after Hermione greeted everyone. All the talking stopped and all the girls heads turned towards Hermione.
“Hermione Granger living with the Weasley twins?” Lavender Brown sounded amazed.
“’Ermione, what on earth were you zinking?” Fleur demanded. Hermione shrugged.
“Well with Ron getting married tomorrow and Harry just pro…” Ginny caught her eye and stopped her, “and Harry actually having a girlfriend, I knew they were going to be moving on and leaving me behind, so I thought I should move out.” Ginny smiled at Hermione.
“Harry just pro-what?” Audrey asked. Hermione looked over at Ginny, who sighed, then nodded.
“Well, she can’t tell you, can she? It was me he proposed to!” she said impatiently. The girls then screamed leaving Hermione alone to order a drink. Luna sat next to Hermione at the bar.
“I don’t know why they dragged me here,” Luna said. Hermione smiled at her sympathetically. It was the most un-Luna thing to do. If she had it her way, they’d be looking for a Blubbering Humdinger.
“I think it was Ginny’s idea. If you want I can help you escape,” Hermione told Luna, who smiled at her, but shook her head.
“They’d never forgive either of us,” she said. Hermione agreed with a laugh. The pair sat in silence for awhile, watching their friends dance.
“Do you have a date for tomorrow?” Luna asked Hermione, who shook her head.
“No one could possibly be interested in me. I can only name two people who ever have been, Viktor, who was shot down, because of Ron, who I’m now just friends with,” Hermione said,” and I’m perfectly happy the way things are now. Maybe one day I’ll settle down, I do want a family one day. But I expect, since half the people here are married or engaged, and the other half have boyfriends, I’ll be the last to marry.”
“You just need to find the right person. Once Ronald and I were together, I knew that it would be forever. And I wanted to have a family with him. Luckily he did too,” Luna said. Hermione smiled, looking out on the dance floor.
“But how do I find the right person. You and Ron met at school, Ginny is the younger sister of Harry’s best friend, Bill and Fleur worked together, Percy and Audrey worked together, Fred and Angelina met at school, Lavender and Seamus, school, Parvati and Neville, school. I don’t work with any guys, I’ve been at school, and my best friends don’t have younger brothers,” Hermione said. Luna laughed, putting her head in her hands.
“They have older brothers,” Ginny said as she sat down on her other side, “Though I expect you don’t want to end up with a taken guy.”
“There’s Charlie and George. Plus she’s living with George. Who knows what could happen there!” Lavender said.
“’Ermione and George? Not possible,” Fleur said.
“Or Charlie either,” Audrey said, “Charlie’s only concerned with his dragons.”
“You obviously don’t like your brother-in-law,” Hermione stated. Audrey shook her head.
“No, Charlie is a nice guy. Just not someone you could settle down with and have a family,” she explained.
“The Weasleys are like my family. Why are you trying to set me up with the two guys that aren’t taken in that family?” Hermione asked angrily.
“I’m not. Urgh. I’d see that as incest,” Ginny said. Hermione laughed. She agreed with Ginny. It wouldn’t actually be incest, but she saw the Weasleys as her family, and being with any one of them would be like that.
AN~ Hehehe, this is building up the problems later...the story hasn't really started yet. The next chapter will probably be Luna and Ron's wedding. And then the actual story will start. This is just an introduction into the story, setting it all up. Duh.
