"Sirius." Emmeline said who was curled up into his side.

"Hmm?"

"Are you eating again?"

"Maybe." Sirius replied after he swallowed the food in his mouth.

Emmeline sighed and rolled over so she was on her stomach, "Why?"

"Because I'm hungry. You drained all the energy I had in me, love."

Emmeline laughed, "Must you eat in your bed though?"

"Where else am I supposed to eat?" Sirius asked.

"On the floor?" Emmeline replied looking up it him.

Sirius sighed. "If that's what you want." he replied as he got off of his bed and stood on the side of it. "Happy?"

"No come back I'm cold. You can eat in your own bed. It is yours after all and I shouldn't tell you what to do." Emmeline replied sitting up and pulling his sheet with her.

Sirius chuckled. "Will you make up your mind?" he asked sarcastically as he slid back under the sheets.

"I'm a girl, Sirius. I don't know how to make up my mind." Emmeline replied wrapping her arms around his middle.

Sirius snorted. "Okay love."

“Oy, be nice.”

"What?" Sirius asked with a mouthful of apple.

Emmeline rolled her eyes, "Do you eat anything other then apples?"

"Is it safe to come in now? I would really like to get some sleep." Remus asked from the other side of the door.

"Yes Moony." Sirius shouted. "I do eat other things. Apples just fit into the drawer in my night stand."

Emmeline sighed and curled into him, "Night Remus, night Sirius."

"Goodnight love." Sirius replied before taking another bite out of his apple.

 "Night Emmeline." Remus said.

"Moony, do you know where Prongs went?" Sirius asked.

"I saw him and Raine leave earlier, they haven't come back yet." Remus replied.

"Really?" Sirius replied shocked. "But, tomorrow is a lesson day. Raine would've forced him to come back by now."

"Well I don't think they had the map or the cloak." Remus said walking over to his dresser, pulling out some flannel pajama pants, and taking off his shirt.

"Where do you think they went?" Sirius asked.

"Give me a minute and I'll check the map." Remus replied pulling on the pajama pants.

"Alright." Sirius said while finishing his apple and then tossing it in the bin next to his nightstand.

"Where is the map?" Remus asked.

"I don't know. I thought you put it away when we got back from the Room of Requirement." Sirius replied.

"I'll check James' trunk." Remus stated walking over to it.

“Okay.”

"Found it." Remus replied looking over it.

"Good, you almost gave me a fright. Thought Raine might've stolen it."

Remus chuckled, "I can't seem to find them."

"What do you mean? Are they in the Room of Requirement?" Sirius asked.

"I think so, it's disappeared as well."

"Hmm. Oh well, they'll show up for breakfast." Sirius said.

"Yeah." Remus replied putting the map back and climbing into his own bed.

"Good night Moony. Wait. Where's Wormtail?"

"He said he would be in a little bit. He's finishing up some homework some teacher gave him to save his grade. Night Padfoot." Remus replied.

"Okay. Night Moony." Sirius said before lying down in his bed and immediately falling asleep.

"Padfoot get up!" Remus yelled walking out of the bathroom dressed in his pants for school.

Sirius jumped. "What? What happened?" he shouted. Emmeline jumped awake as well. "Oh, sorry love." Sirius said, "Why don't you go get ready for school?" Emmeline nodded her head, got her clothes on and went to get ready for school. "Jez Moony, why must you scare me like that?"

"Because I can now go get ready or you'll make everyone late." Remus replied.

"Have you heard from Prongs or Raine?" Sirius asked before getting on all his school clothes.

"Nope." Remus replied grabbing his school bag.

"What time is it?" Sirius asked while grabbing his school bag as well and walking towards the door.

Remus looked down at his watch, "8:30 better hope they got ready there."

"Yep. Let's go get some breakfast." Sirius said as they both walked down stairs.

Dorcas, Emmeline, and Lily where sitting on one of the couches.

"Good morning ladies! Shall we go to breakfast?" Sirius asked.

"Where's Raine? And James?" Dorcas asked walking over to Remus.

"Yep." Emmeline replied standing up.

"We aren't completely sure." Sirius replied. “I think they'll meet us in the Great Hall."

"They'd better." Emmeline replied.

The group walked into the Great Hall and saw that Sirius was right; Raine and James were in the Great Hall eating breakfast. "Oh, good morning everyone!" Raine said cheerfully as Dorcas, Remus, Lily, Sirius, and Emmeline walked over to where her and James were sitting.

"Where were you two last night? And why the bloody hell are you so chipper?" Emmeline asked sitting down next to Sirius.

"Why are you in such a sour mood?" Raine asked.

"I'm tired." Emmeline replied, "And we have classes today."

"So? I can tell, today is going to be a good day." Raine said before giving James a peck on the cheek.

"Why? And you never answered my question." Emmeline replied before taking a sip of her chocolate milk.

"I don't know. I just have a feeling that it's going to be a good day!" Raine said while pouring herself a cup of coffee. "Finally! Some coffee!" Raine said excitedly.

"Eww." Everyone said.

"What?" she asked.

“Coffee.”

"Yum. Coffee." Raine said before taking a giant gulp of her coffee.

"Chocolate Milk! Yum!" Emmeline replied.

Raine rolled her eyes. "I guess that's okay if you're five."

"My girlfriend is not five." Sirius argued, "And I like chocolate milk."

"You, like milk? I would've never thought." Raine said before eating some eggs.

Sirius rolled his eyes. "You never answered my question. Where were you last night?" Emmeline demanded.

"In a room with four walls and a roof." Raine replied.

"No shite." Emmeline snapped, "Where was this place with four walls and a roof?"

"In the castle silly!" Raine replied before giving James the rest of her eggs.

Emmeline glared at her, "Where in the castle, not the floor, or the wing, where.”

"I'm not precisely sure. Sirius and Remus know though!" Raine replied. "Why is it so important?"

"Because the rest of us want to know where you were and what you were doing?" Emmeline said.

"We were sleeping." James said.

"Where! I want to know what the bloody hell is going on." Emmeline yelled.

James rolled his eyes. "Just forget it Emmeline. We'll tell you once you're out of this mood."

Emmeline glared at him, "I'm going back to the dorm."

"Jez, what's your problem Em?" Raine asked.

Emmeline glared at her before leaving the great hall.

"I guess I'll be right back." Sirius replied.

"Well, maybe I was wrong about today." Raine said.

"She'll be alright." Marlene replied, "Just ignore her."

"Em slow down." Sirius called out trying to catch up with his girlfriend.

"No." She called back.

"Em what is wrong?" Sirius asked.

"Nothing. I'm sorry it's..."

"What is it?"

Emmeline sighed, "I don't think you really want to know."

"No, tell me. What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong exactly."

"What do I really not want to know?"

Emmeline placed her head against his chest, "It's nothing to worry about I swear."

"Emmeline, tell me." Sirius said as he rubbed her back in slow circular motions.

"I'm just a little moody right now. It's almost that time for me." Emmeline replied her face still against his chest her arms wrapped around him.

"Oh!" Sirius exclaimed. "Okay. It's okay. Why did you snap at Raine and James back there?" he questioned.

"Well their hiding something and because I can't exactly control my emotions right now. I didn't mean to." Emmeline replied.

"Well, you hide a lot of things from them." Sirius pointed out. "Let's go back in the Great Hall. I'm still hungry."

Emmeline sighed, "You go. I just want to go curl up in my bed right now."

"Are you sure?" Sirius asked.

"Yeah. If I come to classes today it'll be after lunch. I'll see you then, alright."

"Okay." Sirius replied before giving Emmeline a kiss on the forehead. "I hope you feel better."

"Thanks, and I'll tell them I'm sorry during lunch." Emmeline replied leaning up and kissing him lightly.

"Alright." Sirius said before turning around to go back into the Great Hall. "Emmeline?"

"Yes Sirius?"

"You look beautiful today." Sirius smiled.

Emmeline grinned, "Thanks and you look particularly handsome today." Emmeline replied walking over to him.

"Oh do I now?" he asked. "You know, I try so hard to look this good. Just for you." he said smoothly before leaning down and kissing her gently

Emmeline kissed him back, "You don't really want to go to classes today do you?"

"But, I have too. If I don't it's an extra fifty laps at practice. Sorry love." Sirius replied.

Emmeline pouted, "But this could be the last time, for a week or more."

"I know love. I'm sorry. I can't afford to be in more trouble with Wood than I already am. How about we do things tonight?"

"I don't know if I can." Emmeline said.

Sirius sighed, "Then I guess I'll have to wait a week. I'm sorry."

Emmeline pouted again, "Couldn't I just talk to him?"

"You could try. I doubt it would work though." Sirius said while kissing her forehead again.

"But you'll only being missing your morning classes."

"I know, it's an extra fifty laps if you miss half a day. It's one hundred extra laps if you skip a full day of classes."

"How would he know anyways?”

"He has the Prewetts. They're training to be Aurors and they can tell when someone is lying." Sirius replied.

"My older brother is an Auror and I can lie to him without a problem." Emmeline replied leaning up to kiss him.

Sirius laughed. "I bet you can but I can't. They ask me, not you." Sirius said before he kissed her.

"But Sirius..." Emmeline whined.

"I know love. I just can't take the risk. I'm sorry."

Emmeline pouted again, "Alright go back to breakfast before you don't get anymore. I'm sorry for teasing you then."

Sirius sighed. "Alright. It's fine. I'll see you at lunch then, okay?"

"Yeah go, you're going to need to go to classes soon." Emmeline replied kissing him again before pulling out of his arms.

Sirius turned around and went back into the Great Hall.

 "What's wrong?" Raine asked.

"Bloody stupid Caine." Sirius said grabbing some more food.

Already?" Raine asked.

“Already what?”

"Caine's already pissed you off?"

"Yes and he's stupid extra laps for missing classes.”

"I know. I'm sorry. Maybe we can use that thing in your trunk on him today at practice." she suggested.

"No because then we'll have to do all of the laps I would have to do if I missed classes and then some." Sirius replied.

"Come on we should be heading off to class." Remus said standing up.

"Alright. Never mind. I was going to say put it in his personal bathroom. But, never mind. Come on James." Raine stood up and held out her hand for James to hold.

James looked up, "Oh time to go already?" He asked standing up and grabbing her hand.

"I suppose. What's our first class again?" Raine questioned.

"Ancient Runes." James replied.

"You two are dating again aren't you?" Sirius asked.

Raine smiled, “And what would give you that silly idea?”

"The fact that you're holding hands." Sirius replied.

"So? We could’ve accidentally glued out hands together."

"No because I saw you hold out your hand for him." Sirius said grinning.

Raine smiled. "Sirius, you can read us like a Quidditch magazine can't you?"

Sirius rolled his eyes, "Actually it could be because you guys are both grinning so hard, and James actually looks happy."

"Really? I hadn't noticed..." Raine replied as James blushed a little. "What class are you going to, Sirius?"

"Same as you smartie pants." Sirius replied.

"Oh. I forgot. What was wrong with Emmeline?"

"Nothing really just stuff she can't help. She said she's going to apologize over lunch and right now she's curled up in her bed." Sirius said.

"Oh, I know what the problem is." Raine said. "What's wrong with you James? You haven't spoken since everyone came in for breakfast."

"Yeah." Sirius replied.

"Nothing. I just haven't felt like talking." James replied.

"Why not? You didn't talk a lot last night either." Raine stated with a smirk on her face.

"I didn't want to talk last night." James replied kissing her forehead before entering their classroom.

Raine rolled her eyes. "I'm beginning to think you're going soft again Potter." Raine stated. "What do you think Senor Padfoot?"

"I think so to Raine. We should give you a nickname you hang out with us way to much to not have one." Sirius replied dropping down into seat next James flicking his black hair out of his eyes.

"Well, what do you think it should be?" Raine asked while sitting down on the other side of James.

"Well have to think about it. If you were to become an animal which one do you think it would be?" Sirius asked.

"I like dragons and unicorns. I love pixies and fairies too, even though they aren't animals." Raine replied.

Sirius looked around and then looked at James. Raine could have sworn they were having conversation in their heads.  "Raine have you ever thought about become an Animagus?" James asked.

"Not really. Well, I mean, who hasn't thought about it? It would be bloody wicked if you could." Raine replied. "Why?"

"No reason just asking." James replied before pulling out some parchment to start today’s translations.

Raine sighed. "Alright." she said before also taking out a piece of parchment and starting on the translation as well.

"What's with the sigh de Luca?" Sirius asked before stealing James parchment.

"Nothing. I just don't want to do these things." Raine replied while pointing up at the board.

"Why not I'm almost done." Sirius replied.

“That's because you're copying James' paper." Raine stated.

"I am not! I'm good at these and they should be nothing for you Miss. I-can-speak-more-languages-then-most-people-combined."

Raine rolled her eyes. "Then you won't mind if I take this piece of parchment will you?" Raine said as she snatched James' paper from Sirius.

"Oy! I said I wasn't copying him I stole his parchment because I didn't feel like getting any out and if you hadn't noticed James has already started walking on a new piece of parchment." Sirius exclaimed.

Raine sighed and balled up the parchment and threw it at Sirius. "Sorry then." Raine said as she started working on her translations.

"Oy! That was my paper!"

"Technically it was James' paper."

"Will you two shut up." James demanded.

"Yes love." Raine said before she stuck her tongue out at Sirius.

"Stop it now."  James said, "I'm trying to work on unlike you two I have trouble in this class because I can only speak English."

"You know some Italian!" Raine protested.

"I know yes, no, please, thank you, and you're welcome. In French and Italian. That doesn't help when it comes to this class."

"Lo siento mi amor. Le enseZaré más si usted desea." Raine said in Spanish.

"I don't now Spanish." James snapped.

"I'm sorry love. I'll teach you more if you want." Raine translated.

"I want you two to shut up so I can work."

Raine looked down at her paper and continued working on her translations. When she finished she looked up and saw James and Sirius staring at her. "What? I didn't take that long did I?" Raine asked.

"Nope, Professor Babbling asked you a question." Sirius replied.

Raine looked up at her Professor. "Oh, I'm sorry Professor. What was that?" Raine asked.

"I asked you what the second line said." Professor Babbling replied.

"I don't know if it's right..." Raine said.

"What did you translate it to?'

"Umm." Raine hesitated. "Egypt has had only two magical attacks since the eighteen hundreds?"

"Yes Ms. de Luca I don't know why you doubt yourself you're one of my best students. Mr. Black what does the next line say?" Professor Babbling asked.

Raine looked down at her paper. "Thanks." she mumbled to herself as Sirius told the class his answer.

"Oy. What's up?" James whispered to her.

"Nothing. I don't like to be called upon in classes." Raine replied.

"Why not? You have the highest grade in this class."

"So? I just don't like it." Raine replied. "All the Professors seem to only call on me."

"That's not true..."

"Mr. Potter what does the sixth line say?" Professor Babbling asked.

"Umm... Something about the Egyptian god of war."

Raine rolled her eyes. "It says Professor, that the Egyptian God of War was most likely the only cause for the wars the Egyptians had." Raine replied.

"That's correct Ms. de Luca. Mr. Potter you would do well to study more."

Raine stifled a laugh and looked at James, "Maybe you should study more. We don't want you lagging behind the rest of the class."

James glared at her.

"Alright I want everyone to translate pages 194-212 in your book on Egypt. Due Wednesday."

There were groans and mumbles heard all around the room. "I'll help you James." Raine told him as she packed up her books.

"I don't need your help." James replied putting his stuff away before tossing his bag over his shoulder and walking out of the class.

Raine sighed, "What did I do now?" she asked Sirius.

"You made him feel dumb." Sirius replied grabbing some of the stuff James left out, “Time for history of magic."

Raine groaned. "He does that to me all the time."

"He's a guy and you hurt his ego." Sirius replied, "He'll get over it don't worry."

"I sure hope so..." Raine said while walking with Sirius to their History of Magic classroom. When they arrived they saw James already starting on today's assignment. "I don't think he'll be getting over it anytime soon, Sirius. He never does his work in this class."

"He'll be fine I promise come on." Sirius said pulling her in and pushing her down into the seat next to James and he went and sat next to Remus.

Raine sighed, "I'm sorry James,” she said while getting out her book, parchment, ink, and a quill.

James just nodded before going back to work.

"James, I didn't mean it. I was just playing around." Raine stated while starting on her assignment.

"I know," he replied.

Raine didn't say anything and continued her work. James rolled his eyes and continued his assignment while their Professor kept talking. After Raine finished her work she looked to where Sirius and Remus were sitting and mouthed ‘He's not talking. Told you he won't get over it.'

Sirius rolled his eyes and turned around, "Prongs?"

"Hmm?" James replied while Raine just put her head down on the desk.

"You’re not still mad at her are you?"

"No. Why?" he asked.

"She thinks so. Talk to her."

"I'm trying to do my work." James stated.

"You never do your work in this class, Prongs."

"I need to start. Exams are coming up."

"They're only our owls. Nothing to worry about." Sirius stated.

Raine lifted up her head and snorted. "Nothing to worry about? Are you barking?" she asked.

"Nope, I don't care about them I'm going to how I do on them and I can't change that."

"So, when you end up a bum in Diagon Alley I'll be sure to say hello." Raine said.

"I won't be a bum in Diagon alley I'll be bum in James' house."

"I'm so sure Mrs. Potter will allow that." Raine said sarcastically.

"How do you know?"

"She doesn't even like me coming down stairs in pajamas. What makes you think she'll let you come down stairs in the same clothes you've worn for a week?"

"James shouldn't still be living with his parents Raine, and if he is it doesn't matter. They love me more then you."

"That's why I get weekly letters from them and you don't."

"Nope I get one every other day."

"You do not." Raine said. "I check your mail before you even get it."

"He does Raine, and my mum sends him a care package every week." James stated.

"What?" Raine asked, shocked. "Well, James loves me more than he loves you, Sirius."

"I don't know about that." Sirius replied smirking.

"He does love me more." Raine said. "Why do you think he never gives you hugs?"

"He does too. Just not when you are around. We were trying to hide that."

Raine laughed as she packed up her supplies. She stood up and turned in her assignment and walked back to where she was sitting, "Really? James, how long has this been going on?"

James chuckled, "We're not aloud to say you'll have to ask Moony." James grabbed Sirius paper and Remus' as well as his own and turned them in.

"Remy? How long?"

"How long what?" Remus asked.

"How long have you three had this love circle that's full of 'manly' hugs?"

Remus chuckled as well, "That's confidential Raine."

Raine pouted. "Fine, I was going to tell you how long Emmeline, Lily, Marlene, Dorcas, and myself have had a love circle of our own. One that's full of random pillow fights in which we wear nothing but our lingerie... But, never mind."

"That's okay. We don't care how long it's been going on as long as we can watch sometime." Sirius replied walking out of the classroom and towards their last class before lunch Potions.

Raine rolled her eyes, "Well, I think I'll cancel tonight's session on account of secrets being kept from me and Quidditch Practice." she said as she grabbed her stuff and followed Sirius.

“That's okay we can't let you know how we found out to get up the girls' stairs anyway." James replied wrapping an arm around her waist.

"I could've told you. All you need to do is get some one to levitate you up the stairs. Duh. I thought you guys would've figured that out before second year." Raine stated.

"We did see but we found an easier way." Remus replied his arm around Dorcas.

"Well, what is it then?" Raine asked.

"We can't tell you that." Sirius replied opening the door to potions.

"Fine." Raine said as she removed herself from James' grasp. "See you guys after class." she finished before sat down at the front of the class.

"She's a weird one." Sirius replied as he and James sat in the back. Remus and Peter sat in front of them and Dorcas went and joined Raine.

"Hey Dorcas." Raine said. "Why aren't you sitting with Remus?"

"Because he's always worked with Peter in potions." Dorcas replied.

"Oh." Raine said as she looked behind around the room and waved at Peter. "Why? You are obviously the better-looking one. By far."

"How else do you think Peter is still in this class? And they’re friends." Dorcas replied laughing.

"Well, I'm glad you're my partner. I'd hate to work with Peter. He kind of reminds me of a rat. I don't know why though." Raine stated.

Dorcas laughed, "I know what you mean. Oh isn’t that cute Nate and Lily are working together?"

Raine smirked. "Would you mind if I said something to them?"

"Go for it." Dorcas said pulling out her Potions book.

"Aww! Isn’t that so cute? Lily Evans and Nathaniel Beauchamp working together on a potion! Professor Slughorn, I'd watch out for them. They might start snogging in the middle of class." Raine practically yelled.

Lily blushed bright red and Nate glared at her, " Well if we did it would be like that time you and James did in History of Magic."

"Ah, but we were in the back of the class. You two are in the middle. Completely different." Raine replied coolly.

"Nope." Nate replied pulling out his caldron.

Raine turned around to face the front of the class. "Dang. It only embarrassed Lily. Why is it so hard to embarrass Nate these days?" she asked Dorcas.

"Because he grew up with you?" Dorcas said.

"So?" Raine asked while pulling out all of her supplies. "He still embarrasses me a lot."

"He doesn't care what other people think."

"I don't either." Raine stated.

"Then you wouldn't get embarrassed." Dorcas stated as she started on the potion.

Raine rolled her eyes and started helping Dorcas with their potion. "So, how are you and Remus?" she asked out of the blue.

"We're okay. I think he's hiding some thing though." Dorcas replied.

"What do you mean?"

"He acts weird some times. I asked him about their nicknames and he wouldn't tell me."

"You know. They offered to give me a nickname today in Ancient Runes." Raine said. "I've always wanted to know about their nicknames. They're kind of weird. Like Wormtail? Come on. There are about a million other better nick names."

"I know and he won't tell me."

"I'll ask James and Sirius at lunch today." Raine replied. "Oh, we're almost done. All the instructions say to do now is stir four times clockwise and immediately put it in a vial."

"Okay well I don't think they're going to tell you." Dorcas replied.

"There's always hope." Raine said while putting a vial under the ladle Dorcas had in her hand. Once the entire potion was in a vial, the girls put a cork in the top and then Raine got up and put it on Slughorn's desk.

Raine walked back to the desk her and Dorcas share and packed her stuff up. "Want to walk with me to lunch?" she asked Dorcas.

"Yeah sure." Dorcas replied grabbing her bag.

The girls walked past the Marauders and went into the hallway. "If we walk fast it'll seem like we're up to something." Raine said. "Want to walk faster. Maybe we could keep 'secrets' from them, like they do with us."

"No Raine, that's immature." Dorcas replied as the Marauders caught up with them.

Sirius grinned wickedly grabbed Raine and tossed her over his shoulder, "If you want your girlfriend back James you'll have to come and get her."

"Put me down Sirius Black!" Rain shouted.

"No." Sirius replied jogging up the stairs James following.

"James! Save me!" Raine shouted.

"I'm coming." James replied jogging after them.

"Faster James!" Raine said as she held out her hand for James.

James groaned flicked his wand and Sirius froze in tracks, "I believe your girlfriend is over there." James replied pulling Raine off Sirius and pointing to Emmeline.

"Thank you James!" Raine said as she gave James a kiss on his cheek.

 "Hi Sirius." Emmeline said softly.

"Hey Emmeline." Sirius replied kissing her cheek. Emmeline wrapped her arms around him and kissed him lightly.

"Would you guys like to continue your snogging session in the Great Hall? I'm starving!" Raine said.

Emmeline rolled her eyes, "I'm sorry about yelling at you guys earlier, but you can go in without us."

"Can't you go twenty-four hours with out shagging?" Raine asked. "Oh, I'm sorry for the way I acted this morning. I should've told you. But, I'm not sure James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter would want me to tell you."

“Would want you to tell me what?” Emmeline asked turning around to face her Sirius’ arms still around her waist.

"Where we were last night." Raine replied

"And you were where exactly?” Emmeline asked.

"I don't know if I can tell you."

“And why not?”

They didn't even want me to know. I found out because of Gideon." Raine stated.

“Oh I know what you’re talking about.” Emmeline replied.

"Not uhh!" Raine said childishly.

Emmeline rolled her eyes, as did Sirius. "Okay then Raine."

Raine smiled. "You never answered my question though."

“What question…”

"Can't you two go twenty four hours with out shagging?"

"Nope." Emmeline stated grinning.

Raine rolled her eyes and headed toward the Great Hall. "Alright. But, make sure Sirius has enough apples in his bedside table." she yelled.

Emmeline glared at Raine lightly who laughed and pulling James into the great hall.

“Sirius…” Emmeline said turning back around.

“Yes?” Sirius asked.

“Come on.” Emmeline replied pulling out of his arms and grabbing his hand pulling him up the stairs. Sirius smiled as he allowed Emmeline to lead him upstairs. "Can't get enough of me, eh?" he asked.

"Of course not, Sirius." Emmeline stated stopping outside the door to the Marauders' dorm.

"Well, open the door." Sirius demanded.

Emmeline smirked, "Can't wait?" she ran her fingers through his hair.

"Nope." Sirius said as he reached behind Emmeline and grabbed the doorknob and turned it before pushing her through the door.
