In the middle of the night Isabella began kicking, and almost yelling. Waking Sirius up, he held on to her tight.
“Shh… its okay.” He said, trying to call her down.
“No…please don’t” She cried, tears running down her cheeks, but she was still asleep.
Morgan was fighting back, screaming in pain as who ever it was dragged her. She looked up at the castle, towards the common room she had now only wished she’d gone to. She screamed again, the person still hadn’t looked down at her. She cried out.
“Shut up!” He yelled, going to kick her, she squirmed just enough for it miss. She coughed, this was getting to be too much. She screamed again, the figure picked her up, her arm around her neck.
“Try to scream again…” He threatened she kicked back with her foot, but missed.
“Naive little girl, there’s nothing you can do.” He said, she could feel herself losing air. Morgan tried to scream, but nothing came out. It was horrible, her throat and lungs were on fire. She felt herself being dropped to the ground. Her vision began to blur, but before she closed her eyes she say the face of the one and only Rudolph Lestrange.
Isabella screamed, her eyes shooting open. Sirius was there hold her, trying to clam her down. She looked at him, her lip was quivering. Sirius looked at her, still holding her tight.
“It was only a dream.” He whispered Isabella sat there shaking her head.
“If only it was.” She murmured. Sirius looked at her, their gaze meet.
“It was a memory?” He asked, Isabella nodded before tears starting falling again. She rested her head against his chest.
“Rudolph Lestrange…” She muttered. Sirius looked at her rather confused.
“What about him?” Sirius asked.
“He was the one…he took her away. He took me away.” She said. Sirius tensed up.
“That slimy no good bastard.” Sirius said, Isabella couldn’t help but smile.
“It was him…I saw…in that dream…Sirius you what that means?” She asked.
“That now I actually have a reason to beat him up.” Sirius said.
“Well…not only that but, only Morgan would remember that. I am her.” Isabella said. Sirius smiled, before hugging her tightly.
“Nice to have you back Mor.” He said, she giggled.
“What about James?” She asked, looking at him with nervous eyes. Sirius held her close.
“Talk to mum first, then James. Mum will know if you are truly her, better for her to see.” Sirius said, Isabella nodded, before again closing her eyes. She fell asleep on Sirius’s chest again, and slept through the rest of the night peacefully.
The sun was shining through the window, and the air smelled of waffles. When Isabella woke up she noticed Sirius wasn’t there, he wasn’t even in the room. But when she smelled the waffles she knew exactly where he was. She stood up and stretched before looking at herself in the mirror. Which was awkwardly placed in Sirius’ room, her hair was longer then when this whole thing had started dark brown, her soft brown eyes looked troubled. She was still skinny, but more muscular, she was toned. She stood there for a second before hearing the door open behind her. She turned around quickly and saw Sirius standing there, with a smirk on his face. She gaze went from him to the floor. Sirius walked up behind her, putting his arms around her waist, protectively and yet lovingly. She turned so she was looking in the mirror again, she could see his reflection too. She rested her hand on his, and looked into the mirror.
“Morgan…” Sirius mumbled in her ear. She shivered as his breathe grazed her ear.
“Sirius…” She replied softly. Her eyes meet his in their reflection. Morgan would let Sirius hold her this close, Isabella wouldn’t. Morgan would be brave enough to ride that broom, Isabella would sit in the stands watching. Who knew that Isabella and Morgan would be so different? She sighed quietly. Sirius held her tighter.
“James…what will he say?” She asked suddenly. Sirius looked at her, her eyes said nervous.
“It’s going to take him a while to accept it.” Sirius said.
“But he will realize it, and I’ll be there with you, if you want me to of course.” He added. Isabella nodded, taking one of his hands in hers.
“I’d like that.” She said Sirius smiled and pulled her away from the mirror. She struggled, trying to get away.
“Sirius!” She shrieked.
“No more mirror for you! it’s mine!!!” Sirius said, Isabella couldn’t help but giggled. She tried pulling away again.
“Well we’re a little conceded?”
“Yes we are.” Sirius answered letting her go. She was stilling holding his hand. Isabella blushed. Sirius spun her around and back into his arms. Isabella giggled.
“Sirius?” She said, he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
“Please let me go I have to pee.” She said, smiling. Sirius rolled his eyes letting her go. She stuck her tongue out at him, before running into the bathroom. Sirius ran after her, catching the door before she could close it.
“Sirius!” She shouted, trying to push it closed, but he was to strong. She sighed, backing away, the door flew open, sending Sirius to the floor. Isabella burst out laughing. Sirius smirked, standing up and picking her up into his arms. She gasped.
“I have to go!” She said, Sirius shook his head.
“Nope, not anymore.” He said, she kicked trying to get him to put her down. He sat her on the bed, before tackling her, pinning her shoulders down. Isabella pouted, trying to make herself look upset. Sirius laughed at her.
“What is someone to weak?” He joked, Isabella struggled again. Trying to get herself out of his grip, it was hard, but she could get it to move. She smirked. He lifted one of his hands off her shoulder. And began to tickle her, she giggled with out thinking. Her eyes meet his, he looked at her playfully.
“Stop….Sirius…Please.” She gasped. Sirius kept going, she tried to grab his hand, but failed. Sirius began laughing.
“Sirius….” She said, her eyes tearing from laughing. Isabella coughed and held her stomach. Sirius stopped, looking at her sadly.
“Mor…are you okay?” He asked, and she jumped pushing him to the floor with her on top of him. She laughed evilly.
“Hmm…looks like your in trouble now.” She said, Sirius rolled his eyes and began to try to roll over. Isabella held on the rug.
“No!” She said, Sirius laughed grabbing her shoulders and pulling her down into a kiss. At first she didn’t do anything, her brain melted through her ears. Sirius pulled away, Isabella sat there, her legs straddling his stomach. Her eyes moved from straight ahead to Sirius and back again. Sirius looked confused, and almost hurt. ‘That was stupid Black, nice going.’ He thought, sitting up causing Isabella to slide into his lap. She looked at him, before moving her lips back to his, kissing him softly. Sirius smirked to himself, before kissing her back. Isabella smiled against his lips, before pulling away.
“I win…” She muttered, Sirius flipped them over and smiled down at her.
“Keep thinking that.” He said, she giggled and her stomach growled. Causing both of them to burst out laughing even more.
“No not at all.” Isabella said sarcastically. She pushed Sirius off her, and stood up. Still wearing a pair of Sirius’s boxers and one of his shirts, he looked at her from the floor where he sat.
“Shall I escort this beautiful young lady to breakfast?” Sirius said, standing up and extending his arm out to her. She looked at it then up to him.
“Well…a lot have other people have asked…but I think it’ll be ok.” She said, connecting her arm with his. She smiled as they left the room and walked down to the kitchen. Once there Sirius pulled out the chair for her to sit in. Isabella curtsied and sat down. James looked at her confused, then looked at Sirius.
“Isabella?” James said.
“Yes…” She said simply. She had liked when Sirius had called her Morgan, but James didn’t know that. She only wished she could tell her. She was Morgan it was easy as that. But first she had to talk to Mrs. Potter. James still looked confused.
“Why are you in my house?”
“Cause Sirius invited me, and if I stay I think Lily might visit once or twice.” James’s face brightened.
“Smooth Prongs.” Sirius said, laughing at the expression on his friends face. Isabella couldn’t help but laugh too. James blushed lightly, and Mrs. Potter came into the room.
“Hello Ms. Isabella how did you sleep?” She asked.
“Fine thank you.” Isabella answered. Sirius snickered, and she kicked him in the shin.
“Ouch.” He muttered, Isabella laughed before taking a small stack of pancakes and putting them on her plate. James looked at her, Sirius laughed.
“”That’s a lot for a little girl to eat.” He said, Mrs. Potter hit him on the back side of his head.
“Leave the girl alone.” She said, James laughed along with Isabella. She stuck her tongue at him, without swallowing her food.
“Eww…ok Martin when you’re not at school your actually cool.” James said, Isabella raised an eyebrow, Sirius tried not to laugh.
“You’re not so bad either James, but I must say you forgot that I’m always awesome.” She said, Sirius almost choked from laughing.
“Keep dreaming Martin.” James said smirking. Isabella rolled her eyes.
“Ha…yeah right, you know I’m awesome buddy.” She said, stabbing another pancake before putting it in her mouth.
“Noo…I’m the most awesome here.” Sirius said. Isabella hit him, smiling slightly. James just kept eating. Isabella leaned back in her chair, putting her hands on her stomach. The two boys looked at her, almost laughing.
“To much food?” Sirius asked. She nodded, groaning, her stomach felt like it was going to explode.
“Told you it was too much food.” James said, Isabella glared at him, almost tempted to flip him off. James made an expression that he was hurt, before they all began laughing. Isabella hit him playfully, before laying her head on the table.
“I feel sick.” She groaned. Sirius patted her back with sympathy. James chuckled, before eating the food Isabella hadn’t. Isabella groaned again, before looking at James.
“How are you still eating?” She asked shocked but yet not very surprised. Sirius started laughing, along with James, Isabella looked at them both, confused.
“I will, never understand you guys.” She said, shaking her head, and standing up. Sirius looked at her.
“Where are you going?” He asked. Isabella looked at him, and smirked.
“To help Mrs. Potter clean up, because she obviously had a lot to do.” She said simply before turning on her heel and walking into the kitchen. Sirius shrugged and began talking to James about the latest Quidditch game.
Isabella walked into the kitchen rather slowly, she knew that Sirius wanted her to talk to Mrs. Potter, but she also knew that she would have to bring it up. Which would be harder then she thought.
“Mrs. Potter?” She asked, Mrs. Potter turned around, she had been washing dishes but was now standing there drying her hands.
“Yes dear?” Mrs. Potter said, Isabella smiled Mrs. Potter didn’t sound annoyed or anything.
“I was wondering if you needed help with anything.” She said, hearing the boys crack up in the dining room. Mrs. Potter rolled her eyes at them, before looking back at Isabella.
“Would you mind washing the dishes? I’m going to go get the plates from the boys.” Mrs. Potter said, Isabella nodded and walked over to the sink.
“I highly doubt they are done eating.” She said. Mrs. Potter chuckled.
“They would never be done if I didn’t stop them.” Isabella laughed, almost blushing. Mrs. Potter was acting so motherly, and loving. And she hardly knew her. Mrs. Potter smiled, and walked to go clean. Isabella stood there, before going and doing the dishes.
“We’re playing Qudditch!” James yelled. Isabella giggled to herself.
“Don’t get to messy.” Mrs. Potter said, before coming into the kitchen and putting some of the dishes into the sink. Isabella looked down at the dishes, before feeling a hand on her shoulder; she turned to see Mrs. Potter.
“I know you’re not in here to help me with the dishes dear, so now that the boys are out side let’s talk.” Isabella nodded, putting the rag she had been using down. With a flick of her wand Mrs. Potter had the dishes pretty much washing themselves, and she brought Isabella to the small table that was in the kitchen.
“Sirius told me some of what you said last night.” Mrs. Potter said, Isabella sighed, and she knew Sirius would tell, but maybe that would make this whole situation easier.
“He did?” She asked, knowing sooner or later she’d have to say something.
“I’m…I’m just confused. I have this strong feeling that…that some how she’s there, and that it’s me. All the dreams I had, everything, every memory…” Isabella trailed off, moving her gaze to the floor. Mrs. Potter put her hand under her chin, lifting it so Isabella had no choose but to look at her.
“I know one way to find out.” She said standing and motioning for Isabella to follow. Isabella did so, ‘what is this lady talking about?’ She asked herself as they walked. Mrs. Potter stopped in front of a door, a few down from Sirius’s and James’s room.
“This is Morgan’s old room…”Mrs. Potter said, looking at the door.
“After she went missing, me and Mr. Potter put a spell over the room, only a true Potter can get in. So only, James, Mr. Potter and myself, we did it for two reasons, so no one would go barging in and…:
“So if she were to come back you’d know.” Isabella finished, Mrs. Potter nodded and stepped out of the way. Isabella walked up to it.
“If you are able to open the door, and the room shows up just the way Morgan left it, every little thing the same, then…”
“I am her.” Isabella said, bringing her hand to the door knob, she rested her hand there for a while, before actually turning it, the knob moved and the door opened. Mrs. Potter smiled, and Isabella made a loud sigh of relief, before stepping inside. Mrs. Potter followed, and looked at the room. Isabella’s jaw dropped, the room was amazing. A queen size bed in the middle, with at least 4 pillows and 5 stuffed animals, the walls were painted a light gold, and the curtains were red. Isabella went and sat on the bed, looking at the stuffed animals, there were five all together. In the middle the Phoenix and the black dog close, then there was a stag, a mouse and what seemed to be a werewolf. Isabella ran her hand over the phoenix, before turning to see Mrs. Potter smiling.
“Welcome back Morgan.” She said, before turning and leaving the room. There was the sound of rain, and the boys came running in. Sirius went by and into his room, but James stopped and looked at Isabella.
“What are you doing in here, only…”
“True Potters can get in.” Isabella said. James nodded before his eyes opened wide.
“James, I am Morgan.”
