I am not J.K Rowling unfortunately and I do not own Harry Potter, to my dismay. This storyline and my original characters are the only things that I have derived from my own pathetic, non-million making MIND! Anywho... Enjoy.
“I can’t believe that guy asked you out after only fifteen minutes, everybody knows that there is a rule about how long you wait...” Lara said to Maka. “And he was two minutes early,” they said in unison.
“Yeah well he was such a Gryffindork who hardly knew me, speaking of guys though that Malfoy guy seemed fairly interested in you even though you did kick him where the sun don’t shine.”
“That Slythergit, I haven’t seen someone so conceded in my whole life... well except for me and well you but we don’t count, I have to admit he was quite good looking, what am I saying he was HOT!” Lara cried. The girls started to laugh while they got into their pyjamas and lay themselves on their four poster beds in their new Ravenclaw dormitory.
“Fun day though met a lot of new people, Hermione doesn’t seem to like us to much though I think we are too fun for her,” Maka said smiling. “What lessons do we have tomorrow Lara?” When Makhala didn’t get a response she asked again. All she could hear was loud snoring. ‘That girl will sleep through anything’ she thought to herself. She laid back and stared up at the ceiling. ‘Finally I’m here now what do I do?’ Slowly Maka fell asleep smiling to herself about the many things she had up her sleeve.
Next Morning
“Lara are you awake?” Maka asked at what seemed six o’clock in the
morning. Lara mumbled a reply and rolled over to look at Maka. Maka smiled
at her “Did you have a nice sleep.” Lara glared at her telling Maka to
shut-up with her eyes. Maka knew Lara wasn’t much of a morning person.
Suddenly Lara jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. Maka looked at
her weirdly and wondered what she was doing.
“I have the greatest idea to get Hermione,’ she called emerging from the
bathroom; her hair already done in a low, messy ponytail. Maka watched as
she jumped into and clothes and bolted out the door yelling “I’ll meet you
in the Great hall.” Maka just shook her head.
‘When will she give that poor girl a break?’
Great Hall
As Maka entered the Great Hall she noticed Hermione running out with her
books over her head trying to avoid the stares of the people around her.
Maka looked worried and entered the hall cautiously. Lara was standing by
Harry and Ron looking as innocent as pie.
“Lara Wilhelmina Dodge what in the name of Merlin did
you do now?” Makhala said as she stormed over to the Gryffindor table,
fuming. Lara looked at her sheepishly.
“Nothing,” Maka looked at Harry and Ron who were crying with laughter,
Ginny looked shocked and spilled to Makhala.
“She just shook Hermione’s hand and all of a sudden Hermione’s hair started to contort and within seconds in was a stiff, red Mohawk.” Maka looked at Lara in disbelief and shook her head. Lara looked at Makhala for a few seconds and bolted out the door snatching some buttered toast out of a first year’s hand. Makhala rolled her eyes and followed her out pinching the apple the first year just picked up receiving complaints from the young boy.
“Lara wait up; I have to admit that, that was some good magic but I think you need to leave Hermione alone for a while,” Maka stressed to Lara outside of charms.
“I know it’s just so fun and easy, and well I’m a bit bored you know and you know how I pull pranks when I’m bored. This is why you’re the...”
Maka cut her off “...Smart one in this suit.” Lara laughed and agreed as they walked into charms winking at each other.
“Good morning class my name as most of you would already know is Professor Flitwick,” Flitwick said nodding towards the girls who waved. Flitwick looked flustered and almost fell off his podium. The girls laughed receiving looks from their classmates especially Hermione.
Later on in the lesson while the class were taking notes Maka whispered to Lara “Watch this.” And she flicked a rubber band at the tiny professor which caused him topple off his stack of books. When he got up he rubbed his head and glanced around the room looking for the culprit but all he saw was quiet students copying notes from the blackboard. He sighed and resumed his post of the stack of books and continued reading Tamara the Crazy Muggle* Whispers started to fill the room and soon everybody in the class knew and agreed to the next move, well except one, Hermione, of course. Just as Flickwick got engrossed into a chapter they all swapped seats trying to make as little noise as they could. Lara was now next to Seamus and Maka was sitting, quite close too, to Ron who by the way was enjoying it thank you very much. When Flickwick looked up he saw that they had changed but thought he was seeing things and continued reading. The class silently giggled and when he turned back to his book they changed again this time Lara was next to Ron and Maka was next to Seamus.
When Professor Flitwick looked up again he noticed that the class had changed seats and ordered whoever moved to move back only expecting a few to stand and received quite a shock when almost the whole class stood up. “Who’s idea was this I want you to own up immediately?” at this point Hermione had turned her attention away from her notes and raised her hand to ask a question not realising Flitwick’s question. The tiny professor looked at Hermione disappointed. She looked at him puzzled before realising the class had started to laugh their heads off.
Seamus leaned over and whispered what had happened in her ear. Hermione’s face went red and she looked like she was on the verge of tears. Lara was rolling on the floor banging the desk with laughter. Makhala looked at Hermione sadly and raised her hand explaining that it was her and Lara’s idea; Lara shut-up quickly and sat back in her seat.
“Well that was very noble of you Miss O’leary however I must subtract points from Ravenclaw for disrupting the class.” Makhala nodded in agreement and returned to her notes. The class looked astonished at her honesty and without even realising Makhala had earned major respect points from everyone particularly Hermione. Lara looked hurt and started to read her notes back to herself.
Professor Flitwick turned to the board and started to write up the new essay; just as he touched the board with the chalk though his nose and ear hair started to grow longer and longer till they touched the floor. Everyone looked around at Lara and Maka. The pair just shrugged and returned to the work getting quite a bit of laughter from the class especially one bushy haired Gryffindor.
Thank-you for reading I hope you enjoyed it.
*Tamara the crazy Muggle... sorry sis you said to put you in there so I did.
