My first night in my new common room was not exactly what I would call blissful. No actually my night was filled with tossing and turning, strange dreams of a wedding but, I always woke up before I could figure out who the bride and groom were.
Plus while a laid awake in my oversized room, I had a strange sensation that someone was watching me. This usually isn’t a good sign in all the horror movies that I’ve had watched in my life time.
Of course I knew they were fake, all made up, derived from some maniacs brain who decided to turn his childhood nightmares into movies. But nether the less they freaked me out.
My rather large room, that had lots of shadows, was not helping the situation either. You may possibly think that I’ve lost my marbles and that scary movies have corrupted my brain, but I was actually think of waking Potter himself, and making him keep me company. I know crazy right. But a creepy room can almost convince you to do anything.
I hummed loudly while I brushed my teeth to the sound of Potter beating on the door telling me to hurry. Instead of blowing up in his face, I decided that I would politely ignore him.
“LILY!! Please hurry, you have to share that bathroom! This is not fair! I like you and all but this is not necessary, you look fine how you are!” James said trying to coax me out of the bathroom, its not working. I said nothing…again.
“Woman quit primping! I need a shower I am a boy I actually smell bad, unlike girls who think they stink but the never do!” James said fiddling with the handle.
I put a simple styling spell on my hair and magically put my make-up on to match my clothes. I walked over to his door which he was still banging on, I heard him lean on the door.
“Perfect!” I whispered. I opened the door and Potter feel to my feet. I looked down at him.
“I am done now, Prince Potter!” I said calmly, leaving him to his business.
I walked down to the great hall and began my search for my friends.
There I saw Severus, I waved and he smiled back….Now where is Alice?
Oh there she was…and sitting by…none other that the famous Sirius Black.
No doubt wishing the crazy guy would go away.
I don’t know why but those marauders could not get it through their thick heads that we wanted nothing to do with them, they made us sick, not to mention they could not go forty-five minuets without insulting Severus with him there or not.
I walked over to where she was thinking of how pathetic their little group was.
But when I got to the table, what was Alice doing? Flirting that’s what, with Sirius Black, the rude, perverted, egotistic jerk.
“WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?” I silently yelled to myself as I sat down across from the two.
“When you fell from heaven did it hurt? Because baby your prettier than an angel.” Sirius said gleaming like that was one of his better lines.
“Oh, well thank you, you’re so nice.” Alice said in reply batting her eye lashes at him.
This is where I decided to alert them to my presence by pretending to puke all over the table. Sirius glared daggers and Alice blushed and turned to her breakfast.
I rolled my eyes and began putting food on my plate. Marcie and Gia broke into a giggle fit when Sirius left. I personally don’t think they let him get far enough away before they released their giggles. How did I know this? Well you see when he heard them laughing he turned around and started to blush.
As you can imagine this was quite hilarious to me so I too broke into a fit of uncontrollable laughter.
“Guys! Knock it off, he’s really sweet and not to mention cute.” Alice spat across the table at us still a deep shade of red. Seriously it almost matched my hair!
“When did you have this change of attitude?” I asked more accusatory than I was hoping for but, I wasn’t worried about it.
“This summer, as a matter of a fact, when he wrote me. He is actually really nice once you get to know him. His life is not exactly as perfect as he pretends it is. Maybe you should give him a chance. Like I did, he’s a good friend, and good listener.” Alice said her blushing fading only a little, now it just looked like a cousin to my hair.
“Someone’s fallen for Mr. Black!” Gia said in a flirty sing song voice.
Marcie giggled and shook her head agreeing with Gia. But I could have guessed that one. They never disagree, never, whatever one says the other one believes the same exact thing!
“Have you?” I asked not believing a word of it. ‘Please just let it be some more of the twins’ gossip.’ I thought to myself. They weren’t actually twins; they just looked alike and did everything together, so they earned that nickname.
“Well, maybe just a little bit.” Alice said we stared at her not saying anything waiting for more, “Ok well actually a lot, but he doesn’t like me that way.”
“Right and I am the minister of magic. I’ll get you together. You wait and see, that’s a promise Alice.” I said grabbing my bag and walking to my class.
I’m not going to lie, I don’t like the idea of Alice and Sirius, but she’s my best friends if she likes him that much I’ll put my feelings aside and help her out. Plus maybe she is right about him. Only time will tell.
I walked into class and sat beside Potter. Uh the things I do for my friends.
Ok so maybe this was only and excuse, I myself was starting to fall for Mr. Potter. Plus Sirius was sitting behind him so I needed to be close so we could talk in class.
“Hello Lily Flower.” James said simply glowing because I was sitting next to him. But that stupid nickname pissed me off.
“You know what I came over here to talk to you Sirius, about something very important. But I can’t sit by this pig here, who insists upon using that stupid nick-name. I’ll talk to you later when he’s not here, if I feel like it.” I hissed really angry, “Oh and James, DON’T CALL ME LILY FLOWER!” I yelled and took my usual seat.
Oops, did I seriously just call him by his first name?
