A/N: Alright so here’s chapter 15. I told you I’d update during my Thanksgiving break. :D

The night of Gia and Remus’ date soon came. Remus stood in the common room, waiting for Gia to come downstairs, while Gia was in her dorm room with Adeline. She was dressed in a pair of jeans and a close fitted blue t-shirt. She had no idea what they were going to do for their date and so she figured that dressing casual was the way to go.

“Do I look okay?” She asked Adeline for what seemed like the hundredth time.

Adeline sighed. “Yes, you look great, just go.” She replied, while trying to push her best friend out the door.

“I guess I should go… I’ve kept him waiting for too long now.” Gia said with a laugh. “Well, I’ll see you later then.” She said before walking out the door and into the common room.

Seeing Gia, Remus quickly rushed over to her. He was also dressed in jeans and had a white t-shirt on. He presented her with a daisy, which seemed perfect for the occasion considering how casual they were.

“Thanks.” Gia said as she took the daisy from Remus’ hands. She brought it up to her nose and inhaled its sweet fragrance. Remus grinned as he tucked the daisy behind her ear. The yellow color of the daisy clashed well with Gia’s brown hair.

“You look nice.” Remus told her with a smile.

“Thanks, so do you.” Gia said back in return.

It was silly, the way they were acting. It was as if they were two twelve year olds going out on the first date of their lives, only that they are seventeen and going out on their first date together instead.

“So, are you ready?” Remus asked Gia, even though it was obvious that she was ready.

Gia nodded a “yes”. Remus then took her hand and led her out of the common room and into the halls of Hogwarts.

“Where are we going?” Gia asked as they descended down the stairways.

“Well…” Remus said as they continued down the stairs. “I know how much you love the night sky, especially when there’s a full moon. And since I can’t go out on a full moon, I thought…” He hesitated as they reached the doors of the school that lead outside of the castle. Grinning, Remus opened the doors and lead Gia outside. “I thought that a crescent moon would be just as beautiful.”

Gia smiled as she tilted her head up to look at the starry night sky with a beautiful crescent moon hanging in it. She giggled softly as she took Remus’ hands, one in each of hers. “You thought right.” She told him before she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

“Care for a boat ride?” Remus asked as he led her over towards the black lake.

Gia grinned as the big lake came into view. “A boat ride sounds good, but won’t we be breaking curfew?” Gia asked.

Remus shrugged. “Well, yeah, but you can’t have fun if you don’t break the rules every once in awhile.”

To this Gia laughed. “I guess you’re right.” After all, it’s not like it’s the first time she’ll be doing it.

The two then continued towards the lake, until they reached the edge of it where a small boat was waiting on the surface of the water.

Gia furrowed her brows as she examined the boat. “Isn’t this?” Gia asked, but was cut off when Remus finished her thoughts.

“One of the first year boats.” He told her.

“But, how ever did you get one?” Gia questioned.

“I’m just, borrowing it from the school.” He said, pausing after “just” to pick the right word. “Borrowing” sounded a lot better than “stealing” to him. “They don’t call me a Marauder for nothing you know.” Remus said with a proud grin. He then helped her into the boat before getting in himself. With a swish of his wand and a simple spell, the boat started to move across the smooth, black surface of the water.

Gia sat in the boat, across from Remus. She smiled as she took in her surroundings. It was a nice night. The weather was calm and cool with no winds. The sky was cloudless and occasionally the sounds of a cricket or the hooting of an owl could be heard in the distance.

Gia’s attention slowly drifted back to Remus. She’d never known just how romantic he could be. She knew that their first date was going to be amazing, but she never expected it to be like this.

“So…” Gia said, hoping to start up a conversation and break the silence.

“So…” Remus repeated with a smile, causing Gia to laugh nervously. It was nerve wracking to be there with him, alone. She had wanted this for so long that now it was like a dream to her.

“You know Remus… This is really wonderful. I mean, no guy has ever done anything like this for me before.” Gia said seriously.

“Well a girl like you deserves something this special.” Remus told her. By this time the boat had taken the two across the lake and was on its way back towards the castle.

After a while longer of talking, the boat reached the shore and the two got out of it. Remus then walked hand in hand with Gia back to the Gryffindor Common room.

“Thank you, Remus. This really has been a great date.” Gia told Remus as they were standing on the bottom steps of the stairs that led up to the dorm rooms.

“You’re welcome Gia. And really, you’ve been a great date.” Remus said with a grin. He then leaned in and gave Gia a soft peck on the lips, but Gia pulled him in again and they shared a deep and passionate kiss.

“Goodnight Remus.” Gia said sweetly after they had broken apart. She didn’t wait for a reply from Remus before she headed upstairs and into her room. Adeline was already asleep, so Gia just walked over to her bed and sat down on it, figuring that she’d just tell Addie about the date in the morning. This was definitely one of the best dates of her life…

A/N: Well there you have it, the first date! I hope I didn’t disappoint, I know it was a bit short and I’m sorry for that. But please leave me a review; I’d love to know your thoughts! :D
