I own the HP characters!!! Ok, no I don’t. But I own the wish that I did…And Carmen.
(Back to Carmen’s POV)
I decided to start the potion before I got too comfortable. As I said before it was fairly simple.
"Just a few more stirs…" I said to myself. As soon as I had put the potion in a vial, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
" Carmilla, you already finished that potion? They didn’t mean you had to make it so soon…" I heard Lucius’s voice say from behind me. I turned to face him, vial in hand.
" I just didn’t want to forget about it later. What’s-"
" Admit it, you like making potions." He interrupted me.
" Maybe I do! So what?" I retorted, as Lucius smirked.
" You and Severus have that in common then… Mother asked him to make a potion too. He should be about done with it now. Let’s go see!"
Lucius then dragged me out of my room and across the hall. He knocked once then opened the door, pulling me inside before closing the door. Severus looked over at us from where he was behind his cauldron; he was scowling at us angrily.
" You could have waited until I opened the door." He told us before returning to his potion.
" I told Carmen that you liked to make potions. She does too. Perhaps she could help you." Lucius said, ignoring what Severus said.
" No!!"
Severus suddenly exclaimed. Lucius and I jumped in surprise. Lucius let go of my arm that held the vial and walked over to the cauldron. I stayed where I was for a minute, rubbing my arm where Lucius grabbed it.
Foolish boy! You basically gave yourself away! Some of you people from the world of the lightare terrible at hiding your emotions. Hahahahaha!
I saw Severus’s face go pink, before he put his head down.
" Ah, what I meant was... I am through with the potion…" He said in a small voice.
He went to one of his shelves and grabbed an empty vial. He filled it with potion and tried to find the cork, which he dropped. That gave me a chance to study his room. His walls were black, decorated with shelves that held various things. Many of them held vials or books, but only one caught my eye. It was in the corner of the room, higher above all the rest. I couldn’t see what was on it, for it was too high for me to see. I could have jumped up there and seen what was there, but then I would have to tell Severus how I did it.
His floors were like my own, simply a little bit darker. His bed was near the window at the back, covered with black sheets also. His ceiling was much different than mine. His decrypted an ancient battle between wizards and the demons. I had heard of this battle, I was told it cost many lives. Just for the protection of the Muggles.
"Aha!" I heard from behind the cauldron.
He must have found the cork… Severus straightened, the vial now sealed. He smoothed out his robes with the hand that didn’t hold the vial.
" Shall we deliver the potions?" Lucius asked, smirking at Severus. Severus swept past him and out into the hallway. I wondered what got his robes in a bunch….
Later after we had delivered the potions and ate supper. We all departed for bed, only to myself wake up in the middle of the night. Yes, I can sleep during the night or day. Whenever I choose to sleep. I sighed, this had been happening lately. Ever since I first started to have that dream.
(The Dream) I knew that something was calling me. I was running through a field towards an entrance to a village. I knew the village, it was Kakariko village. I wasn’t in my own world, the one with wizards and magic. I could tell that by the clothes I was wearing. Pale peach shirt and matching shorts, no shoes. Dozens of monsters running after me, they looked like goblins, yet they weren’t. I reached the village, not stopping to talk to any of the people that I passed by.
I reached a graveyard, hidden at the back of the village. I slowed down once I reached a small set of stairs. They led to a raised plateau of sorts. I walked up to the rock that stood against the wall, I reached out to touch it. But it disappeared before my fingers even grazed it. A small hole that rose up a foot from the ground was left. I crawled inside, reaching a hidden lake. Across the lake stood a single grave, that stood taller than I did.
(End of Dream)
I would always wake to a voice. A voice that said the same thing every time…
Your respect for the water and its dangers deserves reward.
When it is time I shall come to you…
I stood up beside my bed, straightening my clothes. They feel different… I thought, before looking down at them. I almost shrieked, discovering the clothes I was wearing in the dream upon me.
"Calm down… Breathe, in…. Out " I whispered to myself.
I decided a walk was needed to clear my head. I quickly exited my room, tip-toeing past Severus’s room. I left through the back door, walking to the lake in the woods behind the manor.
Stupid Zora Queen got to her first… Oh well, Carmen… You will call for me soon. Perhaps I shall have you visit the Twilight Realm in your sleep…
I stopped at the water’s edge, seeing something shine a bright blue in the water. The light in the water remained, seeming to come closer to me. I stood my ground, sensing no hostility from the light. Soon, it emerged from the water, revealing a….
