I can't believe I did that to myself. I read some of my other entrees and, that was not me. I liked me better when I wasn't on this so-called diet. I'm done with it. Done with all of it. I've eaten all my meals these past few days (much to the displeasure of the Slut.) and I think I've regained almost all of my energy. I played frisbee with Sirius and James and wasn't even all that tired!
I feel like I'm grabbing hold of my life all over again. I ate a big bowl of ice-cream with my mum which I think made her really happy. I haven't had much time with her ever since that whole anorexic thing. What was I thinking?
As for Lily, I left her a message telling her it was all over. She called me exactly three minutes and fourty-three seconds later. (Not that I was watching the clock or anything.) She was almost crying she was so happy. In fact, I'm pretty happy to.
I also apologized to Kitty for feeding her chocolate and the ice-cream man for wasting his ice-cream. He yelled at me for throwing all that good vanilla away. Then he slammed his little window on me.
But not even grouchy ice-cream men can ruin my day. I'm alive and well and that's all that matters. I'm off to babysit for the next door neighbors!
She's back! I have my ickle Avena back! I couldn't believe it at first. In fact, I was a little angry. But then I got over it and called her back as fast as I could. Then we went out for dinner and she had her old appetite back. After dinner we went home and watched re-runs of Sex in the City AGAIN and ate more food.
Life is good.
Remus and I were at the park. On the swingset to be more exact. He was STILL saying sorry over that stupid jellybean, and to make up for it he was pushing me on the swings. I love this kid.
"Higher!" I shouted.
He answered with a huge shove.
"Higher!" I shouted again.
He shoved even harder.
"Higher!" It was starting to sound like one of those row chants you hear on boats.
"If I push you any harder you'll fall off!" He called up to me.
"I don't care!" I shouted back, pulling the front of his sweatshirt over my nose and mouth and taking deep breaths of Remus-scent.
"When can I have my sweatshirt back?" He asked noticing what I was doing.
"Let's go on the see-saw!" I said pointing in that direction.
We raced over to it. I let him win so he can act all manly and macho or whatever.
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" I asked on my turn up.
"I don't know. A healer." He said.
"Why?" I asked him.
"I don't know, what about you?" I never thought about that before.
"What do you think I'd be good at?" I asked him.
"A journalist. Or a writer." He said after a while.
That was sweet. Aw, he actually thinks I'm smart!
"Why a journalist or writer?" I asked, fishing for compliments big time.
"Because you talk a lot." He said simply.
Well that was a let-down.
"Thanks." I said sarcastically.
"No problem." He said obviously not catching on.
"About that sweatshirt..." Not again.
"Let's get some ice cream!" I shouted, taking off to the ice-cream parlor.
We arrived out-of-breath and got our orders quickly. I think we were one of the only people there. We took our ice-cream out on the patio to go people watching.
"I'm never going to get my sweatshirt back, am I?" Remus sighed. Good boy. Face the facts.
"Never." I said solemnly.
"Why not?" Now look who was fishing for compliments?
"Because its soft." I said, getting back for the journalist thing.
"And you can't just buy you a soft sweater?" He got me there.
"No. Because their different." I said stubbornly. He poked my side.
"How so?" He asked.
"Because..." I trailed off.
"Because WHY?" He asked.
"You are a stubborn one." I giggled.
"Why yes, I am." He waggled his eyebrows making me laugh.
"I think your looking for a particular answer." I giggled, taking a step closer making our toes touch.
"Why yes, I am." He said leaning closer to my face.
"Think your gonna get it?" Trying to mask my emotions, but my voice giving it away.
"Why yes, I do." He said his lips melting into mine.
He set his ice-cream cone on the table behind us before wrappig his arms around my waist. I smashed my ice cream down and placed one hand on his cheek and the other behind his neck, deepening the kiss and playing with the hair on the nape of his neck. It was soft, just like I imagined it would be for... lets see... five years now.
We broke apart just in time for him to say, "I've been waiting to do that for a long time now."
I kissed him again, this time even sweeter than the first, and I'm looking forward to even sweeter ones.
Ones that will make me think of him until the next ones which will lead to more until I'll finally lose count.
A/N:: This was so much fun to write! But this is a long way from over. Trust me. Much much much more to go!!! Review and you will be rewarded!
