A year and a half had passed since Isabella and Sirius’ little conversation. Isabella and Lily became close friends and were never seen apart. Isabella and Sirius began to act the way Lily acted towards James. They always fought, even if it was about nothing. Now it was late April, in their sixth year.
“How could professor McGonagall give us that much homework?” Isabella said as her and Lily walked from transfiguration to potions.
“Its not that hard.” Lily said. Isabella scoffed.
“You’re the only smart girl in this school Lils, whatever is easy for you is like 10 times harder for me.” Isabella exclaimed. Lily rolled her eyes.
“Its really not that hard.” She said, walking into class. Isabella followed. They sat next to each other, and the bell rang. Professor Slughorn walked in, and looked at them.
“Today you will be given partners that you will work with for the next month.” He said, Lily and Isabella looked at each other.
“Ok, so lets see.” Slughorn said thinking. “Potter and Evans. Black and… Martin.” Isabella froze.
“No way Professor, I really can’t work with him, sir can I please work with someone else.” She said.
“I can’t deal with her.” Sirius said.
“You’re both Gryffindors you should work together fine.” Slughorn said.
“No we really can’t.” Isabella said. “Really can’t.” Sirius echoed.
“Enough!” Slughorn bellowed. Isabella jumped.
“You will work together.” He hissed. They nodded, and he listed off the other groups. Lily patted Isabella’s shoulder. Isabella crossed her arms. “Great.” She muttered. The groups moved to certain desks, Lily and James were a few rows in front Sirius and Isabella. They sat down and Slughorn explained what then were supposed to do. Isabella wrote everything down, Sirius leaned back in his chair.
“You could at least try to work.” She grumbled. Sirius didn’t say anything. Isabella scoffed, and added in a little bit of a leaf. The potion turned a light blue color. Sirius threw a note at James. Isabella scowled.
“No, your note going to do that.” She snapped, grabbing the note mid-air before Sirius could see James’ reply. She held it in her right hand, farthest from Sirius.
“Give it back Martin.” He said, Isabella didn’t do a thing. James watched in awe about how she caught that.
“ Don’t count on it Black.” She growled. Isabella began to unfold it.
“If you don’t help I’ll read this note to the whole school at dinner. If you help me finish the potion then I’ll consider giving it back at dinner.” Isabella said. Sirius glared at her.
“So you’ll blackmail me.” He said, Isabella rolled her eyes.
“I wouldn’t call it that.” She said, then pushed the cauldron over by him. “Now work.” Sirius scoffed he read her instructions and Isabella debated on rather to open it or not.
Isabella and Sirius handed in their finished potion that Sirius had so terribly screwed up. Professor Slughorn gave them a doubtful look and put the cauldron down.
“Its your fault we got a bad grade.” Isabella snapped as they walked out.
“How?” Sirius asked. Isabella rolled her eyes.
“You wouldn’t help me, and when you finally did you messed it up.” Isabella said, going to find Lily. Lily was waiting by the Great Hall when Isabella found her.
“So what happened?” She asked.
“Sirius got us a bad grade so I think I failed. How about you?” Isabella asked as they went to the table for a study hall.
“We, I mean, I did it fine while James watched.” Lily said Isabella giggled.
“I have to figure out how to deal with this, I mean a month is that guy crazy?” She said sitting down quietly.
“Yeah, I can’t deal with Potter for more than five minutes.” Lily said taking out her transfiguration homework. Isabella looked at hers that was half way done as for Lily, who was nearly finished. Someone brushed past them, their elbow tickling Isabella’s back. She jumped, scaring Sirius, James and Remus who were walking behind her.
“Sorry.” Remus said. Lily giggled as how shocked Isabella looked.
“Its ok.” She said Sirius laughed.
“Ticklish much?” He asked.
“Shut up Black, and yes I’m very ticklish.” Isabella said turning back to her work. Sirius smiled, and kept walking. James laughed.
“What’s your idea Padfoot?” James asked. Sirius smirked to himself.
“Just a little prank to get back at Miss Martin.” He said. James smirked too. Remus raised an eyebrow.
“Since she admitted to being ticklish, we should use that to our own advantage.” Sirius explained. James thought for a second. James thought for a second.
“Padfoot do you like her?” James asked randomly. Sirius looked at him then leaned back to look at Isabella. She had beautiful brown hair and soft brown eyes. Her figure was slim and curvy, the way Sirius liked it. Another thing he noticed too was she was a few or so inches shorter then he and James. He smirked then snapped out of his daydream. She reminded him of someone. He leaned back to his friends.
“Guys look at her, who does she remind you of?” Sirius asked, James looked.
“A girl who is friends with Lily?” He said. Sirius rolled his eyes.
“She reminds me of someone, I just can’t tell who.” He said, then began talking about the prank again.
**Flashback**
“Sirius stop, please.” Morgan begged as Sirius tickled her sides. Morgan was in fits of giggles. They were in their compartment on the train to their 3rd year of Hogwarts. Sirius refused to stop.
“Please.” She begged. Sirius smiled.
“Hmm, let me think.” He said, James was laughing while playing wizards chess with Remus.
“Stop harassing my cousin.” James said Remus chuckled. Morgan as still getting tickled by Sirius.
“If you like her that much, why don’t you just ask her out?” James asked. Morgan’s eyes grew big. Sirius stopped and glared at James. Morgan looked at the both of them, then to Remus who shrugged.
“He lies.” Sirius said. Morgan smiled.
“Who just told me that…” James said getting cut off by Sirius’ hand. Morgan laughed.
“Ah, its ok Siri. You can tell us anything.” Morgan said, her hair falling into her face. James made a face.
“Oh, and take your hand off of James’s mouth. I think he is trying to tell me it tastes bad.” Morgan said. Sirius put his hand down.
“Sorry mate.” He said. Morgan smiled.
“I’ll be right back.” She said, walking towards the door. Sirius looked at her and smiled. Morgan tucked her brown hair behind her ear and walked towards the bathroom.
**End Flashback**
“Morgan,” Sirius mumbled. “She reminds me of Morgan.”
