Lily sat in her compartment, waiting for her friends to arrive. She knew that Kate would be there soon, Nessa would came at the same time with bloody Potter and Sirius, and Izzy... well, Lily wasn't sure how or when Izzy would come. She had a habit to arrive when you least expected it.
"Lils!" Kate said breathlessly, her twin brother following her.
"Katie!" Lily squealed and hugged Kate. "How are you, dear?" she asked as they pulled away.
"Oh I'm fine," Kate said and smiled softly. "And you?"
"Just great, excited of the coming year, as usually," she said grinning. "Hey Ethan, want to join us, or...?" Lily asked kindly.
"Bite me, Mudblood," he snarled and disappeared. Lily blinked and looked at Kate who just shook her head apologetically.
"He's always like that when we come to Hogwarts, you know it... you're wasting your time," she muttered, sitting down beside the window, as Lily sat down on the other side, with a worried expression on her soft face. "You know how he gets with his friends," Kate said and Lily shuddered, remembering how cruel Ethan was around his Slytherin friends.
Just like Potter..., Lily thoguht bitterly, remembering that one day in their fifth year with Severus Snape. Lily looked out through the window, just in time to see Nessa hurry to the train, clearly arguing with Sirius about something, while James stalked after them, clearly deep in his thoughts.

Lily!" Nessa said and stopped abruptly at the compartment, making Sirius walk into her and James into him, making Nessa stumble ungracefully inside. "
God damn it, Black!" she cursed loudly, making Lily blink at the language.
"Nessa, language!" Lily scolded, getting a quick glare from Nessa.
"Well, hello to you too, gorgeus!" she said and hugged Lily and Kate quickly before pushing Sirius to the corrior and started to call him things Lily had never heard her say.
"Evans," James said and nodded briefly and looked at her with his hazel brown eyes.
"Potter," Lily muttered and looked away, fully aware of his gaze.
"Move, Jay..." Nessa growled and pushed him aside and sat down beside Lily. "Take your idiotical bastard of friend with you and die," she snarled and James grinned as he dragged Sirius, who tried to get into the compartment.
"So, how was your summer?" Lily asked Nessa.
"Horrible, completly a disaster!" she said dramatically and threw her arms in the air. "First, Black destroys everything I had going on with Han--"
"Dan!" Lily and Kate corrected her quickly.
"Han, Dan,
whatever!" Nessa said and waved it off with her hand. "Anyway, at James' party, he just completly--"
Lily sighed and leaned back in her seat, letting Nessa rant all she wanted of her horrible summer and the drama between her boyfriend of the week and Sirius, the guy who seemed to have a thing for her. Nessa, of course, said that he just tried to play with her, which Lily, or any of their friends, didn't believe.
Why can't she just see that Sirius cares about her? Lily thought and closed her eyes, trying to get some sleep before Izzy would arrive...

"Isabel, come back here!" Mr Rush said coldly and Izzy turned slowly around, her face full of hate.
"What, Father?" she said and turned back.
"Remember what I said, we're watching your every move, so beware of who you're being with," he murmured darkly.
"Oh yeah, no Mudbloods, huh?" she said loudly, getting weird looks from the people around. "No Mudbloods, or I'm being burned out of the fucking family tree, and get a nice little punishment... and it's all for my own good, right?" Izzy said bitterly.
"Isabel, watch your slippery tongue, it will be the end of you someday," her father said, grabbing her arm tightly.
"I'm scared..." she said with a low voice and narrowed her eyes.
"You should be, Isabel... You should show some respect for those who are greater than you, and you should watch who you're befriending, if you don't want them to get hurt."
Izzy's eyes got slightly wider, but she refused to show the fear she felt of imagining her friends suffering thanks to her. She couldn't let that happen, she couldn't... "Oh shut up, you old shit..." Izzy snarled and pulled her arm away from his grip and stalked towards the train, feeling the burning gaze of her mother and father in her back.
"Isabel," she heard him call after her, but she didn't look back. She was never going to look back, never ever again. "Isabel! You come back here right now!" he said, but when she just walked faster he shook his head slowly, as she jumped on the train. "You should watch who you're turning your back to, silly girl..."

Izzy looked into every compartment, wondering where her friends could be. She heard someone walk behind her and she glanced briefly over her shoulder, seeing James Potter there. "Oh hello, James," she said, waiting for him to catch up with her. "Did you play any Quidditch during the summer?"
"Hell yeah," James laughed, his hands deep in his pockets. "You?"
"Mmm, not so much as I had wished..." she said darkly and pushed a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.
"Aww," James teased and shoved her playfully, "didn't my best Chaser get to play?"
"Oh shut it, or I will do my everything to make sure that Lily's never going to warm it up for you," she threatened, making the color fade away from his face.
"You wouldn't, would you?"
"Oh yes I would!" Izzy said and laughed.
"Damn it..." James said, clearly frustrated about something. "I don't know why she can't even give me a chance, you know?"
"Um, yeah..." Izzy said, wondering why stuff like 'dating' and 'love' was such a big thing anyway.
"Your'e her friend, right?" James said suddenly. "You couldn't like... help me, could you?"
Izzy snorted and glanced at James, noticing that he was deadly serious. "What? Help you? Like... what?" she said with a weak voice.
"You're the only one who understands me!" James pleaded.
"I am? Oi, oi, oi, oi!" Izzy said and lift her hands up as if trying to stop the time. "Hold on, mister! I have never dated before, I have no bloody idea of dating and all that cheesy stuff," she groaned.
"Yeah but... please, if it's not helping, then you can just stop, but just try, okay?"
"Well... I could try, but..." James did a little victory dance and Izzy shook her head with a grin. "I won't promise any good results though..."
"Thanks Izzy, you rock!" James said and ruffled her hair before dashing off.
Izzy shook her head again and spotted her friends in a compartment nearby and opened the door, getting attacked by hugs.
"Izzy Lizard!" Lily said happily.
"Hey Lils, hey Nessa, hey Katie!" Izzy said and hugged them all. "How are ya all doin'?"
"Pretty good," Kate said with a smile and sat down again with a book.
"Fan-damn-tastic," Nessa said and got whacked by Lily.
"Language, Nessa!" she shrieked, as Nessa rubbed her head. "I'm good, Izzy, and you?"
"Just... fine," Izzy said shrugging and sat down beside Kate, starting to discuss the past summer with her friends, feeling a sting of jealousy as she heard how fun they had had while she had stayed locked in her room most of the time, just counting the days when she could return to her real home; Hogwarts.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Padfoot?" Remus asked with an unsure look on his face, as he pushed the trolley down the corridor, with Sirius sitting on it.
"Oh yes, I think it's a damn great idea!" Sirius said, clapping his hands together. "Now, fire those fireworks, will ya?" he said excitedly. Remus shook his head as he put fire on the fireworks under the trolley.
"You're bloody nuts..." he muttered as Sirius' grin got wider.
BOOM!!!!!!!
Remus watched as Sirius was fired off with the trolley down the long corridor, hearing the shrieks of girls along the way. "Idiot..." he muttered and started to run after the trolley to see the damage.
"Watch out!" Sirius laughed as he passed the people on the corridor, amking them push themselves against the wall to avoid the trolley that came down the corridor with a speed of light. "Watch out, Prongs!" Sirius yelled as he saw James walk down the corridor with Lily, who seemed clearly shocked to see that James had been made Head Boy. James glanced back just in time to see Sirius come along with the trolley. He quickly pulled back against the wall, taking Lily with him.
"Wooohohohohohooooo!!" Sirius whooped as he passed them. James looked down at Lily who was blushing furiously by the closeness of James, and he quickly pulled away.
"Bloody Black..." Lily muttered, her face still slightly red. She started to run down the corridor after Sirius and the trolley, James right behind her. They turned the corner, just in time to see Nessa come out from the compartment.
"Watch out, Nessa!" Sirius, James, Lily and Remus called, but when Nessa turned arund, Sirius was alreadygrabbing her around the waist and pulled her to him.
The screams of Nessa echoed on the train as the trolley pulled faster and faster, nearing the point where the fireworks would go off.
"Siiiiiiiiiiiriiiiuuuuuuus Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!!" Nessa screamed at the top of her lungs, but Sirius just laughed loudly as they neared the end of the corridor. "Have you noticed that the wall is coming closer!?" Nessa screamed, clinging to him for her dear life.
"Oh bugger," Sirius said, slightly confused by the wall. "Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger..."
"
Sirius!" Nessa roared, her face twisted of anger.
BOOM!!!!!!!
A thick smoke filled the corridor, making James, Lily and Remus cough, trying to get to the two trolley riders. "Nessa? Sirius?" Lily called, coughing loudly as she tried to wave the smoke away with her hand.
"Wooohohohooo!" came Sirius' whooping from a pile of trolley pieces. The smoke started to fade, showing the dirty face of Sirius'. He had a wide grin plastered on his face, clearly proud of himself. "That was some hell of a ride, don't you think, love?" he laughed and shoved a little pile beside him, which appeared to be Nessa.
"You fucking idiot!" Nessa roared and smacked him with the closest piece she could get. "I could have got hurt! Actually, I did!"
"What?" Sirius said, his grin slowly falling. "You got hurt?"
"Yes," Nessa said, her voice shaking with anger. "I broke a nail, you selfcentered, arrogant, dim wit--"
"Shush, my love," Sirius said and put his finger on her lips. "I love it when you're mad, but you're better when you're calm and in complete harmony with--"
"Harmonize this!" Nessa snapped and slapped him. She stood up, trying to keep the last bits of dignity she wore, as she brushed off the ashes from her clothes and stumbling away from the mess, her hair pointing in every direction and her face dirty of ash.
"Nessa!" Sirius pleaded and tried to stand up but fell back down and got more trolley pieces on him. "Nessa, please--"
"Lily, come on, let's go!" Nessa said as she stomped away from the growing crowd that was now laughing at her and Sirius.
"Erm, James?" Lily said, making James almost fall over with calling him by his first name. "Could you...?" she said, gesturing towards Sirius and the mess.
"Yes, of course!" James said and nodded. "Moony, help me, will you?" he said and gestured Remus to join him as Lily jogged after Nessa, who had tears of anger running down her dirty cheeks.
"Nessa?" Lily called and jogged up to Nessa, and turned her around her by her arm. "Nessa? Are you okay?"
"Am I okay!?" Nessa screamed, as Lily leaned up to wipe away the tears. "You're asking me if I'm okay after that scene over there!?"
"Nessa..."
"Why can't he just leave me alone!?" Nessa whailed as Lily wrapped her arms arund her. "All I'm asking for is that he would just stop it... But does he care!? NO! He just keeps on teasing and tormenting me like I'm some kind of toy of his, and... and... and... oh Lily..." she sobbed and cried to her shoulder, completly unaware that Sirius stood right behind the corner with James and Remus, his grey eyes filled with the pain he felt in his heart.
He had no idea that Nessa felt like that... and now it was his turn to feel hurt. For the first time in his life.

Nessa was sleeping peacefully with her head in Kate's lap, who softly stroke Nessa's hair and sang a quiet lullaby her mother had always sang to her when she was upset. Lily was sitting on the floor with Izzy, and running her finger down the bridge of Nessa's nose, knowing that Nessa liked it when Lily did little things like that. Izzy had hear head on Lily's shoulder, and her arms around her, staring at the sleeping girl in front of her. The scene of the four girls would have looked ridiculous to anyone who would have walked in at that moment, but this was just a sign of trust and love that the girls shared. If one of them was hurt and weak, then they all were. They supported each other as if they were connected to each other. Maybe they were, they were like sisters in every way. They were a little family, having no secrets from each other...
The compartment door slid open and James popped his head in. "Lily?" he whispered softly, smiling at the girls inside the compartment. It looked pretty cute how they all were connected...
Lily looked up at James and James motioned her to follow him outside. Lily stood up quietly and follwoed him, closing the compartment door after her. "Yeah?"
"I was just wondering how she's doing..." James whispered, glancing at the sleeping Nessa through the compartment window.
"She's a bit upset, but she's resting now," Lily said, crossing her arms over her chest and looked down at her feet. "You know, all that teasing and stuff just sort of crashed down on her today, so she's a bit of a mess... six years of playing and all," she whispered, her eyes connecting with James' hazel ones.
"Yeah..." James mumbled and leaned slowly down to Lily's face, while she felt like James' lips were calling for hers. Her face was almost an inch from his when a voice inside her told her to pull away.
"James?" she muttered.
"Mmmm...?" James murmured and opened his eyes, noticing the freckles on her nose.
"Don't," she simply said and pulled away.
"What?" he said, with a confused expression.
"Just... don't," she said, putting the walls up again, deciding that it was just the fact that she was tired that had pulled them down in the first place. "I need to go now... bye," Lily said and hurried inside the compartment again, feeling more lost than ever before in her life...
