A/N:- this chapter is really short but I couldn’t really write very more, it sort of fizzed out and I’m anxious to get to the next part.

“I’m not going to work today.” Lily said angrily to April.

“Why not?” April asked. April had come because Lily had told her to come as soon as she could. The only time April could manage was an hour break during her studies.

“Because James will be there obviously. Well not in my department.” Lily said. She blasted a photo of James with her wand. April looked at Lily slightly alarmed.

“What did he do?” April asked grabbing Lily’s arm and taking her wand.

“He tried to kill me.” Lily said. April shook her head and looked at Lily confused she’d misheard, obviously.

“He what?” April asked.

“He tried to kill me.” Lily said.

“James would never do that.” April said. “He loves you too much and you have a baby.”

“Well he was under one of the unforgivable curses at the time but it was still James.” Lily said. She was shaking slightly and again the potion she had taken earlier to settle her stomach hadn’t worked.

“Who cursed him?” April asked.

“Voldemort I think” Lily said. April looked at Lily.

“Well why are you angry at James for? He was cursed and was under the control of Voldemort. Do you know how powerful Voldemort is? Did he fight it?”

“Eventually.” Lily said quietly. She couldn’t look at April in the eyes. “But it’s difficult seeing your husband trying to kill you. It was terrifying.” Lily said. April hugged April.

“I’m sure he’s beating himself up over it now. I saw him at work with his knuckles all bleeding, he didn’t look good. I wondered why.” April said. Lily pulled away and sighed.

“Can you tell him to come home if you see him?” Lily asked. April smiled and nodded.

“Of course. I have to be back at training anyway.” April said to Lily. April ran a hand down Lily’s hair. “Forgive him ok. If you two can’t get over this there’s no hope in hell for the rest of us. I mean, you two were enemies and look at you now. You’re married and you’re expecting your first child. You two made it work.” Lily smiled.

“Have you ever considered being minister of magic?” Lily asked with a smirk.

“Sounds good doesn’t it?” April said grinning, “I just know how to make you cheer up. I try and try with Sirius but it just doesn’t work.”

“Get to work, I don’t want you to be kicked out of Auror training because of me.” Lily said. April grinned and disappeared.

James sat at his desk scratching his parchment with his quill. He felt so bad, he had tried to kill Lily last night. James’ hatred for Voldemort had reached an all new high, a new level. Sirius had managed to escape, apparently once Voldemort had control of James he wasn’t interested in Sirius and had disappeared. Sirius looked at James slightly concerned. There was a knock at their door and a familiar young woman with blond hair and a long black cloak with a gold wand embroidered on it gave them a smile.

“Hey boys.” She said. Sirius smiled and got up to give her a kiss. She grinned and kissed his cheek. “You need to shave.” She whispered to Sirius. Sirius stroked his chin.

“I think the stubble look suits me.” Sirius said. “What do you think?” April shrugged.

“I have a message from Lily.” She said. James looked up straight away.

“What did she say?”

“You need to go home as soon as you can because I think she’s going to forgive you, you bastard.” April joked but James detected a hint of seriousness in her voice.

“Ok.” James said. He picked up his cloak quickly and started to leave the office.

“Not yet, she’s still cooling off. Go after lunch.” April told James. He nodded reluctantly and put his cloak back down.

“Do you want to go to lunch?” Sirius asked April.

“Sorry, I have a session on disguising.” April said. “And this evening it’s stealth in the dark. I’m not going to be home until tomorrow evening.”

“What!” Sirius asked annoyed. “I hate Auror training.” April gave him a look.

“There is one disadvantage to it but otherwise I love it.” She said.

“What’s the disadvantage?” James asked.

“I can’t see Sirius whenever I want” April said running a few fingers over Sirius’ rough cheeks. “Well I have to go, I’ll be late. Bye.” April gave Sirius a quick kiss but he pulled her into an even deeper kiss, which April emerged from slightly flustered.

“Bye.” Sirius said happily. April gave him a smile and gave James a wave. “I love her.” Sirius said to himself. He hummed an annoyingly catchy tune and sat at his desk. James sighed and sat down and started his work on the Ludo Bagman case. They still hadn’t resolved it and it was really bugging James that a quidditch player could be so stupid.

James apparated home and found Lily sitting on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate on the small coffee table and a fairly thick book in her hands. She was still in her nightclothes and she hadn’t brushed her hair.

“Lily” James said quietly. Lily glanced up and smiled behind her book. James didn’t smile but frowned worriedly. “I’m really sorry about last night. The more I think about it the guiltier I feel.” Lily wiped the smile off her face and put the book down.

“Well, it was a bit disconcerting having your husband attack you but I think that we could put it behind us.” Lily said.

“Really? You’ll forgive me?” James asked.

“You were under the Imperious curse.” Lily said. “And Voldemort is really powerful so I guess I can forgive you.” James smiled and sat on the sofa next to Lily and leaned in for a kiss. Lily gave him one but just kissed the corner of his mouth. “Just promise me you’ll fight harder if there’s a next time.”

“Of course.” James said. He put an arm around Lily and gave her a kiss on her lips. “Do you think baby will mind if we-” James said cheekily.

“That’s disgusting James.” Lily said hitting him slightly.

“Sorry it’s just that I’m feeling really…I really want to sleep with you.” James said anxiously. Lily smirked and kissed him.

“You’ll have to wait at least nine months then.” Lily said with a grin. James moaned and started complaining but Lily shut him up by kissing him.

A/N:- Heya, I was reading through all my reveiws and it seems to me that some people are a bit uncertain as to whether i'm a boy or a girl and where i live and so forth and so forth SO i thought as this chapter is majorly tiny i'd write a little bout myself.

I'll be seventeen in a month and i'm a girl and i live in England so i might use some words that non-english people might not get so if you don't understand anything, just ask and i will tell. I'm completely mad and i'm trying to specialise in Science but it's not working because i write a lot and i'm very musical. I might not be able to update as much int he future because i'm doing something called the AS levels (stupid government for introducing it!) and it's really difficult but i'll try and update loads. I also have a book 6 planned with the characters from this story and i'll be kieeping SIrius alive (YAY!!) coz i need him!
