Chapter 1 : Changing face
Rating: MatureChapter Reviews: 3

Background:   Font color:

Harry Potter hates his summer holidays, only because he
hates the ‘Family’ he lives with. The Dursleys hate him and he hates
them.  It’s a mutual feeling. All Harry
wants is to get away from it all find a family that cares for him. Yes the
Weasley’s care, but it’s not the same. Harry wants family to care for him. Not
a friend’s family. He wants a real family, one he can call his own. Only thing
is, as far as he knows, his whole family is dead… Well, as far as he knows. On
his 16th birthday, Harry receives a letter that will alter his life
forever. He finds out, that he truly does have a family. But will they care for
him the way he wants???

Amber Katoni Riddle-Snape: Ok People, I know you
probably don’t want to hear this, but I am restarting my
Face’ Fic. And here it is.  I will
leave the other one up to find out which is better, which ever one you all like
more is the one I will keep … k? Just leave it in the reviews whether you like
this one or the other one. Oh! And I don’t own Harry Potter, I wish I did
though, but sadly, I don’t. Although, I wouldn’t mind owning Tom Felton!!! Oh,
and sorry if the song doesn’t go….it took a while to figure this one would.
Although, I’m personally not one hundred percent sure it does. Oh! And one last
thing (hopefully) I will call myself Katoni, Kat or Toni.

Chapter one
--- Harry Potter is a WHAT?!

Harry Potter staggered back to the Dursley’s, leaving a nice
trail of blood behind him. You could smell him coming a mile away. The scent of
the blood and dirt mixed together was nauseating. One person noticed him, that
person shut and bolted the door so that Harry couldn’t enter. It didn’t matter;
Harry never made it to the doorway anyhow. He passed out at the foot of the
driveway of Number Four Privet Drive.

The next morning someone found Harry and carried him to
their home to clean him up. It took a while, but eventually the raven-haired
was cleaned up of all the blood on him.

Moments after the teen was cleaned up, he started to stir.
Waking up he asked a simple “Where am I?” Mrs. Figg was at his side in a

“You are with me. If I may so ask, what happened?” Mrs. Figg

Harry was silent for a moment before he opened his mouth to

“The Dursley’s decided to go out for a week they are to get
home tonight. Anyhow, They locked me out since they didn’t want me to go with
them, or wanted me to blow up the house. Really, they just wanted to be cruel
to me.

“They were expected to be home in about three hours, so I
figured I’d go for a walk, to enjoy the little bit of time I had left.

“Before I knew it, I was lost in a forest.”

Harry was walking
along a pathway, trying his damndest to find his way out of the forest he
somehow managed to make himself lost in.

‘Ok, I have got to get
out of here, and fast. I’ve been in here for two hours already and it looks
like I’m going deeper into the forest. Not coming out of it. Oh man, it’s dark
out too. I’m sure that there are beasts and animals in this thing.’ He thought
desperately to himself. Trying to find his way out was proving to be much more
difficult than originally thought. He thought he had just entered, only problem
is, he wasn’t paying any attention what so ever to where he was heading.

“Ok, so I think I came
in and turned left then right, then right again. Oh man, this is too difficult.
I’ll just walk around and hopefully make my way out.” Harry muttered to himself
and started his long trek through the woods.

It was three hours
before anything interesting happened.

He was walking
innocently around and noticed that the area seemed familiar to him.

‘NO! I started here!
Not again! I keep making my wa—‘ he started to think, but his thoughts were
interrupted by a growling sound in the bushes. Whipping around Harry backed
away from the bushes that the noise was coming from.

It was not even a
second later when a creature that looked a lot like a wolf emerged from the bushes.
That’s when Harry realized it was a full moon. ‘Shit’ was all he managed to
think before he was attacked.

‘Shit, it must be a
werewolf. Just my luck! Well, at least I know what the creature is.’ Harry
thought to himself then realized a dull throb on his side, right below his
ribs. Looking down he gasped. ‘No! I was not bit….it’s a scratch, it’s a
scratch.’ He kept telling himself over and over, while he pulled his shirt up
only to reveal a ghastly looking mark. He sank to his knees, unable to stand anymore.
‘At least Moony will have company.’ He thought and quickly started moving
again. He didn’t want to be out here if or when that thing returned.

Another twenty minutes
later, Harry was staggering, seeing as he had lost a lot of blood during his
trek. If anyone were to be following, they would see a zigzagging trail of
blood and at points, small puddles of it where Harry had fallen. He was not in
a good state, he was barely conscious, he was surprised he was still walking.

“You were attacked and
bitten by a werewolf?” Mrs. Figg asked calmly. Harry nodded.

“I was bitten by a
werewolf, and am surprised I am still alive because I lost so much blood. Well,
maybe not that surprised.”

“Why aren’t you too
surprised?” Mrs. Figg asked as she started to brush Harry’s now longer hair.

“I’m getting there.”
Harry stated impatiently.

“Sorry.” Mrs. Figg stated
and continued to brush his hair.

“Anyway, as I was saying
before you decided to interrupt me…”

It was another hour or
two before Harry managed to find shelter for the night. He had resigned himself
to the fact that he wasn’t going to get out of the forest tonight, so, he
decided to try to get some sleep.

He found a nice
wayward pine title="">[i] to sleep in.
Although, he thought he would be relatively safe, seeing as it was still around
eleven, he also thought he could get some shut eye. But he didn’t dare lay down
before he had wrapped the wolf bite well enough that he shouldn’t get any dirt
in it. Then he laid himself down and fell into a restless doze.

It wasn’t until about four
hours until the sun were to rise that a breath awaked Harry on his neck. He
rolled over as best as he could to come face to face with someone grinning,
only thing is something wasn’t right. It took a minute, but it clicked.
had fangs,
and no normal person had
fangs. At least not like that.

“You know, you look quite style='font-style:normal'> appetizing” The person stated simply.

“I’m not as appetizing
as I look.” Harry said in a voice that wasn’t really his. It was too calm,
while Harry was panicking inside.

“Oh yes you will be.”
The person said and lunged. Aiming for Harry, where he never thought to
protect. His neck.

He (Harry) screamed
out in pain as he realized that the person was a vampire.

“Do you wish to live?
Or die?” The vampire asked Harry. Harry thought about it.

‘Do I want to live on as a vampire, or die a human?’ style='font-style:normal'> He asked himself, eventually he decided to live. The
vampire was thrilled at that revelation and quickly bit her own wrist to draw
some blood.

“Here, have a taste.”
She said and Harry did. Albeit a little reluctantly. He thought she was sweet,
she tasted like chocolate mint. But maybe it was his imagination.

“There, now do you
have a wish you want granted?” She asked

“Yes,” Harry
whispered, “take me home name="_ednref2" title=""> style='mso-special-character:footnote'>[ii]
The vampire nodded and picked Harry up. Took him out of the forest and carried
him to the driveway of number four privet drive. By now, the sun was going to
rise within two hours. So, the vampire bid Harry farewell, promising that she
would see him again.

“So you were bit by a
Vampire and a Werewolf? Am I safe around you?” Mrs. Figg asked

“Yes, I know you are,
cause the two of us talked a little as she carried me home. She told me that
the vampire in me cancels out some of the attributes from the werewolf, and
vice versa. Meaning, I do not have the blood lust and I can walk in the day,
and I don’t turn into a wolf each month. Basically I get the good from both.”
Harry stated.

“Ok, if you promise not
to attack me. Anyway, I’ll take you to Hogwarts. Ok?” Mrs. Figg asked

“Sure, fine by me.” Harry
answered and fell asleep. Mrs. Figg shook her head and went to her fireplace.
She had unlimited use of that to Dumbledore’s office, so she took a pinch of
floo powder, stepped into the fireplace and yelled out the information.

When she appeared in
Dumbledore’s office, she heard one phrase that really startled her:

“Face it Severus,” it was
Remus Lupin talking, “, Harry Potter is your son.”

In the End, by Linkin Park

(It starts with)
One thing / I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It’s so unreal
Didn’t look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on / but didn’t even know
Wasted it all just to
Watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart
What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I

so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
One thing / I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I’m surprised it got so (far)
Things aren’t the way they were before
You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me
In the end
You kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart
What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
And for all this
There’s only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
And for all this
There’s only one thing you should know
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

Truth, they have wayward pines in the open fields and whatnot. So, I put one in
here! Yes I love the books…

as to what to say, so I had Harry say home. Don’t ask why, I truly don’t know.
