The Ball ended, and all the Gryffindors squeezed through the door, pushing and shoving to get back into the common room, to stumble to their dorms and call it a night. Pavarti and Dean were making out on the stairs, and Lavendar and Seamus were making out somewhere else, neither showing concern as to where Bella was.
Harry came in with Hermione and Ginny. He still seemed in a bad mood, waiting to reconcile with Bella. As he came in he saw Ron and Harry, sleeping and snuggling infront of the fire. Bella was even wearing Ron's sweater. Harry's stomach jumped with jealously, rage, disappointment, anger, envy, confusion-what the hell were they doing.
"What's happening over there?" Hermione asked.
"I don't know." Harry said.
"I'll go wake them." Ginny offered.
"Just leave them, I wouldn't know what to say yet." Harry said. "Let's just go to bed." So off they went, each heading up to their own dormitories. Harry sat in bed, fuming, trying to think of a good explination as to why his girlfriend was cuddling with his best friend. There was none. New questions were etching in his mind. What's between them? How long has it been going on? Is this just based on Harry's actions at the ball? Who's fault was it? What did Ron have that Harry didn't?
Ron awoke, realizing that the ball must be over. He woke up Bella. "Do you think Harry saw us?" Ron asked.
"I don't care-I want to be with you," she said, and she kissed him.
"Let's get to bed." Ron said. "I'm tired,"
"I want to stay here," Bella said, snuggling more into Ron.
"We're lucky we didn't get caught as it is." Ron said, "Let's just get to bed." She walked with him to his dorm and gave him another kiss before she went back to her dorm.
"Have fun?" Hermione said, as she got in.
"Well, I broke up with Harry, if that's fun.." Bella replied
"No, no, no. I meant with Ron." Hermione said. Bella heart stopped.
"What do you mean?" she asks.
"Well, we all saw you and him sleeping in the middle of the common room."
"Who's 'we all'?"
"Me, and Ginny," Hermione said, as Bella took a sigh of relief. "and Harry."
"Shit," Bella muttered.
"Seriously, Bella, why Ron? You had Harry Potter." Pavarti said, she had been eaves dropping the whole conversation. "He's got nothing on Harry."
"You're supposed to be my friend Pavarti. Not Harry's, not Hermione's, mine. Why don't you or Lavendar stick up for me? I support you even if you're wrong. And I'm not wrong."
"But he's Harry Potter. He's such a good catch, we don't want you to make a decision you''ll regret. You're going to wreck their friendship if you don't call it off with Ron, and we know you still like Harry."
As Ron walked into his common room Harry stood up from his bed. "Ron, come here." He said. Ron could not see Harry's firsts clenching. As soon was Ron was a foot away, Harry punched him across the face.
"Harry-what the hell?" He said, and as Ron removed his hand from his cheek Harry punched him again.
"What the hell were you doing with Bella!?" He yelled.
"I really like her." Ron said.
"Yeah! You wait until we have a fight and you pounce on her!"
"It's not like that at all!"
"Please Ron, explain it to me. I'm dieing to know why my girlfriend cheated on me."
"You guys just broke up." Ron said "Um it started a few weeks ago."
"What do you mean?"
"Well she kinda flirted with me, and I kissed her."
"So this is your fault!" Harry said.
"And I said we couldn't do anything. And we did once, and then we didn't until just now. I'm sorry but I love her, and she feels the same."
"You bloddy back stabbing bastard liar." Harry said, as she kneed Ron in the stomach.
