“ James! Come quick! There something in the Room of Requirement that you have to see!” Sirius Black yelled as he came running into the Gryffindor Common Room. “What is it?” James Potter asked. He was slightly annoyed that Sirius had come well he was doing his potions homework, but he was very interested to know what was in the Room of Requirement. You see, very few people knew about this room. It could become any kind of room that you want. If someone really had to go to the bathroom the room would turn into a magnificent bathroom, but if they went back to find this splendid bathroom it would be gone and you wouldn’t know how to find it again.
“There’s no time to explain. We have got to hurry! It might disappear.” Sirius said, a hint of desperation in his voice. “I don’t know. I really should finish this potions homework and besides, can‘t you just think it back?” James said. “ I don’t remember what I was thinking about. James. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese come. I promise you wont regret it.” Now you could really tell that Sirius was desperate. He NEVER EVER begged, but right now he was on his knees giving James the puppy dog pout. James sighed. “ Fine. I’ll come, but this better be good or I’ll hex you into next week!”
They ran out of there common room and through the halls. They didn’t even stop to hex Snape for insulting them when they ran past him. That’s when James knew Sirius had to show him something that was very important because it was there pastime to hex Snape.
“Go in.” Sirius said, as they came to a halt in front of the Room of Requirement. “ Are you coming in?” James asked Sirius slightly confused. “ I have to find Moony first.” “ Will the thing in there be gone when you get back?” “ No! Trust me.” Sirius said quickly. “Alright Padfoot. I’ll see you when you get back.” With that said James walked into the Room of Requirement and to his astonishment, he saw Lily Evans sitting on a big bed.
“ Like I’m supposed to believe that story.” A very angry Lily Evans said.
“ Like I wanted to spend my Saturday night in a room with you. Especially in a room that looks like this.” an equally angry James Potter said.
The Room of Requirement had become an extremely small bedroom. You couldn’t walk because a big bed took up all the space. The bed had a deep red silk comforter on it and the walls were a deep shade of red to match it. Also, every ten minutes this cheesy romantic music would start playing for about 2 minutes. This is what made Lily so angry. She thought James had come up with the whole idea because it is something that James would have done. James was angry because Lily wouldn’t believe that it was Remus and Sirius’s idea. And they were both angry that they had to sit on the bed together.
“ I just thought of something.” James said. “ Oh yeah. What is it?” Lily asked not really caring what his idea was. “What if they forgot to lock the door?” James said, ignoring Lily’s last comment. “ Do you really think there that stupid?” Lily shouted at the top of her lungs. “ They could be.” James answered, but he decided to let it drop, for now.
“ Alright. What’s your story?” James asked her.
“ Lily. I’ve been looking for you everywhere!” Remus said as he ran into the library. “Why?” Lily asked. “ A new room appeared on one of the floors and a first year got trapped in it. She won’t come out for any one but she keeps calling your name. We think if you go into the room she’ll come out with you.” Remus said very quickly. “ Oh No! We have to hurry! Lead the way Remus!” Lily said as she jumped up from her chair earning herself a glare from the librarian because she made so much noise. “Lets go!” he said.
Lily and Remus ran out of the library and through the hallways, up stairs, and took as many shortcuts as possible, not caring that people were staring at them like they were crazy.
“There it is.” Remus said in between breaths. He pointed to a door. “Go ahead and go in.” “Alright. I’ll be out in a few minutes.” Lily said well trying to catch her breath. When she had caught it, she walked into the room.
“Then I walked in here and looked under the bed for the first year then I sat on the bed because I thought that she had left. Then you walked in and I learned that this was all a trap.” “I am going to get back at them so badly.” James said through clenched teeth. “Can we focus on getting out of here please. Then you and I can get revenge on them.” Lily said her temper rising. “Fine.” James said surprised that Lily wanted to help him get revenge on his mates and that Lily seemed to have realized that Sirius and Remus had set them up.
“ I’m going to see if the door is unlocked.” James said. Lily didn’t answer him so he got up and hoped towards the door. He reached for the handle, he turned it. It was unlocked. He opened the door, but he quickly closed it again. James turned to Lily and said “ They didn’t need to lock the door Evans.” “Why not Potter?.” Lily asked sarcastically. “ Well, we’re snowed in.”
