“Harry. Wake up!!” A voice called. What is it a dream? He was at the Durselys but heard a familiar voice call him. He looked up. At the window was Ron Weasely, and Hermione Granger. “Harry, you git, wake up!! Were smuggling you out.” Ron called out. Harry sprang up and quickly packed his trunk. He stepped by the window. Realizing he was only in his boxers he felt quite embarrassed having Hermione standing by his window. “Privacy?” He said. “Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Sorry. That’s what I get for having me two best friends being guys. Stupid me.” Hermione babbled. She never babbled, what was up with her? Hermione disappeared. While Harry was dressing Hermione was in the taxi sitting, thinking of what she just saw. “Damn.” She thought. “Harry has a nice set of abs.” Whoa wait. She just remembered. She isn’t supposed to fancy him. He is her Best friend. And she sure wasn’t gonna let a nice pair of abs in the way of that.
“Sorry about that Hermione.” Harry apologized. “If I would have known you two were coming for me, I would have been dressed more, err, properly should I say.” “No big deal at all.” She said. She just started thinking. What if I do like Harry as more than a friend? She looked over at him, his green eyes sparkling. His eyes are fantastic she thought. Why had she never realized this before? But she didn’t know that the person sitting opposite of her was thinking the same thing about her. “Wow.” Harry thought. Hermione had developed over the summer. (If you know what I mean) She was looking less like his bookworm friend and more like a girl he could actually start liking.
They arrived at the Burrow a couple hours later. Hermione paid the driver in muggle money and then walked up the drive. “Harry, we brought you here early because, well, I couldn’t leave you at the Durselys any longer. You didn’t return my letters and I was extremely worried about you.” She said. “Can we talk alone, please? I need to tell you something I can’t tell Ronald.” So Harry walked with her to the end of the garden behind the Burrow. “Harry, Ginny is really fancying you. And she told me not to tell but the way she talks about you, I just couldn’t keep the secret bottled up inside me any longer. And don’t tell Ron because you know he is very protective of Ginny.” She explained “But lately I myself have been contemplating whom I fancy. And I know I can trust you with the secret. Harry on the taxi ride home from Privet Drive I noticed your eyes. How green they were. And when I saw you in your boxers how much muscle you have put on. And I just wanted to tell you how I feel. Oh and tell Ginny about this conversation and get a really good bat boogey hex.”
“Hermione, I didn’t know you felt that way about me. I mean, I have actually felt that way lately also. Especially in the taxi when I saw you. You grew your hair out, and it’s become straighter. And you’ve become to look more like a sexy young girl I could like.” Harry said. Unsure if some of his choice of words were appropriate. Hermione leaned her head on Harry’s shoulder, unsure if it was the right thing to do. She was then reassured by Harry’s warm embrace as he wrapped his arm around her. They sat there in silence for what seemed to Hermione almost forever.
Then Harry finally said “I can smell Mrs. Weaslys cooking. And im starved.” But before he stood up he pecked Hermione awkwardly on the cheek. “Can we keep this conversation and out time together between us, for Ginny’s sake. She really likes you Harry. And now I know how she feels. You’re very, and I mean, very likeable. Especially your eyes.”Hermionie explained. Then he reached out his hand to help her up. Hermione gave Harry a hug. Then Harry did something extremely unexpected in his book. He tilted up Herminie’s chin and kissed her. She was taken aback. His lips were so soft, yet rough. They were perfect in her opinion. He caressed her cheek. She opened her mouth to let Harry’s tongue in. Their snog session was getting extremely heated. “Harry… Hermione…. Dinner is ready.” They heard Ron call out. “I guess we better head back.” Hermione said. She was kinda sad. That was her first, and she wanted it to continue. They walked back to the Burrow, Harry’s arm around her shoulder. She felt very protected. He put his arm down when they got closer to the Burrow. Hermione was actually glad of that. Ginny would die if she saw what Harry did to Hermione at the back of the garden. Hermione gave Harry a quick hug, and then ran ahead. Harry was thinking. ‘Should me and Hermione waste our friendship over some teenage hormones? What would Ron think? Would Ginny hate me? What would happen? Would Voldemort go after her if he started loving her?’ He didn’t know. All he knew at the moment was that he smelled Mrs. Weaselys home cooked meal and started running.
