"Lily? Lily?!" Courtney shouted at Lily who apparently fell asleep.
"What!? Oh." Lily said rubbing her eyes.
Trixie and Courtney stared at Lily for a while who was looking awfully tired.
"Ok, spill. What did you do last night?" Trixie finally said.
"What I didn't do anything last night! What make you think that I did anything because I didn't do anything and if I did do something I would have known which proves that--" Lily began.
"Lily, shut up and tell us what you really did last night." Courntey ordered.
Did Lily really have a choice. These were her best friends. She tells them anything.
"Ok fine guys. But you have to promise not to tell. If any of you tell, I will never forgive you so promise not to tell." Lily begged them.
"Yes we promise." Trixie and Courntey said in unison.
"Ok well, it all started like this. ... ... ......." Lily started explaining with.

"Prongs, oh Prongs buddy? Wake up Sleeping Beauty!" Sirius hollered in James' ear.
"WHAT!? What? Oh." James said finally getting back to normal.
"Why are you so sleepy?" Peter asked.
"Just because of last night." James said bluntly.
"And what did you do last night?" Sirius asked suspiciously.
"Remember the ball?" James asked them.
"Yes, but we didn't see you there half the time. Where were you off at?" Remus asked also acting suspicious.
"No where. I was off no where." James said hoping that they would believe it.
"James, you may be our best friend but you are the worst liar in the world." Sirius said truthfully.
It was true, if there was a trophy for the best liar in the world, James wouldn't have a chance of winning it even if it was against a troll.
"Spill." Peter said to James.
"Oh no they got me. Should I tell them? Yes, No, Yes, No? Damn it Potter make up your mind!" James thought intensely in his mind.
He finally made a decision.
"Fine, I'll tell you but you have to promise not to tell a living soul."James said seriously.
"Okay, we promise." they all said together.
"Well, . .. ... ......."James started explaining with.

"...And that's how it ended." Lily finally said as she finished her explanation.
She looked at her friends who looked completely dumbstrucken.
"We thought you weren't going to see him anymore." Courntey said with concern.
"I know but I couldn't help it." Lily said.
"You sound like you really like him." Trixie pointed out.
"I don't." Lily said. "Do I?" Lily thought to herself.

"...And that's how the story ended." James finished with.
He stared amongst his friends and they looked so uneasy.
"So that's what Lily has been doing while she was out." Peter finally said.
"But James, are you sure that this whole thing with Lily is safe?" Remus asked concerningly.
"I don't know what to think right now." James said feeling upset.
"You guys promise not to tell right?" James asked once again assuringly.
"Yes we promise." the other Marauders said.
James took one glance at Lily and thought,"Will she be okay?" He would never want Lily to be hurt and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for her to get hurt.
Was the phantom really safe at all?
This was the question that everyone wanted to know.
