Chapter 6: The Breakfast Challenge {Part One}

Team 5: The Arse Kickers

Ginny and Smith had spent the whole night talking and scheming ways to sneak a muggle into Hogwarts. Ginny was amazed to find that Smith could actually be nice when he wanted to.

“Yeah, but we don’t have an invisablity cloak!” said Ginny. Smith sighed.

“Yeah, but it would work,” he said.

“Well, it doesn’t matter if it’ll work for someone we need it to work for us! And besides, wouldn’t the muggle notice when we became invisible?” Ginny replied, looking at her watch, “It’s 8:30. When do you think Fred and George will be here?”

“Right now,” said Fred, climbing up the ladder and into the classroom with George behind him. Ginny rolled her eyes. Fred and George walked over to them.

“Well?” asked George.

“Well what?” asked Ginny smirking.

“What’s your team name?” asked Fred.

“The Arse Kickers,” replied Smith confidently. Ginny grinned at him and then at her brothers. They laughed.

“Ok, The Arse Kickers it is!” said George as he scribbled something on a sheet of parchment he was holding. They turned around and started to walk away.

“Hey!” yelled Ginny.

“Yes?” said Fred, turning around while George went down the ladder.

“When’s breakfast?” asked Ginny. Fred smiled.

“Any minute now,” he said. Then he climbed down the ladder after George. Ginny groaned.

“What’s wrong?” asked Smith. Ginny sighed.

“Knowing Fred and George we’re going to have to work for our breakfast,” said Ginny. And she was right. A minute later a house elf appeared in front of them with a pop!

“Yes?” said Ginny politely.

“Excuse Wonky, ma’am, sir, but Wonky has been instructed to give you your breakfast,” said the house elf named Wonky, looking at them with his big amber eyes. Ginny looked up from the floor hopefully. Maybe they wouldn’t have to work after all, “But I have been told by the masters not to give it to you unless you,” the house elf pointed to Ginny, “stand on his,” Wonky pointed to Smith, “shoulders. Then the mister has to run around with the misses on his shoulders screaming ‘I’m a looser!’ at the top of his lungs,” finished the house elf.

“Well that’s not too hard,” said Ginny looking at Smith.

“Easy for you to say,” he said, “You don’t have to run around with someone on your shoulders!” Ginny waved her hand at him as if to say ‘It doesn’t matter right now, get over it,’ and stood up. Smith did the same.

“Ok,” said Ginny. Smith and Wonky looked at her, “Now you squat down and I’ll sit on your shoulders. Then I’ll stand up and you slowly stand up too. After that you only have to run for as long as it takes you to say ‘I’m a looser!’ Then you can drop me. Softly. Got it?” Smith nodded and Ginny took her shoes off, so now she was wearing a t-shirt, jeans and socks. Smith bent down and Ginny sat on his shoulders. Smith was surprised at how light she was. Ginny slowly raised herself up so that now she was she was squatting on Smith’s shoulders. Slowly she stood up and Smith took off at a slow run. Ginny had to hold onto Smith’s head to stay on his shoulders.

Smith shouted “I’malooser!” and dropped Ginny onto a pouf before plopping down next to her. Wonky, who had watched this whole scene, clapped his hands.

“Good job sir and ma’am. Here is your food,” he said. Then, with a pop, he disappeared and a table full of food appeared in his place. Ginny and Smith grinned at each other and started to eat.
