Faith and Corey started to get dressed around 2. Faith put on a pair of ripped jeans with flip-flops and a tight red tank. Corey was wearing a black skirt with the same red tank as Faith and slip flops. They both had the arm bands Lily game them; they were half black half red and were worn on the upper right arm.
They both decided to wear their hair down and put on some make up.
At 4 the three boys rang the doorbell. Corey answered it and let them inside.
“Aww crap, I forgot to tell you guys.” Corey scolded herself.
“Forgot to tell us what?” Sirius asked.
“Well you generally wear the colors of the team you’re supporting, Lily’s team colors are red and black, and you should wear these arm bands as well.” Corey handed them armbands identical to her own.
“Alright, we’ll go change real quick, don’t go anywhere.” James winked and the boys ran back over to his house, they all wore red tee-shirts and kept their jean shorts on.
Sirius was about to ring the door bell when Faith opened the door. “Come on guys, get in the car.” She instructed.
“We’re taking a car!” James exclaimed “AMSOME!” None of the boys had ever ridden in a car before.
“Yes well Lily insisted that we get our muggle licenses, rather useful.” Corey stated as she jumped in, she had a black mustang convertible, Corey drove, Faith took shotgun and the 3 Marauders had to squeeze in the back seat, but it surprisingly was very roomy.
“Wow, a lot more space then it looks.” Remus said as he inspected the inside of the car from his seat.
“Yes, well, we had my father make a few, um, modification.” Corey said as she pulled out.
“So how long is this going to take?” Sirius asked, already bored.
“Umm, 2 to 3 hours?” Faith said uncertainly.
“We’re not exactly sure how to get there, but we’ll figure it out.” Corey said, her voice wasn’t exactly reassuring.
“We’re doomed!” James said dramatically.
About 2 hours later they were a little, lost, very lost.
“We’re going to starve!” Sirius wailed!
“Do you always only think of food?!” Corey screeched, she was feeling a little stressed, being lost and all.
“Here, here!” Remus shouted, “Make a right here and we’re back on the highway again.”
“Thank god.” Corey sighed in relief; they knew where they were again.
“Good thing Remus is so smart.” Faith said without thinking, she immediately blushed a deep shade of pink.
“Yes well how long till we get there?” James asked, he was always saving Faith form these awkward situations she got herself into.
“Little less then an hour, keep you pants on, jeez.” Corey said, still a little cranky from their episode of just being lost.
The 3 Marauders in the back exchanged evil grins and slide their pants off, leaving their boxers on of course, then the simultaneously threw their pants into the front.
“EEEE!” Corey screeched as Sirius’ pants covered her eyes while she was driving, she brushed the offending article of clothing aside and right into the busy highway.
“Bloody Hell!” Sirius yelled.
Corey pulled onto the shoulder and looked in the back seat to she 3 Marauders in their boxers, Faith was officially a tomato after looking a Remus and Corey felt her cheeks tingle after looking at Sirius, but she recovered, “Well that was brilliant.” She said sarcastically “Cover the driver’s eyes and have someone lose their pants, whose were they anyways?”
“Mine.” Said Sirius, he sounded somewhat proud, they other two Marauders were pulling their pants back on.
Faith looked at the busy highway, the pants had been run over and were in the middle of the street, “Well you’re not getting those back anytime soon, we’d best just stop in the clothing store and buy you some new ones. Only I’ve only got wizarding money on me.”
“Same here.” The 3 Marauders said.
“Honestly, if it wasn’t for me you’d all… I don’t know, but something would happen to you all.” Corey said, exasperated.
They stopped at the next clothing store they came upon and Corey went in with Sirius. Corey just shook her head at all the people that gave her odd stares being as she was walking next a boy that had no pants on.
Sirius bought some pants and pulled them on right at the register. “Well that was rather embarrassing.” Corey stated.
“Embarrassing, more like hysterical, not like we’re going to see any of these people again, and did you see the looks on their faces?” Sirius was laughing now.
“True.” Corey replied, she had an evil idea. Corey and Sirius were standing a few feet away from the register and Corey went behind Sirius and pulled down his pants, she hadn’t meant for is boxers to come down as well, then she took off out of the store laughing like a maniac.
Sirius quickly pulled his pants up after getting several disapproving looks and ran out after Corey.
“Corey Wagner! Did you really just flag me!?” Sirius shouted to her.
“It’s not like you’re ever going to see them again!” Corey laughed at Sirius.
Sirius could help but start laughing, he’d just said that two seconds ago and now he had to take his own advice, he hoped in his car and even though he was laughing there was no doubt that the reason his cheeks were red was from embarrassment. “Alright Corey, you’ve got me there, I have to admit I was not expecting that.” Sirius was grinning, ‘She’d make an alright Marauder’ he thought to himself and looked at her proudly “I’ve taught you well.”
“Yeah yeah, whatever you said.” Corey waved him off but inside she was beaming, she didn’t see the front of Sirius but she’d seen his backside, and it was rather nice, plus she was laughing and joking with Sirius Black. This day was going well.
Soon enough they entered a huge parking lot, it was pretty chaotic. There was a blocked off section where the cars of the participants were and James saw about 6 cars that looked identical to the one that was outside of Corey’s house this morning. They parked the car and made the lengthy trek to the stage, it was an outdoor event, though the stage was covered people didn’t have seats it was just a big grass field and you stood there and watched. It was 7 O’clock, one hour till it started and the place was already very busy.
“Well,” started Faith “we’re here.”
“Yup, I guess this is it.” Corey said, not really sure of what they should be doing.
They had gotten fairly close to the stage, kind of in the middle and just waited around and talked before the show started, at 8 O’clock exactly it was sufficiently dark out and the lights on the stage went on and the lights surrounding the field dimmed.
It was show time.
