Background:   Font color:

April 4, 1978.
Remeus Lupin was sitting at one of the tables in Hogwarts' grand library. A few Charms books in a pile in front of him. Scattered pieces of parchments covered his working space and an ink bottle almost sit there forgotten. Its owner, was trying to concentrate so hard, so many ideas that he had earliar somehow disappeared from his mind. Just as he got one, he was about to write it down, when one of his best friends, sat down beside him. Scareing him to death, and making him jump, Remeus' hand knocked over the ink bottle, spilling its contains over his many papers.

"Oh, sorry about that mate." His best friend said as he fixed his dark hair. That friend was Sirius Black, also known to Remeus as Padfoot.

"Its ok Padfoot." Remeus said. His teeth were clutched, you could tell that he was mad. "Wait a second, what are you doing in the library?"

"Can't a guy come here and study for his Charms test?" Sirius asked.

"Yes, but you can't. Where is she?"

"What do you mean dear Moony?"

"The girl. There has to be a girl somewhere."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Padfoot sounded like he had a huge secret.

"You're hiding something from me. I know it." Moony said in a I-knew-you-for-7-years-so-I-know-when-you-are-lieing-or-not type of voice.

"Ok fine. I'll tell you later."

"Fine, I have patience." Remeus said as he continued working. After getting new parchments of course.

* * * *

"Where is James?" Sirius asked.

"I dunno. I told him to be here." Remeus said.

"Probably with his Lily flower." Sirius mummbled.

"Yeah. Do you know where Peter is?I haven't seen him since last class. And that was like 6 hours ago."

"Good question. Hes been missing alot lately, probably got a girlfriend or something like that. Who knows."

Moony and Padfoot both jumped as a figure put his hand on each of their shoulders.

"James, why do you have to go and scare us like that?"

" 'Cause its fun. You should have seen the looks on your faces." James said while he was laughing.

"Whatever." Moony said.

"So, why did you ask me to met you outside the library, with my invisibility cloak? And at 10 o'clock at night." James asked.

"Because, Prongs, a few nights ago, I borrowed your invisibility cloak, and just for kicks, came to look around in the restricted section of the library." Padfoot told him.

"Whats so special about that? We do that alot." Remeus said puzzled.

"Well I found this book on time travel.........." He was cut off by Remeus.

"Is this another one of hair-brained ideas?"

"Nope. Could you let me finish?" Padfoot and Prongs became silent. "Thank-you, as I was saying before I was rudely interupted. I found this book on time travel. It seemed really interesting. So I opened it. And it had this spell that could let you travel through time."

"Well thats shocking, a time travel spell in a time travel book. Who would have guessed?" Prongs said sarcasticly.

"Thats what I thought."

" I was just being-........nevermind."

"So maybe we could check the spell out?"

"Ok fine, Sirius, but we had better not get caught." Said a concerned Moony.

"We won't. Come on."

Sirius pulled James' invisibility cloak over his two friends. Took The Maruder's Map out. He then whispered the password to open it up, and then opened the library doors.
The library was dark and deserted, and very quiet. The three boys silently walked down pass the shelves of books towards the restricted section.

"Do you know what you are looking for, Sirius?" James asked after a while. Sirius was looking everywhere, at every book on every shelf.

"Yes, its a huge purple book with the word 'Tempus' written on the front, in purple letters."

"Hey is this it?" Remeus asked. He pulled a purple book off a shelf that was about his height.

"Good work, Moony."

Sirius took the book and set it down on the floor. Sat down beside it, opened to the page about the time travel spell. His two friend sat down by him.

"Ok here it'This spell allows magic people to cast themselfs into the past or future. In doing so they will stay in the place that they wish until a counter-curse is performed. But when they perform the counter-curse and go back to their regular time. They will NOT remember where they went or what happened.' That seems pretty simple enough. What do you think?"

"Why did you show us this?" Prongs questioned.

"Because. Have you ever wondered what the future is like? I always wanted to go into the future."

"I never knew that." Remeus said.

"Its not something I go around telling people."Sirius explained. "Do you think we should do it?"

"Er- I don't know. Won't it be dangerous? I read about that dangers of time travel. Its not the easiest thing in the world............"

"Did you not listen while I was reading, Moony? It says that we won't remember anything. What can happen?"

"He has a point Remeus." James said.

"I don't care go ahead then."

"Ok the spell is 'Perago Aetas.' You have to think of the year that you wish to go to." Sirius said as he was reading from the purple book. "How does the year 2005 sound?"

"Good." Said his friends at the same time.

"27 years in the future here we come."

James ripped the piece of paper out of the book, just in case and then the three boys took out their wands and imagined the year 2005 in their heads. They pointed their wands towards themselves and whispered 'Peragro Aetas' under their breaths. All of a sudden their surroundings changed to a room. A girl's room. With a bed, closet, and all the girl stuff.

April.4, 2005.

"Where are we Prongs?" A nervous Sirius asked. When they went into the future he had expected that they would still be at Hogwarts.

"In the future, duh." James said.

"No, where are we." He asked him again.

"That I do not know, Padfoot. I do not know."

A/N: I know that Peter isn't in the story. But what he did to Lily and James was totally messed up. So he isn't allowed in MY story. Heehee.
