Author's Response: Well a lot of people had complained of me not having much of Cho & 'Mione alone or being affectionate and what not, so this was just that..I am currently writing a "ten years later" kind of deal and chapter one s nearly finished and that'll be more of them as a couple interacting with the rest of the world but it was nice to just write this and clear up what I had left very open in previous chapters... thank you very much for your r/r!

I thought that it was nice you showed that anyone can go out with whoever they want, gender shouldn't matter. The only problem, was that I always thought Hermione was destined for Ron, but your story was definately a different one! Also, I thought the way you said people were talking about them and Harry was sort of uncomfortable about it, even though he chose to accept it, was pretty realistic.

(Warning: Complete Honesty) Okay...I have to say, I love the idea. There's nothing at all in canon pointing to it, but it's great...sort of AU, but still great. Unfortunately, your writing skills were not up to the task of making it amazing. I liked the scene between Cho and Hermione, though. Somehow you really made them work. The rest of it, however, could use a little jazzing up...I don't know, Harry was a bit dull, and the story was a bit too short to squeeze everything into, and you didn't really create much conflict. Because I appreciate the idea so much, I propose a total rewrite (only if you want to, obviously), with more feeling, more flow, and more description. Of course, your style is your style and you deserve to keep it that way, but at present your writing is just average. Plain old average. You proofread fairly well (though the spelling mistakes in your summary are a major turn-off--that's my biggest piece of advice, your summary is your only advertisement, so make it good--make it even better than good). This story could be passionate and moving, or at least I think so, but at the moment it isn't. It's rather blah. Perhaps more from Hermione's point of view? I'm not saying turn it into an angsty-lesbian fiasco, because you seem to like lighter writing, but you could definately use more depth and development. So there's my two-cents. Use it however you like. You certainly have potential as a writer (especially if you're young right now, but I wouldn't know), but as of now you're not at your best. In any case, good luck! Never stop writing!
