Review #2, by Ron 4 Hermione Your Memory is Breaking My Heart

3rd October 2016:
Hey there, Iím here to review your entry for the Chosen by you challenge. (Sorry itís so late!)

Well first that was most definitely not horrible! I thoroughly enjoyed reading that, and my main complaint is that it wasnít long enough! :P

The ship from your prompt was Charlie Weasley/Nymphadora Tonks and youíve definitely managed to fulfil that. Poor Charlie, he was totally in Love with Tonks and she didnít even know it! I think that the use of two different years, especially with the large gap in between them, really shows just how much he loved her. You hear of them two being teenage crushes at school but this is so much more than a crush for Charlie, and itís so heart breaking.

That leads nicely onto your genre which was angst and I donít think anyone could argue that this isnít angst filled! I especially love the flashback as I think it really brings home just how long heís loved her for which just makes this even more tragic. Also the last line is awful, but in a good way! The image of Charlie trying not to cry while all the while staring at Tonkís son who looks like her is heart breaking.

This is a very well written piece, short but heart breaking! I loved reading it! :)

The results should be posted shortly, good luck!
- Shaza

Author's Response: OH MY GODRICK I LITERALLY JUST SAW THE CHALLENGE HALL OF FAME AND I WAS LIKE OH MY! Thank you so much for posting the challenge, I really didn't think I was going to get first.

I'm glad that I fulfilled both of my prompts because I was super worried about that.

Yes, he really did love Tonks, I really wanted to portray that.

... Well, maybe I'll write a sequel or a companion...

Thank you so much for your review, and for the challenge. Have a lovely day!

Review #3, by Crumple-Horned Snorkac Your Memory is Breaking My Heart

8th September 2016:
Greetings from the Crumple-Horned Snorkack, who has taken this day to venture out of my northern boreal forest home and into the internet to read fanfic. How wonderful that I found this one!

This poor human, to be suffering so many losses at one time. If I could, I'd suggest to him that he hide deep in the forest, as far north as he can get. That's an effective cure for all sadness, I've found. In fact, it's the solution to just about anything. Just ask my friend Bigfoot, I'm sure he would agree too.

I like this Tonks, though. She seems like a real joker, to trick Charlie into swimming even though the water is freezing. Poor Charlie - cold water is no fun, and I sympathise! My friend the Loch Ness Monster is always trying to convince me to swim in the Loch by saying it's warmer than it is.

The end of this story is very sad though, how even 25 years later, when Charlie sees Tonks' son, all the heartbreak comes back because Teddy looks so much like her. Poor sweet human. His emotions come through so clearly in the story. He did manage to keep himself together rather well though, despite that.

What a beautiful story - sad and haunting, but very well done. I'm glad I stopped by. But now, I am late to meet my friend Nessie at the lake. She says the water is warm this time, but I'm not so sure.

Author's Response: Oh well hello, and welcome (back?) to civilization. I'm very glad you found my story, and even more glad that you were kind enough to leave a review.

I don't have a lot of experience with this kind of story, but I'm definitely proud of it.

I'm glad you liked it, and I hope that you have a safe trip back to the forest!

Review #4, by toomanycurls Your Memory is Breaking My Heart

26th August 2016:

*calms down*

The tone in this is so mature and well done for such a somber moment. I'm excited that you ship charlie/tonks, even if nothing happened between them. Ooh, man, it sounds like Charlie has hit a really rough patch with life. :(

I kinda think it'll be hard to avoid meeting Teddy. With Harry/Ginny being his godparents and by extension part of the Weasley family. It'd be tough though.

awww :( :( It' so terribly sad he's still brokenhearted over Tonks 26-ish years after she died. I loved is flashback though, Tonks is perfect in that memory.

You really hit on the angst very well. I am curious how he avoided meeting Teddy for so long though.

Very well done story!

Author's Response: Hello Rose!

Actually I don't really ship them, this was for the Chosen By You challenge, so Pookha chose this for me. I did enjoy writing it however.

Yeah, definitely. I mean, Ginny's his sister, Teddy is super close to the Wotters, all that.

Thank you so much for the review Rose, much love! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Review #5, by Anonymous Muggle Your Memory is Breaking My Heart

23rd August 2016:
This is beautifully written.

I feel that it is some of your best work to date. I have enjoyed many of your stories and this is my new favourite.

I also thought that the angst was quite sophisticated. Five stars!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. Wow, you've read some of my other stories, I'm curious to know which ones. I'm so glad the angst was enough, I was super worried!

Have an amazing day, and thanks again for your review.

Yours sincerely,
