Review #1, by ABlack You Don't Even Know Me

2nd March 2016:
Hey there!

So finally we get some insight on Draco before Sarah runs off. Interesting that he finds everyone exhausting to be around, but perhaps not as intriguing as her taste in books. Anne Rice? Would it be the vampires or the Mayfair witches that has enchanted Sarah? Either way, itís details like this that can help make a story.

Anyways, I know I mentioned this in my first review, Iíd like to invite you over to the forums. I can assure you that weíre a friendly, crazy bunch! Until next time Ö

Review #2, by ABlack A Glimpse Into Draco

2nd March 2016:
Here I am again. Have I mentioned you handle descriptions well in your writing? You give just enough but not so much as to be overwhelming. Good work describing the Great Hall from the perspective of a foreign student. I would point out, though, that the bird on the Ravenclaw coat of arms is actually a eagle. I know, it probably would more sense if it was a raven, but there it is.

Iím curious that it seems Sarah would believe Professor Snape would only know who she was based on her looks. Wouldnít Dumbledore have informed him of a new student in his House, and if not that, then at least to expect her in his class? Still, I canít wait to see how she interacts with the formidable Potions Master.

Also I wonder what her old school must have been like. Will you be giving more details about it as the story goes along?

Finally, what's up with Draco?

Review #3, by ABlack Awkward Encounters

2nd March 2016:
So I decided to come back to read more of your story. Ah, Sarah quickly goes from the common room to meeting the first of the Weasley clan before Draco starts in on her again. I love his nickname for Hermione - ďHer-hinnyĒ. Too funny! So she tends to lend towards fixing broken people? Oh my, Draco isnít the only one with that problem at Hogwarts. This should be interesting.

Now, there are just a few things Iíd like to point out along the lines of concrit. There are extra spaces between your paragraphs. Also a few times two characters talk and their dialogue appears on the same line when it should be two separate paragraphs.

For example, "It means, 'cool' here," he said, "Is it alright if I sit with you?" "Sure," I said.

Perhaps thatís also a formatting hiccup. Iíve had it happen a few times as well. Other than that, it seems like you have a good idea of where this story is headed. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Review #4, by ABlack Where it Started

2nd March 2016:
Hi there!

Iíd like to welcome you to HPFF. It looks like this is your first story on the archives! Congratulation in taking that first step.

I have to admit I was drawn to your story partially because one of my own tales features a female student from the US who ends up at Hogwarts for her sixth year. I wanted to see how another writer handled that type of situation, and you did not disappoint. I love your take on the Slytherin common room. I donít think Iíve ever seen it depicted with a glass wall viewing the Lake. Quite a unique twist!

Sarah herself is an interesting character. Sheís brash and independent and not adverse to having a strong opinion of things. With how quickly she sizes up Draco during their initial interaction, I canít wait to see what happens when she encounters Professor Snape.

Anyways, if youíd ever like to connect with other people who enjoy writing for the archives, I suggest you head over to our forums. We discuss writing, help each other, and even play games. My name there is Alexis Black and Iím a proud member of Slytherin. Currently some of us are participating in Operation Green with Envy, a competition in which we spread forum love. I do hope you consider joining the forums.
