HPFF Twitter Flash Challenge

Hi there!

I was scanning the new one-shots for something to read and I came across this story. I saw that it was your first one-shot, so I thought I'd drop in and check it out.

I really enjoyed the two moments that you covered in this particular challenge. I was happy that you carried a sort of bittersweet tone throughout the story because with a war going on, I think it would be quite realistic for Lily and James to feel a bit of anxiety about a pregnancy.

I thought you did a great job of characterizing that stubborn quality in James. Even though there's a prophecy, he's going to change things with sheer force of will. That seems to fit with him in cannon quite well.

I also really enjoyed the fact that they went to a muggle doctor for ultra sounds. I feel like it would at times be hard for Lily to completely give up everything muggle, so I thought this was a nice way to incorporate her background.

The only small bit of CC I have for you is on formatting. You have some really massive gaps between your paragraphs and it makes it a little difficult to read. To fix this, you can go into the edit chapter section, switch to simple editor, delete the extra spaces, and then re-submit it. That should make the spacing look more normal.

All in all, a lovely first one-shot! Congratulations!
