Review #1, by -R Books and Rain Do Not Mix

31st December 2016:
Such a lovely little Muggle AU, having been away from Harry/Hermione fanfiction for awhile this was a lovely welcome back. Well written and a satisfying ending that left you room to imagine what came next for them. Thanks!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you R! This was my first try at a Muggle AU so I'm glad it transferred over well! I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Harry & Hermione, so this felt like the right way to end it -- not super conclusive because they have so many different options as a pair. Thanks for reading! :)

I normally don't read muggle AUs but this story...it was adorable, well written, and is satisfying my Harry and Hermione craving! (Diehard Dramione shipper almost exclusively.) Loved it!

Author's Response: Aw thank you so much! This was a nice little break and change of pace for me from writing my dark Dramione novel so I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun piece to write for sure since it was my first foray into legitimate AUs as well.

Thanks for the review :)

Review #3, by victoria_anne Books and Rain Do Not Mix

11th March 2016:

Hi Madi!

Oh lordy this is the sweetest story since sliced bread.

Wait, I got that wrong.

But seriously, how typical of Hermione to get completely lost in a book, ignoring everything going on around her, including that fact that it's about to rain! (Your descriptions of the park are to die for, by the way. Amazing)

And Harry you cutie patootie! What a perfect coincidence that he should be watching Pride and Prejudice! I like how Hermione was being sneaky with her book to get his attention, that's exactly what I would be doing. But with a Harry Potter book in my bag, of course...

Aw I do enjoy a good Harry/Hermione in the morning. I love how easy they are together already. Is that the light of the future, I see, shining ever so brightly in the distance? My day is set now, thank you!

B x

Author's Response: Hi B! :)

This was a really fun little piece prompted to me by Lady Asphodel and so I took a fun turn with it! I'm so happy you think my muggle characterization of Hermione still shines through with her love of books and ability to get lost in them so easily! To be honest, the descriptions of the park are probably the only time I've ever spent that much time on setting the scene--I really wanted to give readers a beautiful park to imagine as the day goes on, so I'm very happy that you loved them!

I would also be doing the same with a Harry Potter book ;) I originally was going to make it a different movie but this just felt right. Plus the 2005 P & P is fantastic!! (And I highly recommend you watch it)

This was my first try at actually romantic Harry/Hermione so I'm glad you liked how they meshed together. I think that is the future you see! I'm happy this made your day bright, and your review made mine! :)

Review #4, by The Basilisk Books and Rain Do Not Mix

13th December 2015:
Very interesssting. Ssseeing a Muggle AU is not sssomething I have taken to reading often. Ssstill, it was a good ssstory, very sssweet. I am not exactly a fan of Hermione and Harry but all the sssame I liked the sstory. Very unique. You did a very nice job writing thisss. Great work making sssomething ssseemingly ssso sssimple very entertaining to read. There is a lot of potential with the universsse you have created here and makesss one wonder what may or may not have happened with other charactersss in this new universsse.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Basilisk! This was definitely something new for me as I'm typically a stickler for weaving my stories within a canon narrative (for the most part). I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought I did well with it! I almost am tempted to write something as a companion piece to this to explore what the other characters would be like too!

Thanks for the lovely review :)

Review #5, by Sinterklaas Books and Rain Do Not Mix

Ho, Ho, Hello! I've come bearing some Holiday Cheer!

I get caught up in the stubbornness of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, too because *huff* that Mr. Darcy...

I thought this Muggle AU was an absolutely wonderful idea, and I adore the way you've executed it! I also don't blame Harry for crying during Pride & Prejudice -- gets me every time.

Have a lovely Season!

Author's Response: Hello Sinterklaas! :)

Many thanks to Lady Asphodel for the prompt! I love Pride & Prejudice so I just had to find some way to incorporate it into this muggle AU and it turned into something so fluffy that I didn't know I could write!

Thanks for stopping by to spread holiday cheer :)

Review #7, by MalfoysCarolinaGirl2010 Books and Rain Do Not Mix

28th September 2015:
Tasha here for our swap.

I've never been one to read AU much but I really liked this one. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite novels and I like how this tied in, but I can't see Harry crying at a movie and it's hard to imagine the trio being muggles let alone not being friends.

I'm not one to give CC since I'm actually really bad at it and I'm afraid to come off as mean or hateful, but I didn't really notice anything out of place or odd so that's probably a moot point... :-\

Overall this was really well done and I really enjoyed reading it. :)

Peace Love and Tacos

Author's Response: Hi Tasha!

You know, I have to kind of agree with you about Harry crying--it's not in character for him, but as this is quite AU and OOC, I figured it would work. I kind of wish now I had written it as Hermione crying and Harry stumbling upon her on the tube, but I also am fond of it just how it is.

Thanks for the swap! :)
