Review #1, by Frankie05 All of Me

25th August 2015:
Hey Jayde,

I was offering up reviews and hugs on the forums and Tanya in her sweetness and goodness and kindness asked me to leave you a review and give you a hug. So *bear hug* for Jayde. Squish until you can't breathe because we all love you at HPFF. You are valuable. You are cherished. You are worthy.

Now onto the story. This was way out of range for me as it was completely two OC characters and the ties to the magical world were not HP but just the magical world themselves. You did a great job taking the reader through someone so original. I love that it is an interracial couple! *pumps fist* and this whole story is a beautiful description of marriage. I don't have children yet but all the other things I could perfectly relate to.

The mix of Spanish in their conversation was divine. Seriously a dream of mine is to speak a foreign language in my house and I love the way you wrote that in the story. I just love people and cultures and I think it was done magnificently.

The story went along splendidly with the song- I'm so impressed by it. Well done :). I don't have much critic because it was well written, well described, and a beautiful realistic story line. So yay!

Any more hugs you need you know where I'm at :)

Author's Response: Tanya is so amazing for doing this, and so are you!

I can't explain to you how much this review made my day, and even now reading back over it brings tears to my eyes. The things you said are just so kind and I really needed to hear them! I can only hope that someday, I can repay your kindness!

I'm so happy that you think I did a good job of taking the reader through someone original. This was my first time going with ONLY OCs, so that's good to hear!

Yes, it's an interracial couple - I think you're the first person who's mentioned that actually! ♥

I'm SO happy that you liked the Spanish and that you think I did it well! I know some people are thrown off by reading foreign languages in a fic, so I'm glad that you weren't! I know exactly what you mean about having a foreign language spoken in the house, and know that I've learned Spanish, that's definitely going to happen and I'm so excited and I wanted to convey that here! Languages are so much fun!

I'm so thrilled that you think the story went with the song well!

Thank you SO, SO much for this! *Squishes*

¡Me encanta esta historia! It's very powerful how their love stays so strong, even though it can be difficult at times. It fit well with the song, too.

I thought you did a great job weaving in the Spanish. :) My favorite was: "¿Aún no estás lista?" I always prefer "lista" over "ready" - it just sounds right somehow.

Each scene read like a crystallized snapshot of their life together. It was so well captured. I really loved it!

Author's Response: Renee!

Awww, thank you SO MUCH! I can't tell you how much it means to me that you took the time to stop by and read and review this! I'm so happy that you liked it!

Thank you so much for your kind words - I'm happy that you think it fits well with the song, and that I included the Spanish well! *hugs*

Haha - yes, 'lista' sounds a lot better than 'ready' to me, too, for some reason :P

Aw, thank you SO much for the compliments! *squishes*

Review #3, by Lady Asphodel All of Me

3rd May 2015:
Hey Jayde! Here for the April 2015 review exchange! :)

I enjoyed reading this very much, especially for this to be a song fic. Before, I read some song fics, but the song never really suits the story.

This one however, truly does!

I'm not married, but I can understand or just imagine how rocky a marriage can be - especially when a couple had just gotten married, or weren't married for a long time.

I was incredibly happy though that Emma and Gabriel worked through their problems in the beginning. I was nervous for them at first, hehe.

The way you wrote their love for each other was really deep and sweet! The details of what Gabriel and Emma saw in each other and why they love each other - it's just beautiful! ♥

And they had a baby together!!! Aw!! :D

You did a great job overall, especially timing the of the song lyrics with certain moments in their time together. I hope they continue to live happy for the rest of their lives!

Oh and using Spanish was also a great touch! I know a little Spanish, so I knew somewhat of what they said to each other. The translations do help though! So thanks for that!

Amazing job indeed anyways for writing this! ^_^

I wish you luck with Lo and Meena's banner challenge! And I definitely love the banner for your song fic! It's awesome that you went on anyway to write this story! ;D

Author's Response: Hi there lovely!

Thank you SO much for this amazing review, and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to it!

Eeek! I'm so flattered that you think this fits with the song very well! :D

All relationships can be rocky at times, and though I'm not married either, I'm sure that marriages have a whole different aspect of rockiness to them sometimes, as you said - so I'm happy that you think I conveyed that well!

Awww, I'm so excited by your compliments about their love! These two really love each other and I'm so pleased that I showed that well!

I'm glad you liked the timing of the song and the Spanish! And thank you for the well wishes, and again for this fantastic review!

Review #4, by alicia and anne All of Me

29th April 2015:
I can only apologise for the wait for this! I'm sorry! I blame work and no internet at my other halfs house and *shakes fist at everything*

You've written the emotion in this so brilliantly, it's so powerful and you described their emotions so well. I'm rooting for them to kiss and make up and I'm so scared that it might not happen.

And the nightmare has brought them back together, I can understand why she has them. I would if my husband had a job that dangerous.

Awww they're having a baby! :D Bless her rushing around and not being able to find anything. And Gabriel is so adorable watching her get ready. You've written the love between this two so beautifully. They're so adorable cute together!

I absolutely adored the way that you incorporated the song into this story, it fit so well and I love that you included spanish in it as well.

All in all it's a fantastically wonderful one shot!

Author's Response: There is NO need to apologize - you see how long it takes me to respond to reviews, right? :( I"m sorry!

I am so flattered by your comments about their emotions. I was really rooting for them to make up, too (obviously) :P

Yes, I'd probably have nightmares like hers, too, if I were in her shoes! I imagine many wives do!

And YAY, yes, they're having a baby! It's so exciting! Awww, I'm glad you think they're adorable! ♥ I think they're probably my favorite couple I've written so far! :D

And aww! I'm happy you think it fits with the song well!

Thank you SO MUCH for this amazing, squee-worthy review! *hugs*

Review #5, by Puff It Off All of Me

16th April 2015:
Hi Jayde *waves*

I'm Puff it Off. I've seen you around the forums, and I though I should come by and read and review one of your stories. So here I am doing just that.

First I have to say that I love the song "All of Me" by John Legend. It's one of my favourite songs, and I think you wrote a very good song-fic to it. The story fit so well with what the song is all about - being together and in love in sickness and in health, for better and for worse. And you could really see this in the couple in your story.

Second of all, I love that you used spanish, because, and this is going to sound really strange, I need to practise my spanish. I was once on level 3, which in my country is the level underneath fluency, but it's been a while since I've talked, read or listened to any spanish. I did however understand everything on my own, and I feel strangely proud of that. But yeah, I loved the spanish words!

I think it's a very beautiful story. I definitely hope I'm in a relationship like this one, one day, because they seem to be very much in love. As much as I'd like to say a whole lot more about this story, I'm on a tight schedule. I have a few more stories to review before I reveal myself. But I'll see you around the forums!

Puff it Off
(which, in case you didn't get it, is my puff-version of "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift)

Author's Response: Hello there, Puff it Off! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your wonderful review!

Yes, this song really is SO beautiful, and so is John's voice, he's really talented. I had wanted to write a songfic based on it for quite some time! I'm so flattered that you think this is a good story to accompany it, and that it fits well with the song!

Eeek! I love Spanish so much! I was so excited to incorporate it into this, it's the first time I've tried it! I hope you're able to practice some soon - you can always PM me over on the forums for a chat if you want! :) I'm glad someone else loves and appreciates the Spanish as much as I do!

Yes, I think they really ARE very much in love, and I'm so happy that you think it's a beautiful story.

(And no, I didn't get it at first - thank you for explaining!)

Thank you SO MUCH!
