...and I'm speechless.
Well, not literally, but very close to being, still.
There is something so special about the domestic scenes. It's not just a house with random characters thrown into it and told 'you're family now'. You really make it feel like home. There's not many words there to describe their relationship, but there is this warmth, always present, and its just so obvious that the people in this small building are a family and they don't need these four walls to be a family.
So... I guess this is it for now. No more Sneth to read at the moment. I so, so love the two of them. ❤ I truly enjoyed watching them grow as characters, and it's a safe bet to say I lack words to describe how much I adore them and this idea of yours in the first place. Yeah, just... Let's say I would hug them a million times because it's so much easier than speaking or writing to express how I feel about them this way.
They are always going to be somewhere in the back of my mind.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
With much, much love, again, and a whole lot of hugs. ❤❤❤

Author's Response: I love that you can feel the warmth and home-ish quality in this one-shot, because I was so trying to bring that here! Especially because the canon years are going to be fraught with more Sev/Beth tension, no doubt -- Sirius making a reappearance, Sev having to choose sides again. After everything they've been through and will go through in the coming years, it was so nice to give the two of them a moment like this. ♥

They feel your hugs!! And so do I. :) Rest assured that I have in no way ignored or not seen the rest of your Sneth reviews; you have blown me away again, my friend, with your kindness! The only reason I haven't gotten to them yet is because I'm in the process of moving and starting a new job, which is sucking away a lot of my time, but I do promise to respond to them all soon!

I am honored beyond belief that people I wrote have made such an impact on you. Like, truly and deeply touched. ♥ I don't think I'll ever forget that. Much, much, much love and gratitude straight back to you!! And all the best for you, now and for years to come. ♥

My, oh my.
It's been almost 4 years since I read the Beth Bridger trilogy. And yet it still has a special place in my heart. Still remember it and think about it from time to time.
And this one-shot is just so wonderfull. So warm, so filled with love. Good love, understanding love. And sentiment, this time probably mine, not Beth's or Sev's.
I am so moved by it, really. It's just like meeting an old friend of yours and finding him in good health.
Sending vast amounts of love, hoping you are well.
Keep writing, because you are a brilliant writer.
Wish I could find more words to express what I'm feeling. This.. it's a treasure I would like to share.

With even more love,

Author's Response: This just made tears spring to my eyes. ♥ I'm honored that you still think of my writing from time to time! You were always one of my most dedicated reviewers. :) Seeing your name pop up here again was like seeing an old friend, too!

Hoping you are well, too. ♥ My writing's been a bit lackluster lately (I now write curriculum full time -- somewhere along the way I got old), but seeing this warmed my heart. It means the world to me to know that you still love my writing. That helps in ways I can't quite express properly. :)

Love right back to you, friend! ♥

Review #3, by The Summer Snake Tattoo

31st May 2015:
Greetings from The Summer Snake! I have recently slithered out of hibernation and discovered this amazing place with such amazing stories, so I want to read and review as many as I can before I go back into hibernation!

This was very nice and sweet. I liked how you showed an alternative life for Severus, where he's happy with his wife and child (or I should say children) and turned over to the good side. It made for a very nice little read.

The whole thing about the Dark mark was well-written. The child's curiosity was believable and how fast it faded was also realistic. I liked the way Severus explained it to his son and also the way Beth said he was a good wizard.

The descriptions were nice and gave a good feel to the over all scene. The characterisations were interesting and the narrative and theme was nicely done. I don't have much else to say except that it made for a great read and I'm glad to have slithered by to read it!

*showers confetti and flowers* Have a nice summer!

Now I'll be off to explore more of this wonderful sun! See ya!

With love,
The Summer Snake

Author's Response: Thank you for a lovely review, Summer Snake! This one-shot is sort of an epilogue to a Snape/OC trilogy I wrote, and one I'm particularly partial to. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hope to see you back soon -- thanks for the review!

*Raises eyebrow conspiratorially*

And WHY doesn't this have any reviews? We'll just have to fix that, won't we?? :D

This is just SO cute and fluffy, and it really makes me realize how much I need to get back into reading Beth's stories! It has been entirely too long!

I'm really hoping this is set after all three stories, as sort of like an epilogue, because this is exactly how I want the series to end! :P

Your writing is amazing, as ever, I loved this to pieces! And your characterization of Jonny is adorable!

I did notice one thing that I think was probably just an oversight: when Beth is talking to Jonny about Severus being a good wizard, she says "I don't have a tattoo, but your daddy is still a good wizard without one"; I think you meant to say "is still a good wizard WITH one". But I completely understood what you meant, it's not a big distraction or anything, I just wanted to point it out in case you hadn't noticed!

Great, cute, adorable one-shot dear! Going in the favorites! 10/10!
