7th July 2014:
I adore Harry/Ginny but I think I have yet to read one where she is in labour with James.

I really like how you've got Ron and Hermione as a newlywed couple whilst Harry and Ginny are already married I'm assuming. It's part of my headcanon that Hermione and Ron don't marry straight away like Harry and Ginny :D

Harry's assignment sounds rather found! I feel so bad that he isn't there, and I swear my heart was racing for the fear that he wouldn't make it.

I think your Harry/Ginny characterisation is spot on! And I love the whole scene where they are asking Ron and Hermione to be godparents, it's so cute! The Potter children's name are a little weird but then again Ginny did name Ron's owl Pigwidegeon! :p

The end is adorable and I love it, how it's just the three of them. That and they're already thinking of baby number two.

My only CC is a few typo's and your Americanisms which can be easily spotted/changed after a read through. It may just be personal opinion but I think writing a number flows better than using the number, e.g two rather than 2. I also spotted at the very start you said 'Aurora' instead of 'Aurors' when speaking of where Harry was.

Maybe do a continue piece for Albus and Lily? As this was fun and fluffy to read.

Aw this story is super adorable. I've never read a fic about Ginny giving birth so this was a first for me and I really enjoyed reading it :)

For a while I was scared Harry was going to miss the birth but I'm super glad he didn't. However what I most like is that you kept the labour to a believable time of 22 hours. A lot of the time in fanfiction this is reduced to like, 2-3 hours, so it was great to see you kept it realistic!

Just a tiny mistake I think you might've made. In the first para you put that Harry is away working with the 'Aurora' -- I presume you just meant aurors? Also there's a few americanisms but I don't really think it matters too much.

Overall a super cute oneshot. I feel like you should add to this with the births of Albus and Lily now ;)

{House Cup 2014 Review - Gryffindor}

Author's Response: First of all, thank you for the review. I love getting feedback. Secondly, my ultimate goal is to have a story for every pairing, and I thought this would be a good one to start with. Also, I am American so I don't really know what most things are called in the UK. I'll make some adjustments and spelling corrections later, but right now I'm working on a Draco/Hermione that's taking up most of my time. Thank you again for the review.

Review #3, by nott theodore James

Hi there!

Aw, this was such a cute story! I love moments like this when Harry and Ginny are together and just so cute, and even though I panicked a bit thinking that Harry was hurt and might not make it to the birth in time, I really enjoyed reading it and it made me laugh.

The only little bits of CC that I would have are that there are a few typos and some Americanisms here. We say 'nappies' instead of 'diapers' in the UK and I noticed a typo when you wrote 'zlondon' instead of 'London'. They're nothing major though and can be corrected really easily.

I thought you did a good job of characterising both Harry and Ginny at this point in time. I loved the part when Harry ran in screaming for his wife - it made me laugh so much! And then the whole part about naming the children - they're strange names, but I like the way that Harry and Ginny are so in harmony with each other and agree on the names even though Harry changed James's name from what it should have been. The part when they asked Hermione and Ron to be godparents was really cute too. Overall, a really sweet and fun story!

Sian :)

Review #4, by LittleLionGirl James

16th March 2014:
Well hello LizMalfoy! I have to admit, this was my first time reading a story about the Potter's having a baby! It really was lovely, and slightly dramatic (though most stories about this sort of thing are). Great job at keeping the dramatics to a believable level though! James Sirius, I like the fact he was suppose to have his little brother's name, and that eventually we know they kept true to their word. One thing- I think you meant London, or, if Zlondon is a place it needs capitalized. Other than that I have no writing critique for you. You did a lovely job over all dear!

Author's Response: LLG,

Thank you for my very first review. This is my first finished story. I did have a few errors because I'm typing everything on my phone, and the z is right next to the shift. Thanks for the review and critique.
