Review #1, by Rumpelstiltskin Christmas Eve, 1990

2nd January 2014:
Hey there!

I'm here for the sixth task of 12 Days of Reviewing on the Forums!

I've been meaning to read this anyway, as I love Remus/Sirius ships. I thought the idea of Remus and Sirius raising Harry after James and Lily's deaths was a positively marvelous plot for an AU. I was slightly reluctant at first, only because it had the potential to be a cliche, but I absolutely adored what you did with it!

The interactions between the three are so very adorable! I love that Harry stole Sirius' wand to clean up his room. I also loved that Harry stated that he, clearly, knew that Sirius and Remus were kissing, but Sirius told him that he didn't ;). This story really made me smile, seeing Harry able to have a normal (wizarding) childhood.

The fact that you created a friendship between Sirius and Narcissa in this was fantastic. I believe that, under circumstances differing from the HP series, that they could truly get on. Narcissa character was really shadowed in the series given the circumstances that she was surrounded with, and only rarely did we get to see some of her best qualities. Given those few moments, I have felt that she is really a good person, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the two making up in the end.

One last comment, Draco and Harry's blossoming friendship was quite endearing. It seems as though (almost) everything has been put right in this world that you have created.

Fantastic story!

Author's Response: Aww thanks! I'm glad you liked it! That was pretty much my goal with this story, to make a world where everything was put right, and everyone was able to get as much of a happily ever after as possible. Also, I love your username :) Rumpelstiltskin is my absolute favorite!

Review #2, by patronus_charm Halloween, 1981

1st January 2014:
Hi here for the 12 days of reviewing challenge on the forums!

I really liked this portrayal of Wolfstar because I really got a sense of their relationship and how much they both loved each other and meant to each other. Gah, itís just the idea of them two raising Harry and possibly having a happy childhood and that thought is really lovely. Iím just imagining the possibilities now for Harry and it sounds as if heíll have a much happier life because of that.

I really liked how this was from Siriusí perspective as he was closer to James and Lily given that he was Jamesí best friend and this meant that you really got to explore the grief and heart-break he must have been feeling in a much greater depth. It was all so pure and heartfelt that in certain places I really felt as if I was going to tear up or something similar.

You also recounted Siriusí memories with James, Lily and Harry in happier times really well too so for a short chapter you certainly conveyed a lot and really gave us a sense of Siriusí past. I just felt in some of the larger paragraphs about that, it might be served best if they were spilt up to make reading easier as some of them were rather large.

Other than that, it seems as if this story is off to a really great start!

Author's Response: Yeah, I do have a tendency to rattle on a bit :P And this story was uploaded with zero editing because I was on a deadline, so that probably didn't help. I'm glad you liked the story itself, though!

Ahhh, I love it! I love it I love it I love it! I love that Sirius was able to talk to Narcissa, I love that Harry and Draco met and liked each other (and could that be a lead on to Harry going into Slytherin with Draco?), and I love just all the little moments between Remus and Sirius.

Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad you liked it! I don't know if a Draco/Harry friendship would necessarily lead to Harry being in Slytherin or not. Probably, because the Sorting Hat wanted to put him there and the only reason Harry said no was because he knew he didn't like Draco, and he just watched Draco get put there. idk. There's a reason why this takes place the year BEFORE he goes to Hogwarts lol. Happy birthday again!!

I managed to find a way to read it before I got home. I love it. I love how you have Sirius as the 'strong' one, and reading Sirius's thoughts and feelings about all this made me cry.

Author's Response: Aww I'm glad you liked it! Happy birthday!
