Review #1, by ANightingaleInAGoldenCage Calla's Story

28th April 2017:
Here for CTF!

And what an interesting take this is. I love the fact that you took the limbo thing and made it your own (though in a way this reminds me of the movie Ghost? Did you take inspiration from that?) and that she still has unfinished business for the fact that shes in love with Riddle. Would that mean she's stay there forever, or finally be able to move on the moment Voldemort dies? Or is there another explanation as to why she hasn't moved on yet and why Fred is in limbo himself?
I do like the fact that he is taking it quite well, the entire being dead thing, and that he makes jokes about it and tries to lighten the mood. The Angelina mentions and the fact that he notices that her clothing is outdated and yet makes a remark about hsi own clothing is very nicely done as well.
I also wonder how he'll react to the fact that she was to be married to Tom Riddle and the fact that she had watched him do things, even from the Limbo state, the same way he did to her. You'd think she'd resent him more than she does now and I wonder why she doesn't hate him for killing her as it is. But it also makes me wonder why he played around with her and didn't kill her outright... so many questions...
Regardless, it's a very interesting setup and I wonder what you have in plans for it!

Review #2, by AbraxanUnicorn Calla's Story

27th April 2017:
Hello! CTF #3 brings me here, in hot pursuit of a flag! Is it camping out in Limbo, I wonder?

The starting scene of this one-shot is strongly reminiscent of that in Deathly Hallows, where Harry and Dumbledore meet. That, coupled with the title of this story, makes me guess that this is about someone's passing, am I right? I wonder WHO has passed away from the wizarding world?

Oh. Dragon skin suit. There can only be one person who is dead and that description fits. *Prepares to sob at reading about Fred Weasley*

There's a girl in this Limbo land, who I don't recognise from the description, so I'm guessing she's an original character, but what is she doing there and who is she? Has she just died too, or has she been sent to escort Fred "onwards"? The description of her clothes makes me wonder whether she's a character from long ago who has been dead for a while?

I love the description of Limbo and the line pertaining to when they both can leave the place "only when all our metaphorical baggage has been checked".

So, Calla has been in Limbo for fifty years and both she and Fred have unfinished business on Earth? I wonder what that could be in either case? Or are the two instances linked? Is that what brought them together here? SO many questions, sorry!

Calla then gives her story. She was an Albanian muggle (although I found it strange for her to be a muggle, yet call herself that, as it's usually how witches/wizards refer to non-magical folk), she died in the 1940s, and she described a forest. Uh-oh. I think I know down which dark path this is heading...

And, she encountered Tom Riddle. She fell in love with him but he would have never wanted her. Was it for her jewels? Did she have the lost Diadem of Ravenclaw? Will we ever find out why Fred is in Limbo?

Thanks for an intriguing read!

Review #3, by Unwritten Curse Calla's Story

11th January 2014:
Hi there! I chose this story because the banner was gorgeous and I adore Fred. But I wasn't expecting such an interesting story from an Original Character to be thrown in as well. Looks like I picked a winner!

Fred's method of coping is spot on. He jokes about it, but I'm sure later on it'll hit him and he'll have to mourn what he's lost. It makes his joking all the more sad.

When Calla first began her story, I thought she was somehow going to end up being the Grey Lady, but I know that happened long before the 20th century and that her name wasn't Calla. I liked the ending much better than what I was imagining. In love with Tom Riddle! Wow. It's definitely believable that he'd lure a Muggle girl in and then dispose of her. Heartbreaking, but believable. Poor thing. I hope that she somehow learns to let it go and is able to move on. She seems so sweet and innocent.

I would've liked to see a bit more description about this version of King's Cross. We learn that it's white, but not much else. I see you'll be adding another chapter, so hopefully that is added in. I'm totally ready for fog and other spooky details. ;)

If you don't mind, I'm going to run off and review another one-shot. I usually like leaving at least two reviews for these swaps.

Author's Response: Hi!

Ugh, I know! I wish I had as much talent in my body that easterlies has in their pinky! And yay for Fred! Ooh, a winner you say? I shall read on!

Yes, I am quite sad about his joking to compensate, but it is Fred's way.

Hmm... that is interesting. And yay for good endings! Yes, Tom Riddle is not a good man. Poor Calla. Well, I really need to write the second (and final) chapter of this, but hopefully the continuation helps Calla's happiness shine through.

Okay: description. I shall definitely add more of that! Ooh fog! I hadn't thought of that, but amazing suggestion! Shall be going on the list of things that need to be added to this chapter... :S

Ooh yay! I still haven't gotten around to your second chapter review, but I'm hoping to get through all of my unanswered reviews today and then get onto that ASAP!

Thanks so much!

Um, this is awesome. Like, really good. My mind is blown away. This is fabulous. I can't wait for the next chappie. Seriously.

Author's Response: Um, *you* are awesome!
And super nice!
Thank you for this magical review!
And I'll try to update soon (of course, there will only ever be one update), but I have about eight chapters for other stories that need to be put up, so it might not be too soon (sorry about that).
Thank you!
