Review #1, by ginerva_molly_weasley Convention for the Utterly Mad

18th July 2013:
This is a really interesting piece as I almost feel like it is going to be the start of a beautiful novel but then I looked and saw it was just a one-shot? I think you definitely should extend this as it has the makings of a really good story in the making. I just felt as it was a little too short for the calibre of writing that you have included in here.

I would assume the 'Sprites' is the magical version of rainbows or brownies which I think is very interesting as they obviously didn't have magical primary schools so they would have needed some kind of social interaction with people of their own age and this Sprite party fits in very well with this but I love Dom's reaction and really sympathise with her as we all know how annoying children's parties can be and I know how she feels when she couldn't wait to get out of there.

I would really like to know more about the characters such as Erica and Ollyve as I think they would be very good character profiles to work upon if you do carry the story on. The humour in it also flowed so well throughout which really added to the story!

Well done

Author's Response: Hi!
Thanks for the review, it really meant something to me, seeing as this is my first story and all that. Yes, the Sprites are the equivalent of the Rainbows, and Snowy Owl is the equivalent of Brown Owl (the wizarding community changed it to Snowy Owl in honour of Hedwig).
The reason why I changed it into a one-shot is because school and homework and stuff are practically taking over my life and I was worried I would never finish it. But because it's the summer holidays I've decided to sit down and write a few more chapters, and if it wasn't for your review I wouldn't be bothering, so thanks!
Right now I'm just finishing off chapter two and hopefully it will be validated and uploaded soon.
Thanks again for reading and reviewing =]
