This was so heartwarming! It was absolutely adorable, and I can tell you that I honestly had no idea what the surprise was either. I also think it's something Hermione would do it, and I think you depicted their relationship very sweetly. Loved it!

I enjoyed it. I mean it was something really different than anything else I have seen on this whole site. Just remember to appreciate it because you wrote it :) It was an adorable, well written one-shot.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.

I don't hate it, I was just ill with it for plaguing me like it did. I am so glad you enjoyed it.

Oh and I finally got a lovely banner for it designed by Strangeluv from TDA.

Thanks so much for the R&R

Well I enjoyed reading it. It's always amusing to me to see how someone chooses to break the 'fourth wall' so to speak ;)

Throughout the whole FIC, I could totally feel Ron being channeled. House as 'his Hermione' is such a girl, HE is such a boy. From his thoughts on how to keep Hermione happy by being silent and smiling, to his being distracted like no good food or pretty girls had done to him, you had me smiling. I really liked the analogies throughout the story because they were something I could relate to and honestly feel how a boy thinks sometimes :P don't tell my husband

Overall, the flow and pacing was good. I didn't feel rushed and didn't feel like you dragged it out too much either. The bit with the guy dressed up as a wizard in the middle was good foreshadowing. The little bits where Hermione knew without asking to get food for Ron just illustrates how they know each other (on top of all of Ron's grumblings in the beginning).

I did see some typos so you might want to revise a little more but like I said, this was cute and enjoyable. :)

Author's Response: I am certainly going to be revising this thing soon as I've seen tons of errors. This story was just such a chore to write that I'm not ready to look at it again. You know how it is to have an idea that hounds you, even if you want no part of it?

I am glad though you liked my characterization of Ron though, and the overall premise. The only thing I enjoyed about this piece was writing as him and the research I did on the the square. I tried to be as accurate as I could to both, and I hope I succeeded.

Thank you kindly for the R&R

Review #4, by Tonks1247 She's the Boss

16th July 2013:
Ahahahahaha! I feel like somewhat of a failed Harry Potter fan for the fact that I didn’t recognize the date at the beginning. But then again, I’d never thought of any of the characters going to find the movie that’s based of the books that they’re from, if that even makes sense. xD

Moving on, this one shot was great! I enjoyed the fact that it was from Ron’s point of view. It’s not a point of view I commonly get sucked into reading, but it was really funny. Ron’s brain is just…it’s different and it was fun to see how much he adored Hermione and how similar he is here to how he is in the books…it was just great!

I do have one thing that I caught that is an easy fix: “Of course she disagreed—something she was was prone to do—and he knew that there was no sense in ever trying to change his girl's mind about anything.” –was is in this sentence twice

But other than that one thing, grammar and stuff looked great and this was quite an enjoyable story! And, just because I found a line that made me giggle just a bit, I’ll share my favourite line of the story: “She took his hand then and led him on down the street like a kindly mother might guide a troubled child.”

Great job, again!

Author's Response: I hated writing this one because it felt like such a chore to me, but writing as Ron really helped with that. I have written as him, and I was surprised to find how much I could relate to him.

He is definitely more mature here, but I thought he would be because we see him change so much in those last three books. And the love he feels for Hermione is something I just had to illustrate some, and I just hope I did it justice.

Everyone has told me they liked that line, and its funny because it came from nowhere and made me smile too. I guess the best stuff always does.

Thanks for the R&R

Review #5, by justonemorefic She's the Boss

Oh it's been wayyy too long since I've read Ron/Hermione fic, especially Ron + Muggle things fic 8D bahaha, I love this description: "Hermione's lips were sealed tighter that a goblin's greedy grip. It all annoyed him, and he felt his face getting redder and redder, as red as the two muggle call-boxes they had just passed." It's such a hilarious, almost grotesque image xD Really, all of Ron's passive anger is the best. "Something Shaky" - omg, I love that too. "It had been alright, he supposed, but he didn't really get it."

"She took his hand then and led him on down the street like a kindly mother might guide a troubled child." Oh dear, I feel like this is a regular occurrence for Ron while Hermione's around, whether there's a surprise or not.

AHA, she's taking him to a theater. He can tell because of the popcorn, that is such a Ron thing to do omg. It's like how his Amortentia smells partly of bacon. "he found that he liked them quite a lot, sometimes more than the movie they had come to watch" I TOO GO TO THEATERS FOR THE TRAILERS c: That's because they're all the best bits.

THEY'RE WATCHING HARRY POTTER. Ohoho I didn't see that coming.

That was great! Pure silliness, I loved it :D

Author's Response: I am so glad you liked it, this story was such a chore to write. I never have that much trouble with these little stories, but this one was just evasive and maybe even a little abrasive on my poor ole, aching brain.

It was a lot of fun to read afterwards though, and I am so glad of that. Ron and Hermione are my favorite pairing, and its always good to write something around one or both of them.

Very glad you enjoyed this little piece, and thanks for the R&R.
