Aww. I'm starting a lot of reviews with 'Aww' because your stories are too sweet not to! Also, I've officially become a stalker and am reviewing every single piece of writing you've posted here. Just thought I'd warn you. ;) Okay, this story was very sweet and fluffy. King of Fluff, yeah? James was sweet, Rachel was shy and coy at the same time, and it was so endearing to watch her gradually lose her inhibitions with James. Please don't get put off by the fact I'm officially stalking you and continue posting wonderful things on the site!Author's Response: Hello again :D You flatter me so! Haha, thanks for the warning, but eh...I like hearing from you :D So, stalk away! Oh yes, King of Fluff (I actually need to go back and fix the grammatical errors in this one)!!! *Stands ontop of desk wearing a crown made out of paper* Oh, I'm not put off, in fact, I'm uber flattered :D Report Review
I just...I don't even...gah! So funny...so sweet. That was seriously cuter than a bunch of kittens teaching a bunch of puppies how to dance the Macarena (you're imagining it, right? Cute huh? Well this story was cuter than that!) I like Rachel, I'm kind of sad this was a one shot because I'd like to read more about her, like why she seems to be so sad and doesn't laugh, and her relationship with her parents. And James was sweet too :) Just...great :)Author's Response: This story is one of those first ones that I put up. It is filled with grammatical errors :P I'm glad you got past those. I should fix them sometime soon...maybe. Mental image! I can't stop laughing right now :P Oh geez, I love writing one-shots because there is the challenge of developing your characters in such a short story >:D. Basically, I'm very happy that you like Rachel! Woot, I'm thoroughly enjoying the reviews you leave Report Review
Annnd now I'm here to plague you with my reviews! This was very, very sweet. Really Valentine's day stuff. Apart from a few grammatical errors, which, btw, did nothing to disrupt the flow of this, it was very well-written. In a short story, effecient characterisation is generally hard, but it was very well done in this story. You nicely explained everything in a few words, which I really envy. My favourite part has to be the bit at the end. Overall, this made for a very good late-night read, so thanks so much. :) Cheers, -Akansha.Author's Response: Oh hello there! Oh man, yes...this is one of those stories that I need to go back and fix, but I haven't had time to yet. Wow, thank you :D!! Geez, I can't even properly think of an articulate response because this review is very, very flattering. Just know that you made me smile :D Jack Report Review
Aw. James is so sweet. This story is so awesome I can't even. 10/10Author's Response: Oo! You're back :D!!! I've got a problem of writing about James II, I should branch out and write more about other characters, but...James is epic! Thanks :D soapman333 Report Review
Haha, you got me to laugh. I was laughing a lot while reading it. I like laughing, it's my favorite thing to do. It's better than eating chocolate, which has to say something. I think you nailed James' playful presonality, he is a strange boy but you just got to like him, somehow. I could just see him chasing after one girl just to make her laugh. That said I think it's obvious I liked it quite a lot. So thank you for writing it and brightening my day. xAuthor's Response: Wow, what a wonderful review! Ha this story is all kinds of obnoxious, isn't it? I'm glad you enjoyed it and I, also, love to laugh. Oh man, I'm grateful that you enjoyed it. Jamesy is a favorite character of mine to write. Thanks again, Jack Report Review
Hello there! I really liked Rachel straight away, her thoughts were really funny to read, and she made witty observations of the world, so that was fun to read. I liked the mention of her parents, as they sounded like rather formidable people! I really liked James as well, he just seemed so nice and friendly. I think the main reason why I liked him, is because he knew who Rachel was, and that seemed to have made a big impact on her, as she was actually being recognised. I liked that you made him head boy, as I hate it when James’s is portrayed to be really annoying, so I liked your portrayal of him, as it seemed more fitting, after all his namesake was head boy! He certainly brightened my day as well, and left me with a smile on my face. I thought it was really sweet that he had been trying to make her smile since second year, it was just so cute, and adorable, and those kind of things always make me aw in my head. I loved the ending as well, it was just lovely and tied in perfectly with the rest of the one shot. I’m really glad that I read this, as it left me feeling all warm and fluffy! -Kiana!Author's Response: Ha this story is such a strange one. I don't even remember what gave me the idea for it, but here it is! So, this is one of the few stories that I wrote from a girl's perspective which is very, very challenging. Part of me wants to go back and re-write it from Jamesy's perspective, but I don't think that would be a good idea. Plus I'm too lazy. Good! I tried to subtly suggest that Rachel has a wee bit of a self-esteem issue (from her parents), so the fact that James knew who she was and went out of his way to make her laugh really makes an impact on her. I should go in and fix all of the grammatical issues, but my laziness is leaking. I should go clean that up. I'm glad you liked it :D This response was weird...I just woke up from a nap btw. That should explain some of it. Jack Report Review
Ugh. Just perfect. Absolutely flippin perfect. Beautiful story. My mind is just running, and I'm so full of fluff right now that even if I tried I probably wouldn't be able to write a actual CC review, because I have none for you. This was just brilliant. I loved how fast paced it was, and then how it would slow down and enjoy the moment. The ending was just perfect. I'm smiling so hard right now :D My favourite quote:- "When he returns he hands me a beautiful red tulip and I stare at it, tears threatening to form in my eyes." I don't know why, but that affected me just as much as it affected Rachel. Beautiful. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story!! I'm definitely adding it to my favourites, and you are an amazing writer soapman. (You have no idea how many typos there were in this. I'm so happy that I can't type properly :D) Amazing. - AbhiAuthor's Response: Woah, what a flattering review *blushes* Thank you! I wanted to write something silly and fluff filled, so this what I came up with. I'm so grateful that you like it! Thanks for such a wonderful review, I can't stop smiling myself. soapman333 Report Review
That was really cute, even if everything did move a bit fast! I was kind of getting whiplash trying to keep up with what they were doing next... However James' adorableness (is that a word?) totally made up for it. Plus, my name is Rachel so yaaay :D Overall really good! Well done! XAuthor's Response: Yeah...I tried to mimic how crazy impatient/ADD James is by my writing style. I like to think that James is constantly trying to find something to keep himself busy or something. Oh! I'm glad your name is Rachel! We need more of those in the world (that didn't make sense. Don't think too hard about it). Thanks :D This response was pointless. I really appreciate the review! AW this is such a cute story :P I'm going to read it whenever I'm depressed. James is awesome! Good Job!! :DAuthor's Response: Why thank you! It's definitely one of those fluffy-puffy stories ;). I'm glad your enjoyed it! Thanks for the awesome feedback, soapman333 Report Review
This such an adorable fic! It's a really sweet one-shot, I definitely enjoyed reading it =]Author's Response: Yay! I was worried when I put it up, because the ending kind of catches some readers off guard, but I'm absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed it! Thanks for your awesome review, soapman333 Report Review
I loved it! It was cute and silly; just what I needed!Author's Response: I'm glad! I tried to make James like a real teenage boy :) soapman333 Report Review
