Aw this was such a sad little story! It is even sadder that Lily's fears come true, it is their last christmas. I liked your descriptions a lot, especially in the beginning. I enjoyed James' light nature as well. This was short but really very sweet. I would have loved it to be longer though and get a deeper glimpse into the lives of James, Lily, and Harry. An appearance of Sirius would have been awesome too.
