I've never really been into Doctor Who, that was always more my sister's thing, but I'm now intrigued. I might go watch some more Doctor Who.

Shame on you for leaving a cliffy! I want more!

Also, your writing style behind the dialog is fantastic! I've always loved looking into the way writers such as your self approach that part of the story, as silly as it sounds… but it is probably one of the most important parts of any book or story and you do it so wonderfully! Not that the rest of it isn't good! It's perfect too but when your characters talk, they actually talk. Their voices don't just blend into into each others, no, each character has their own unique voice! And I love it! And I don't say that often! I'm very picky about voices…

Now look at that, I'm becoming overly dramatic! For shame, really, I blame it all on you...

Author's Response: Huh, that is a bit of a cliffy, isn't it? I apologise, I didn't even realise I was doing it :P It just seemed like a good place to end the chapter.

Thank you! I've had a number of comments along those lines about my dialogue, and it really is flattering to think my writing reflects reality. I find dialogue to be really important to develop characters and the relationships between them. And, of course, it always helps to hear Matt Smith's Doctor in my head when I write his lines :P

I was going to pass this story up as it only had one chapter but then I realised it was you writing it (I stalk your works) and I really wasn't dissapointed...love it!
