Review #1, by rogue_bludger broken wings

6th April 2013:
another tear-jerker. You're an amazingly talented writer and you have an incredible way with words. The mental image of Percy's daughter with purple hair and combat boots (and in Slytherin!) totally made my day. It's somewhat like the Dom from my No Second Chances story (which needs to hurry through the queue already!)
ps- I did private message you through the forums (not sure if it was you but its the same user name). Lets talk there so I can get your opinion.. I'm having a hardcore writers block here!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for yet another review. :) This was one of my favorite pieces to date, and I'm glad you can relate this Lucy to your Dom, if only in the beginning.

P.S. I got it and just responded :)

Review #2, by HufflepuffGirl93 broken wings

30th November 2012:
Wow. This was amazing. I really loved what you did with this - it was so different. In some ways I would have liked for it to have been longer, so we could get more in depth in Lucy's emotions...but it was a very powerful one-shot. Lucy's character was very strong - you showed the conflict between her love for Molly and her own struggles very well. I liked how you brought Down's Syndrome into it, and how that connected with magic. And I love James in this. I like that it was him who found her, and not some 'knight in shining armour' type guy, and how the ending isn't happy-ever-after, but is hopeful. Really good work!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review!

As for the longer, someone suggested that I write a sequel for some explanations, so I'll get more in depth there. It'll be more James and her centric, too. That's a conflict I sometimes face, too, so that part was shockingly easy for me write- my oldest sister has DS.

I'm glad you like James. I see him as an arrogant jerk too much, but in this he's a good person. :) NOt exactly a knight, but a friend, if that makes sense.

Thank you so much for the amazing review!

Review #3, by BKL8008 broken wings

28th November 2012:
Once again, I am astounded.
You capture details and depth here that surely sound as if they come from experience. Having dealt with all of these things (substitute another malady for DS) and I can honestly say, you nailed it.
This is also refreshing in fanfic to see the NextGen Weasley/Potter Clan not being all snowy angels singing hallelujah. They are flawed. Deeply flawed. They have problems to which we can relate. They are not fluffy cardboard cutouts here. (I am currently doing a Molly/Arthur one with a lot of strife; it's not going over well I don't think!)
Again, an amazing read. I am impressed!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the amazing review. :)

My oldest sister has DS, so I do have a lot of experience there. I also have a lot of experience with Lucy, but I won't go into detail there.

Honestly, the 'happy, perfect' NextGen is something I cannot see as plausible. Those kids are under an amazing amount of pressure to try to live up to their parents- some react in different ways.

I wish you luck on Molly/Arthur. If anyone, they seem like a bit of a fairytale to me. :) I'm so glad you liked it, and thanks (as always) for the amazing review!
