Haha, yeah that didn't exactly make me fall in love with Petunia but it was great all the same! For some reason I kept comparing the things you said happened to Lily and the things Petunia did to Harry. Like when you said everyone was told Lily went to a posh private school and yet Petunia told people Harry went to a school for naughty kids or something. Just makes me sad because she knew whats she could have done but she didn't.

This was nicely written and I think you've got Petunia's character nailed. I imagine this as when she was still a child though, after she called Lily a freak maybe? I don't know, she seems upset at what she's done but also like she doesn't want to be upset because she wanted to be noticed.

I'm gonna stop now, before I start to ramble on forever. You've did a great job! :)

I don't think I fell in love with Petunia exactly, but I did want to give her a big hug and some tea and just let her rant. You really got at how she was very conflicted and was very relatable. I think we've all been in her position, where we start to question why the world sin't fair, and you wrote that feeling so, so well. The last line was my favorite I think, because it both left the story open and summed everything before it well. Amy needs to write lots more things. (nod) Very pretty. :D

Author's Response: I have come to the conclusion that is is fairly impossible to fall in love with Petunia in the same way that it is impossible to fall in love with Snape. Their actions in life, no matter their motives, were wrong and for that, we can never forgive them. Hugging them is always acceptable though!
