Review #1, by Pottergirl7 Keep Your Enemies Closer

21st December 2012:
My second review! Well let me just say that this is a fabuliscious idea and I really love this blonde girl. I admit I'm one of those fans who fantasize about changing dramatic scenes to avoid conflict and a horrible chain of events. I loved the three stories and I had a grin on my face the whole way through! I also like how she never reveals too much but just what's necessary. Great job, I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you! I have to say I loved this idea when I thought of if because honestly I don't think it's possible to read a book without wanting to stop certain events. I just thought I'd hit some of the important ones in Harry Potter.

Thanks for the lovely review!

Review #2, by Keira7794 The Noble House of Riddle

Haha!

Okay, I admit I wasn't expecting this story to take that kind of turn! The blonde girl kind of took a fairy-godmother appeal, and I loved that you turned her into a fan.

I really like the idea that by Tom never touching the water, Voldemort was never born. But then... does that mean there was no war? And therefore no rush to get married? Could the Weasley's have waited?! Could there be only one or two Weasley siblings in the world?!
...This could be HP-altering ;)

I enjoyed your characters, and they each played their roles in society very well. Your descriptions were lovely - they really painted an image in my mind. Well done!

Keira :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, I suppose if the war never happened a whole host of things wouldn't have happened/ would have been altered. For starters, the entire HP series would be moot. Which is why I made it so each chapter in this collection was separate from the first because after this chapter, none of the others would have happened.

Thanks for the lovely reivew!

Review #3, by MissMdsty The Noble House of Riddle

7th December 2012:
Hey there!

This was so funny! It reminded me of those comedies where teens are told that kissing makes them get pregnant and die. =)

I was a bit dissapointed that we didn't know who the blonde woman was, but her ideas were brilliant. A make-over. I'm kinda wondering what Tom Sr. would say after it, when he saw her.

I'll be coming back to read the rest! Good job! :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you found it funny as I'm usually terrible with humor. The blonde girl is really just supposed to represent every Harry Potter fan, which is why she doesn't have a name nor is she a member of canon. She's just there, knowing everything and preventing it, haha.

Review #4, by ChaosWednesday The Noble House of Riddle

5th December 2012:
Hey there! It's Whiskey from Holiday Review Swap :D

Love the idea! It happens more often than I'd like to admit that I scream at a book or TV-screen, instructing silly characters to just do the logical thing instead of the one that will make the plot move forward...*sigh*
Voldemort's conception is an example of one of those rather contrived and over-the-top stories, so I'm glad it came first in this collection!

Let's see...I would advise you to tone down on the itallics in dialogue. I know it helps bring accross intonation, but it can also make everyone sound kind of hysterical. Also, you used "like the worthless trout he was" twice in a row ;). And in "The last spin of the soup spoon she had been using caused" I would remove the "had been useing" part, since it's kind of clear that the spoon was related to the potion. There are a few other moments like that, but otherwize, a fun and engaging story, good job! :)

Author's Response: Hey there, thanks for the lovely review! I'm glad that you like the idea of the story- I have a lot of fun writing these.
I completely see what you mean with the italics now that I go back and read it over. Sometimes I guess I just get a little carried away. Thank you for the other advice too- I'll go back and edit the story soon!

Review #6, by Cassius Alcinder The Noble House of Riddle

13th September 2012:
This is a very interesting idea for a story I must say. While it was intresting to get to see Riddle's background in book 6, it really did raise a lot of questions, which you were able to humorously exploit here. I'm curious to see what other moments you will highlight.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm really glad you liked it. It makes me feel better about already having all the other scenes planned ;) Thank you for the review!
