Louis so perfect and seemingly worldly, but why does he need a job at a muggle resturant? And does Ava have any real ambition for like a real job i.e reporter, designer, chef, etc. Or was she just planing on marriang Ian and never working? And why hasn't she began working two jobs or three?

ah so this chapter I feel a little more amicable towards Ian. I still don't really like him, but I can appreciate him a lot more after seeing him like that.
But when it comes to Louis ♥ ♥ ♥
I hate it when she sees Louis as Ian and it really makes me hurt for Louis more than anything :( So I'm definitely glad that she's starting to see him for who he really is and all of the differences.
I loved the chapter! I'm really glad it's kind of officially finished with Ian because that was messing with her head too much among all her other problems and I feel like Louis is the shining light at the end of the tunnel and he could be really good for her (so long as she doesn't end up hurting him!)
Also I'm disappointed in Matt, like woah is that what he really thinks of her?? I mean I know he was drunk but is that what he's always thought of her and never said or? Woah.
Anyway brill chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next! ♥ (especially since Ava's now taken to sleeping in Louis' bed)

Ahem, now to the more sane part of the review.
I continue to adore your writing, 'cause it's clear that you have talent and then some. Besides that, I like how the story is developing, it's like a little mystery unfolding over time (i.e. the mention of Ian, who is a past love of Ava's, I assume, Louis stating that he's not a relationship guy-did something happen to make him afraid to be one, or...). And I enjoy a good mystery, especially if it has other elements thrown in it, like romance, humour, etc.
In short, I love it and can't wait to read it all. :)

I haven't left you a review for this story before but since I'm now trying to review every chapter I read I thought it was about time. I'm really enjoying this story and it's really interesting to see how you develop the plot with each chapter.

Ava is...seriously messed up. Her life is in a horrible place right now and she obviously needs someone there to help her sort it out. I feel sorry for Louis, but someone needs to be there to help her through. Louis is probably one of my favourite characters in this story, and I'm looking forward to know a lot more about him. When you think about it, there aren't actually that many characters who have come into this story, which is actually quite a nice change to authors who find it necessary to put every single character in the first chapter. Matt's another character I really like at the moment.

I'm not really sure how to feel about Ava. Of course, since everything is narrated from her POV, I feel sorry for her, but at the same time, since she's the one who broke up with Ian I can't help feeling that she should be trying to get over him rather than moping about it and trying to find a substitute. I guess that's why I feel sorry for Louis more than her - he deserves more than being a substitute for a guy that he's never met but that Ava's in love with.

Ian is another character I'm not really sure how to feel about yet. I don't dislike him after seeing him stand up to his parents over Ava in this chapter (I hate his mother though) but I feel like I don't know enough about his character yet to form an opinion on him.

Since I speak French, one of the things I'm really enjoying is the way that Louis is telling Ava his feelings without her being able to understand. I sometimes (particularly when I'm annoyed) say things in another language when I know that whoever I'm talking to can't understand, so it's quite realistic, but romantic as well.

You did make one mistake with the French here, though, and I hope you don't mind me pointing it out. Instead of "je suis vraiment peur" it should be "j'ai vraiment peur" (you have fear in French rather than are scared, although I'm sure you don't want a lesson on it!).

Anyway, I'm really enjoying this story and I hope the updates keep coming!

Wow, the drama. Intense. I like it. I especially like that she gradually learns to see Louis as his own person. Seems like walking out of Ian's life this last (?) time really was a step towards closure and moving on. I like Ian... and I think Ava's not right to make the choice for him. If he wants to have her in his life, and go against his parents, she should let him make that decision. Though I do understand her too -and that it's really hard on her, to be the one tearing him from his world, so to speak.
I'm curious about Ava's family. Also, about Louis. I anticipate their opening up to each other.

Ian's mum is so - blargh! (keeping them reviews 12+), but i'm sure you understand how i feel about her ;)

I quite liked how Ian was portrayed! It wasn't the typical rich boy. I really loved how he was standing up for Ava. I legit went: AW!

More than anything, it was the Ava-Louis moments that made me love the chapter! I'm glad she finally understood that Ian and Louis are two different people! It means that she's (sorta) getting over him! :D I like how Louis keeps expressing his feelings - although in French! At least at no point can she say "you never told me you felt like that" or something along those lines!

amazing chapter, babe. I was a bit teary at some points, because you can see how messed up ava really is and how much louis wants to help her. my heart broke a little bit when matt told him she was nothing but trouble, to be honest. I was eating my prawn toast and mentally yelling YOU'RE HER BEST FRIEND, YOU MEAN, MEAN BOY. but, it seems to me like she finally has closure with ian, and ending things with him. like, it was unfinished before, but she's ended it now and so can really start to move on.

*with louis, cough.

adore louis, as per. he's adorable and his lurveee for ava is beyond cute and they better get married because he deserves it though ava needs to sort her shizz out first. love her and all, but wowza. btw, moving in with lou permanently? GOOD IDEA. try it. dare ya. make my shipper heart.

I'm always excited when i see a new chapter! I love this story! The only disturbing thing to me, is that Ava rarely uses magic... For example she got herself a cub why not apparate?

This story is so good, I love it!! I'm just loving it and this is going to be a really short sucky review because I'm really tired and about to go to sleep but basically I love Ava and Matt and Louis (I hate Ian though haha) and I love your plot! I also thought back in chapter two or wherever that the drunk part was really good and it seemed like a pretty good way to get the drunkenness across (very accurate too haha) And I loved your little P&P reference with Mr Drancy ;) I'm super behind in reading your other stories (not quite sure why I thought it would be a good idea to start another one instead of catching up...) but I will eventually catch up on them! aha
