This is such a sad piece :( but very well written. Dorcas is one of the characters that we don't know much about do reading the ideas for different creations for her is always new.

It's So sad to think that she lived such a horrible life, from a little girl she was never really safe.

The idea that her father was murdered and that's why got her into the order seems really creative and plausible. Even if she didn't like the man he was she still loved her father for being her father.

I liked the constant comfort she found in the starts, and despite everything she went through that still have her peace.

Author's Response: Thank you! I always wanted to write a Dorcas fic, and I don't know why I hadn't done it before now. It was so fun :)
