I really like the story so far!! The way you portrayed the characters, leaving none flat, with potential for development. I'm not sure if I do or don't like Hazel, she seemed pretty narcissistic at that night with the ash ceremony but in general doesn't seem like she must be downright terrible. I can't wait to read on about how tutoring sessions go and whether she returns the notebook or not!

Interesting start to the story. I like all of your OC's, especially Evie, she seems quite real. I like the way that the chapter flowed, it didn't seem rushed and read quite well.

Wow. I'm surprised at how much I liked this. Mostly because it usually takes a lot more effort for me to find a good story. I'm pleased to have stumbled across this, though. It's quite cute, and Evie seems both original and real. I'm really excited to see where this goes, because the summary got me quite intrigued. An original idea, and you kept it from being cliche and tiresome like a lot of Hogwarts-age next-gen these days. I'd only suggest fixing the odd spacing between paragraphs, because that turned me off a bit, but it's just a testament to how much I enjoyed this that I kept reading anyway :)

Your story is so good! Not only is it well put together and the perfect length, but it is also really descriptive and funny! I think the whole James scene near the end was adorable, and I personally am shipping Evie and James! WOOo! I'm not even hesitating about that ship!
