Review #1, by Pheonix Potioneer The Sorting Hat's Prediction

7th December 2012:
Yay! He got put in Gryffindor! A lot of people put him in Slytherin, which I don't like very much. Slytherin is a great house, but from what we can tell from the epilouge, Albus probably would have pleaded with the sorting hat for hours if it wanted to put him in Slytherin.

Oh, wow, they're giving the students potions to protect themselves from the Triad party? I thought it was serious, but not that serious.

I wonder how many potions muggle-borns would get. Victoire didn't mention that, but obviously the Triad party hates muggle-borns.

Keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. Muggle-borns are generally frowned upon in the Triadic Party, yes. Good observation. And it is pretty serious. Roudolphus has already killed a village worth of Muggles, and emergency decisions were made in the last minute.

Review #2, by Pheonix Potioneer The Journey to Hogwarts

7th December 2012:
I really like your story so far. I really like that you added a little bit of Albus's summer too. In my Albus Potter story I just started the moment the train departed. So it's really nice that you added that in.

I never really thought that the wizarding world would have different parties like the muggle world has. Good idea!

I wonder what house Albus will be in, most people put him in Gryffindor or Slytherin. He seems like a Gryffindor though.

It looks like Rodolphus might have a part in this story! In the Harry Potter series, he was mostly pushed aside.

Williamson seems kind of strict, but fair. I wonder what caused him too be fired from the Auror office...

Keep writing, it is very good!

Author's Response: Oh my god, yes! I hated how Roudolphus was totally ignored in the original series. And with the political situation in the world, it's kind of in the front of my mind. I like the idea of parties as well. Thank you for your review.

Review #4, by MargaretLane Finally Getting the Letter

30th September 2012:
I'm quite sure the beginning of this chapter is a dream. Poor Albus.

Hmm, they are members of political parties. That's interesting. And they are all Aurors. I guess it makes sense that Aurors would be involved in politics. Albus wants to get involved with politics when he grows up? I suppose that makes sense if his parents are involved.

Yikes, what is an 11 year old doing with that kind of money? Suppose it's not that unbelievable in this day and age. I remember being that age and thinking I was rich because I'd 20. OK, so with inflation, that would probably be about 50 today, but definitely not enough to go buying expensive sports equipment.

Author's Response: I thought about the money situation as well, but then I figured that Harry is probably rich and Harry was extremely thrifty with his money and resources, so Albus would have that money as well. I remember my cousin saved up for years to buy his first car, and everyone thought he was crazy. Then he purchased a luxury vehicle. So that was the experience that prompted that. Thank you for the review.

Review #5, by MargaretLane Prologue: The Triad Rising

30th September 2012:
Yikes, this is pretty dark stuff right from the beginning.

And Operation Midnight Fox makes sense in a way. After all, police in most countries can shoot to kill in extreme circumstances, like a spree killer or something, so it makes sense that Aurors would need the same rights sometimes. It's easily abused though, so hopefully, Midnight Fox has strong limits on it.

Wonder who the third member of the Triad is. It's probably somebody we'd never suspect.

Author's Response: Operation: Midnight Fox will be getting attention later on, for sure. And so will the third member of the Triad. Thank you for the review.

Review #6, by Sheriff The Journey to Hogwarts

24th August 2012:
Thought I'd leave you a review - never much fun to have a story sitting on zero!

I like the political supporting story - the Shields and the Triads - and I think it's got potential to develop quite intriguingly. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters.

The only thing I would say on the other hand at the moment is that things are skipping on rather rapidly at the moment - the chapters are pretty short, and time is passing quickly without too much depth being given to the characters.

What do I think of Scorpius and Tancred? I don't know them yet at all, beyond the fact that Tancred has a tan and a name that is not British...!

Author's Response: Thank you for noticing the Shields and Triads. It's an election year, and I thought I'd show my colors. Now that things are at Hogwarts, I think that my chapters can get a lot more interesting and, as you mentioned, a lot longer. Both Scorpius and Tancred will undergo a lot of character development, promise. Thank you for your review.
